This place is a total find. Awesome basic Italian food and great pizza. Shopping center isn’t much to look at, but don’t let it fool you. BYOB and a decent patio, and the food is fantastic. Baked pastas, veal, and pizzas are my faves.

I’m all about the crust — I used to be all about the bass, but now it’s the crust. I love a good pizza and decided to stop at this place and check theirs out. I have to say it was pretty good. The toppings were tasty and the crust was very, very good. I stopped in on a Monday night, it wasn’t very busy. The food came out quickly and the staff was friendly. If I recall, I think this place used to be located where the new Trader Joe’s is and now it is right next door to it. The Décor kind of reminded me of a nice restaurant, but also seemed sort of a notch above a fast food place with waiters. It is a casual dining spot. I’m sure on the weekends this place can get busy, so you may want to try it during the week. They have a full menu of all Italian favorites. There seemed to be quite a few customers stopping in for takeout orders, so the rest of the menu must be good.

I ordered delivery and waited for a bit until my food arrived. The pizza portions are huge, lasagna is cheesy, juicy and delicious. They also included slices of bread! I highly recommend this place!

I went Besas for lunch today and was surprised by my experience. The cashier was rude to my coworker in front of me in line and rolled her eyes(!) when she asked a question about the lunch menu. I ordered the chicken parm with a caesar salad. Chicken parm was under cooked with bitter marinara & the dressing on the caesar was a concoction of ranch plus caesar. The experience was a joke. Don’t waste your time. The food was revolting and an insult to Italian food everywhere. If you’re going to go for basic, you’re better off at Olive Garden.

Definitely the best pizza in the area and they deliver pretty quickly. Their cannoli and subs are good too, but I don’t love their entrees. Stick with the pizza for sure!

This is casual Italian dining that you can’t judge from the exterior. It is the perfect place for an early dinner with BYOB wine. The interior is updated but still casual with RatPack music softly playing in the background. The dinner salad is average but fresh. The dinners are really good with amazing sauces!

Last week I found this hole in the wall type Italian restaurant by mistake, in Unilocal. It has been in existence for the last 12 in N Dallas, near the intersection of Belt Line & Preston, and more specifically, two blocks S of Belt Line, & is located at the intersection of Preston & Alexis. You turn L onto Alexis, & is near The Hobby Lobby shopping center. It is family owned, has gotten nothing but = 5 — Star Reviews on Unilocal, it is very very cheap, & they give you tons of delicious Italian Dishes, which you can’t finish & have to carry home ! Also, they let you = BYOB(beer, wine, hard liquor) for free, into their restaurant, & even brag about it ! They have free delivery in the area, with a min $ 15 order. I ate there last week for the first time & ordered Spaghetti & Meatballs($ 6.99 or $ 7.99 ?), & the spaghetti was so flavorful & delicious, was a fantastic meal. They brought me so much spaghetti that I had to get a Doggie Bag to take home, which I never do. They also bring you hot, homemade rolls & butter, as soon as you sit down. Tonight, Sat night 8/29, I decided I would try their pizza, in which I have heard nothing but rave reviews, even from fanatical New Yorker Pizza Afficionados. I was by myself & pretty hungry, but I knew that I couldn’t finish a Lg pizza by myself, so I opted for the next smaller size = Med pizza. They later brought me out my Med pizza, which was GI — NORMOUS !!! I thought there might have been a mix up w/my order & asked my waitress if the kitchen got me a Lg pizza by mistake, instead of the Med pizza that I ordered? My waitress told me = no mistake, & that GI — NORMOUS pizza was indeed a Med pizza & not a Large !!! It was very savory and delicious, just like you would probably eat in N Y, or other well known pizza cities up north. I got a double hamburger($ 1.00 extra for the 2nd topping), & again, had to get a Doggie Bag for the remaining pizza slices that I couldn’t finish.

This family owned restaurant is terrific. The food is fantastic and the service is friendly. They have amazing Italian favorites and delicious cannoli and are BYOB. The best thing at Besa’s, for me, is their authentic NY Style pizza. It’s tough to please this ex-pat NYer when it comes to pizza, but this place has the real deal. You will not be disappointed when you eat here.

This is not the best pizza by any means. Tastes very generic & as if the passion for cooking pizza, vanished with the quality ingredients. Was is a rush & seemed like the right choice for a slice… Just not for me. House salad is decent though

I have been in this place many times and completely forgot to review it! Besa’s is a neighborhood small restaurant. The portions are huge, each plate is good for 2 people although I must say I entire dish alone… it is an excellent option if you are craving good old Italian«best sellers». I had pizza long time ago but just remembered I liked but recently I had the chicken with lemon butter one night(the one I ate the entire dish) and other night I had Chicken Parmigiana. seems to me a very honest Italian cuisine, where you go when you are missing mamma!

I discovered this place a few weeks ago. Through their website I found out that they deliver via the eat24 app. So easy and so delicious! The fried cheese is a must! Great lunch specials M-F 11 – 3.

My wife loved the pasta there. She had the baked ziti and raved over it. I had a Stromboli with peperoni substituted. The only con on it is that they didn’t spread it out. It was just a clump of pepperoni in the center. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I give the food a 3, but because it is close, they offer free delivery and they have a more extensive Italian menu then most delivery pizza places I give it a 4. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and veal artichoke. For the price it was pretty good quality and a good size portion. The veal artichoke I ate for 3 different meals. It had a good amount veal, artichokes and pasta. The sauce was a little tangy and pretty light. My husband wasn’t impressed with the veal, but I think his expectations may have been a little high as all the times he has had veal before it was at far nicer and more expensive restaurants. My husband really liked the pizza, the sauce had a unique flavor but it was a little too thick of a crust for me. Delivery was quick and on time. Overall, not the best Italian food I have ever had, but for the price and convenience we would order again.

So yummy! Very authentic Italian food! I thought the staff was friendly and did a good job attending to my needs. I love that they have garlic powder on the tables too! They season the food perfectly, but I’m a garlic addict. BYOB too, so you can bring your favorite food! Definitely not overpriced. My boyfriend and I love this place for date nights!

I ordered delivery from Besas tonight through Eat 24 and was very pleased! I get tired of Chinese and pizza delivery. It was nice to have Italian options that were a thoughtful addition to the menu, not a last minute add on. Everything arrived in 48 minutes in an ice storm, completely accurate(including multiple special requests), and piping hot! I ordered the appetizer mussels(with extra sauce for bread dipping), the antipasto salad(added onions and tomatoes — it might come with this regularly but the Eat 24 menu didn’t specify so I wanted to make sure) and the Chicken Primavera. Everything came with a bunch of slices of bread which had good flavor and wasn’t rock hard and dry like some places. Mussels — these were larger and meatier than expected. The sauce was too runny and too salty for my taste. They were slightly over cooked. It satisfied my craving but I wouldn’t order again. Antipasta Salad — awesome! Fresh ingredients, generous toppings, and a delicious fresh made house dressing. The meats and cheese were good quality. It was a very generous portion as well. Very happy with this salad! Chicken Primavera — Generous serving of well flavored and cooked chicken, Artichoke hearts, bell pepper, and olives in a white cream sauce. This exceeded my limited expectations. I did need to add salt and pepper and the sauce lacked flavor in my opinion, but again the ingredients were fresh and the cream sauce was made fresh as well which is rare for a pizza place. Very impressive for the price. I will definitely order(non pizza menu items) from Besa’s for delivery again and recommend it to my neighbors as well.

It’ll do in a pinch. I like my slices a little crispier; in fact the entire slice seems a little under-done. However, the lunchtime deal is hard to turn down. 2 slices, unlimited toppings, salad and a drink for $ 7.99. Like another reviewer commented, it’s comparable to Sbarro/s, maybe a little better.

Did quite a bit of research on where to get some Italian food(specifically pasta) delivered before finding this place. Decided to write a review because not a lot of comments have been made on their dinners. Called and ordered a shrimp scampi, cheese tortellini in Alfredo sauce, a philly cheese steak and a chicken Caesar salad for delivery. It all arrived within 45 minutes and was very hot. All entrees came with bread. Everything was delicious! The entrees were also large especially for how cheap they were. I was very impressed and now this is the place we will order our next pizza from and future Italian dinners. The menu is large and I can’t wait to try some other pasta and chicken dishes. Highly recommended! Update: had the pizza and antipasto salad: delicious!

Got take out here and the order was ready on time. It is a local spot with authentic processes and vibe. Parking was easy out front of the strip mall and it was crowded inside when I went in to pick up my order. The order was accurate when we got home and I feel like that is winning half the battle sometimes. We got the neapolitan«White» and«Special» pizzas and they were both okay. There was a lot of oil and the cheese was not the best. But I liked the crust and the sauce. We also got a antipasta salad which was average and pretty run of the mill. It could have used more meat slices.
