History

Established in 2012.

Common Desk opened in November of 2012. It was profitable within the first month of opening, offering flexible month-to-month office solutions for people who work from home, coffee shops, or who travel often. As one of the first coworking spaces in Dallas, Common Desk grew rapidly and expanded twice within its own space by 2014. Common Desk is scheduled to open a second location in 2015 that will offer more executive suites to accommodate medium to larger sized companies.

Meet the Business Owner

Nick C.

Business Owner

After graduating from SMU, Nick spent seven years in commercial real estate. During that time, he closed over 350 office leasing transactions, was recognized by D Magazine as one of Dallas’ top brokers, and sat on the NTCAR Young Professionals board. His experience developed into an overall passion for workspaces. In 2011, Nick resigned to launch a coworking space in Deep Ellum called Common Desk. Common Desk is a workspace centered around community, currently has over 150 active members, and is now about to complete its second expansion. It has been recognized nationally by the Coca-Cola Company as one of the nation’s top ten places to work.
