Hi Fi Jewelry creates one of a kind jewelry from recycled (non-collectible) records, chains and trinkets.

History

Established in 2007.

Hi Fi Jewelry originally started out as Texas Tarts in 2007 from owner, designer Jacky Sylvie. A small side project of taking some dusty old records found in the closet and changing them into jewelry. From there Hi Fi Jewelry has grown into a creative business gracing the pages of DeLux Car Kulture, Austin City Jewell, Dallas Observer-Best of Edition, DFW.com, DFW Around Town, Envy and Oligoville. You can also find Erica Badu and Amy Poller wearing Hi Fi creations.

Jacky S.

Business Owner

Love your music and fashion with a little passion? So does Jacky Sylvie, vinyl vixen extraordinaire! Marching to the beat of her own drummer, Jacky wanted a way to make the music go on forever and find a way to make nice with Mother Earth. Her dedication to a better environment and her creative obsessions led to clever experimentation and the Hi Fi Jewelry (formally Texas Tarts) brand was born. Since 2007, Jacky has been creating wearable art from recycled materials with a fun, funky, rock-n-roll edge.
