Very average bar and food. Would never go out of my way to get food here, but for some reason I always end up at this part of Terminal E… service was good. Selections were standard. My cheddar bacon burger was decent but did leave a lingering taste in my mouth. There’s really not much else to say.

Beware $ 4.00 up charge for side salad! The service is okay, but not spectactular. The food is meh… but if you have time to kill it’s not the worst. If you have 45 minutes or more, jump the tram to Terminal E!

I only came in for a drink before my flight to help me pass out: p I sat up at the bar so I had wonderful service. For a bottle of Shiner, and a shot of Jameson, my total came up to be about $ 10, which is pretty good for an airport. They have also have a good amount of TVs so if you want to catch a game before your flight, this is the perfect place. They also have one section of the restaurant reserved for the biggest games, so you can sit in a private section filled with that games fans. The only reason why I think this place is just okay is from what I observed. There seemed to have been one worker kind of standing around and one server running around. One patron clearly was annoyed by this because he had to get up in order to receive his ticket. Not only did he have to get up but the one person standing around said she couldn’t do anything about it and had to spend extra time finding the already busy server. From reading the other reviews and from what I saw, I can only assume service to be lacking.

Food is nothing to write home about(especially since you’re usually on the way home if you’re here!). Service is always decent but even that can be hit or miss. The waitresses spend more time chatting by the bar than they do checking on the tables. My advice is to order the BIG beer so you don’t have to wait for a refill. This DFW terminal is lacking in food choices, especially if you’re down this end. There’s a TGIFriday’s but it’s a walk.

I really dislike this place but it seems I am here ALL the time because it’s right across from my Denver gate at DFW. I dislike that there are no food items under $ 10 because I usually just want a snack. They offer a bowl of sweet potato fries for $ 10, as well as a side of them, but I can’t just purchase the smaller side for some reason. What am I going to do with a huge bowl of fries all by myself(solo like most work travelers are)? I had a pretty gnarly burger from here, and not the good gnarly — it was fatty, chewy and gristly with a dry, tasteless bun(same could be said for the veggie toppings). Wine will run you $ 9+ per glass. They do make a good bloody mary and I had one last week for just $ 8.50 and I think it was even a double. It took about 25 minutes though just to order the drink, have it made and then pay for it. Not sure why it took so long. Most burgers are $ 12 – 15 and salads are $ 14+. All of the apps are $ 10+. So overpriced and much larger portions than I ever need. Nothing ever seems that appealing to me. The servers are very friendly but I do hate being captive to this crappy spot.

The food was meh but the service was quick. That’s the important part to me when traveling and looking for a place inside the airport. Just pay attention to me and get me what I need and I’ll be on my way. This place did just that. I didn’t partake in the drinks or beers but from the looks of it they had a decent selection and they offered them up in Texas size portions if you wanted. Me, I know better than to drink before on the plane. I’ll just want to sleep the rest of the day so I decided not to. I had a Sante Fe burger with pico and avocado as a topping. It was OK, not great.

Chili is basic but good. Service was good. My waitress rang me up for a cup of chili, the kitchen accidentally sent a bowl, but she was great at explaining it to me and assured me I wouldn’t be charged the bowl price. The restaurant itself has sporty décor and is pretty clean.

Well, It’s hard to give this place one star, because the food was okay. The problem is that this place is freakin’ expensive. Yes, it’s an airport so you’re paying additional airport tax, but for the quality of food you’re getting, AND the quality of service you’re getting, it sucks somethin’ awful. The first experience is the wife wanted a snack. We’re at the airport about an hour early and we’re lollygaggin’ around waiting for our flight. We haven’t eaten dinner and our flight is at 6:40, so she says, «I’ll just grab a yogurt.» She walks up to the Home Team Express(this is for to-go orders and for the quick grab and go food). She goes up to the register and the lady rings her up. «That’ll be $ 3.24» The wife: «Uh. what? Isn’t it supposed to be $ 1.99?» «No. It rang up as $ 2.99.» The wife: «The shelf says $ 1.99.» «But it rang up as $ 2.99.» The wife: «Can I talk to a manager?» «Yes.» The manager comes out and takes like 2 minutes adjusting the price and says something like, «we just recently changed the prices.» Well thanks for changing the labels and thanks for raising your prices 50%. So then we sit around waiting for our flight and realize that it’ll be another 2 hours before we can eat again, wander about a little looking for a different place and realize we’re basically a captive audience in Terminal E and go back to Home Plate. At this point, boarding has just started so we’re cutting it close. We go sit down in the dining area and when the waitress comes by, we tell her we want the food to go and she points us back to the«Express» side. «Great,» the wife says, «more bad service.» I order a turkey avocado sandwich for $ 12 and the wife gets a cup of chili for $ 5. The sandwich comes with fries. $ 18 and what feels like 20 minutes later, we finally get our food. The turkey sandwich is pretty sad. It says it comes with guacamole, but there’s barely any on there. It’s as if the stuff came in a toothpaste tube and you’re down to the very end and you have to squeeze it really hard with both hands to even get enough to brush your teeth. Now imagine half of that spread on a piece of bread. That’s how much guac I had. It was sad but it did at least hold me over until we landed in Chicago. The chili wasn’t half bad. It comes with a dollop of sour cream and would have come with cheese but the wife asked that it be left off. The fries were pretty good as well.

I’ve eaten here twice in the past month while waiting for a flight. The 1st time, I had plenty of time of the service was super quick! The 2nd time, I waited almost 15 minutes for a hamburger! Food is decent, service is inconsistent.

If I could have given it 2 ½ stars I would have. It’s not terrible like the other reviewers say. Yes, it’s mediocre overpriced food. but what do you expect? You’re in an airport in Dallas. Decent airport food with decent service. Not bad.

Terrible! Ordered a Turkey Avacado sandwich to go. Slimy week-old turkey on stale bread smeared with brown guacamole & topped with 2 slices of cucumber. By the time I walked all the way to the gate & realized what a horrible mistake I had made it was too late to bring it back. Health inspectors take note!

Decent drinks, but overpriced. Lousy food… Had a stale French dip sandwich that was only marginally edible. Airport prices, airport food. Service okay. Incredibly annoying background music.

Airplane food without the plane Awful. I got a rib eye steak that was worse than a Denny’s steak and egg steak. Service was decent, and a soup was decent, but $ 20 for a bad version of a Denny’s steak pissed me off enough to make me want to write a review. A better idea is to eat your own shoe or the strap for your laptop case.
