First time eating at tgif and they crashed and burned. Was greeted when my girlfriend and I walked in, I asked if it was possible to watch the Raiders game on one of their 10TV’s they had. Host said she’ll get the bartender to change it, when our waitress walked up, I asked again and she said sure that she heard the host ask. Bartender picked up the remote and changed all the monitors to a college football game. Really??? It’s sunday!!! I do not want to watch college ball on a Sunday. After a while I figured they weren’t about customer service. Food wasn’t the best, service was poor with the exception of the host(she was very nice). She’s the only star there, my girl asked what she should tip the waitress, I said $ 1. She asked why? I said because they shouldn’t have messed with a die hard raider fan and kept him from watching his favorite team play. With that said, you guys better step your customer service game up and to the waitress you can thank your bartender and yourself for the dollar tip. Could’ve been a $ 10 – 13 tip if you would’ve played your cards right. GORAIDERS!!!

Food was ok… Our waitress Nalley who happened to be training someone sucked and had horrible customer service!!! I will never go there again!

We visited in that rushed way we all do before getting to our flight, sometimes not even remembering what we ate. Well, my breakfast on that sunday morning was fine it was just what I needed before that 21⁄2 hour trip back to Detroit. But most importantly for me it was the customer service which came through big time in helping me to get another receipt after I lost mine after landing. Way to go and big thank yous to Chris and Kristin(sorry if I misspelled) and also to Zach and Natalie in C-term!

Nobody expects too much from airport restaurants but this TGI Fridays, at Terminal E of DFW, is better than a lot of other airport dining options. They have a wide variety to choose from on the menu and I’ve been satisfied with my choices, with one exception. I had ordered the pretzels with beer-cheese dipping sauce but you couldn’t do much«dipping» with the minuscule portion of beer-cheese sauce that I received. And the pretzel sticks were a little overdone.(See pic that I’ve posted also.) Everybody makes mistakes and, although this one started in the kitchen, shame on the server for bringing that out to a customer! She could’ve rectified both issues but chose to just drop it down on the bar and walk away, not making eye contact or communicating at all. I wish I knew her name because she was the exception. I’ve eaten here 2 other times and experienced good service and better food, including the pretzels, which are delicious when done right. And, yes, I will eat here again because I’ve had good service overall.

This restaurant«is located» in Terminal E by gate E17… it is not 3−½ miles away as Unilocal seems to believe!!! This restaurant has a really fun and lively atmosphere, with a full bar, TV’s all around… a great menu of fantastic foods… flawless service… Perfect!!! Recognizing that this restaurant is located within the airport, one can pretty much expect those coming to eat here are waiting for their plane… perhaps speedy service is expected. I was seated fairly quickly… the waitress(D.D.) was prompt. I ordered an ice tea, the petite top sirloin(medium rare), steamed broccolli, and their tomato mozzarilla salad… oh, and I added a cup of french onion soup to start. My meal was flawless… it arrived at the table quickly, it was hot, very tasty… in fact, very very tasty. If I could offer any suggestions, it would be more of a couple comment’s than anything else… first, even on the plane they provide actual silverware… it is difficult to cut your steak with picnic ware… secondly, not everyone likes A1 sauce, some of us enjoy Heinz 57 steak sauce a tad bit more… but the ketchup did a fine job too. I don’t know when was the last time that I had actually dined at a TGI Fridays… I know that it has been quite some time, and it has never been in an airport anywhere. I’m glad that I did. I liked everything about this restaurant, so perhaps it will now be added to my «small, limited, list of dining establishments»… !!! Good food, quick pace, acceptable prices… I will go back… give em’ a try!!!
