Just StringZ

I have gotten my eyebrows threaded numerous times at several other salons without ever having a truly bad experience except at Just Stringz. The first time I went to Just Stringz I felt they were putting excessive pressure on my skin while threading, definitely more painful than anywhere else I’ve been to. But due to its convenient location by my house I decided to go a second time, I went the morning of 8÷21÷15 and was extremely disappointed. Again, an absurd amount of pressure was used, but this time they cut through my skin. When it first happened she dabbed it with a Kleenex and continued, I couldn’t really tell how bad it was cut until I woke up the next morning, the scab had formed overnight and I was quite shocked to see it in the mirror. Never, will I go back to Just Stringz and I would advise everyone else to steer clear!

Chandra always makes me feel welcome and does a great job on my full face threading. She’s very detailed and thorough. She’s patient, too as I struggle to hold skin taut so she can get a better result.
It’s relaxing and I love the feeling afterward. So clean and smooth.

I hate to give a bad review especially since the gentleman that did my brows was so friendly, but I’m never coming back here! I’m a person that has thick hair, including eyebrows. I’ve been working on growing and shaping my eyebrows for about a year now and while I like my eyebrows to be thick, I like the stray hairs to be cleaned up by getting them threaded because it looks neat and polished. I had been going to another place way out yonder in Grand Prairie that cleans my eyebrows up just right without turning them into thin pencil lines, but I decided why not try Just StringZ since it’s in the mall and close to where I live. BAD idea! I always ask that my eyebrows be «cleaned up without making them thinner». I went in with full eyebrows and a few stray hairs and left with thin pencil line eyebrows that look like they’ve been drawn on! Even worse is they charge $ 11 when other places I’ve been to charge $ 8 or less. I don’t understand why some threading places have all these photos of people with thick, groomed eyebrows but then I come out with thin, scary brows after I specifically asked for just a clean up! Now I have to wait for my brows to grow back.

Hadi is very good! Coming from california i had no idea where to go to do my eyebrows and im very picky! I had no choice but to just do a trial in a random place and i chose this one. Im glad it wasnt a mistake. Hadi did a lovely job! Quick, easy and cheap. Dont let long lines intimidate you. It doesnt take THAT long. Im impressed its very outstanding!

Love love love Just Stringz! Both Hadi and Angie are amazing eyebrows artists, they take their time and make sure you get what you want. It can get busy on the weekend, but that’s to be expected and they actually move the line fairly fast. Love this place!

A co-​worker suggested this place, so I stopped in. It was around 11:00am on a Saturday, so there were about 3 people ahead of me, and only one person threading. It is located on the 2^nd floor near Notdstrom and Belk. Threading is $ 10, and you can tip on your card.
Around 11:45, two others came in, and I was helped by a friendly gentleman. The only downside was that I could smell cigarette smoke on his hands, and the smell lingered after I left.
The threading itself was quick… I can’t say painless because it does hurt a little. However I was pleased by the shaping for the most part. I took away stars for the super long wait. I just think there should be more people on Saturday mornings.

My eyebrows were uneven, thin and it hurt far more than the times I have been else where. I will not be returning for another visit. Problem is, it’s the day before an event and I look like a drag queen with how much «filling in» I had to do.
