I love burgers and every time someone tells me about the best burger they had, i go and try it. then if i’m not impressed, I no longer take food advice from them. I judge every burger place by ordering almost the same burger, an Egg cheese burger. the burger was just ok, If Braums had the option to add a fried egg to their burgers, they would be better that the burgers here. they knew how to cook the egg and the burger was messy like it should be. it was just missing the taste to make it a great burger. try for yourself if you want to make sure, if you’ve had serious burgers before, don’t go with high expectations.

I can see why this place has over 900 reviews on Unilocal!Even though I live in Dallas, this was my first visit and was very impressed. My burger was delicious and I added grilled jalapeño’s. If you haven’t been all I can say is GO!

I’m not sure really where to start. I came here with coworkers during our lunch break. We wanted burgers and had heard great things about this place from friends, reviews, and Food Network. Naturally when we get there and there is a long line out the door of people waiting to get in, you get that«Yes this place is going to be goooooood feeling». WRONG!!! You basically are standing in line to be pushed around like a heard of cattle with the owner as the ring leader. So basically you wait outside only to wait inside. While waiting in line to order a guy behind me asked the owner if he could see a menu while he waited. The owner responded by saying: «There’s no point only a few options and you’re going to get a burger anyway». Extremely rude! I guess he was right, the menu was small and they over commercialize their burger on the menu and leave the grilled cheese and brisket sandwiches etc. in TINY letters so you miss that part of the menu. Not to mention again you are rushed through the entire process of standing in line, to ordering, to eating, and Finally being basically kicked out. I bet lots of people rush order and not really get what they want. It’s a very TINY place(also filled with selfies of the owner with celebrities/random people all over the place. You literally can’t look in any direction without seeing his face) and the staff will hover over your tables to micro manage your meal time so they can push you out the door to cram the next group of people waiting to be seated. We finally got to sit down and within minutes were asked to move to another table by the owner so another group could sit where we were. Not really sure why. Now for the food: burgers are pretty big(and expensive$$). I ordered a cheeseburger with bacon and was expecting an amazing juicy greasy burger. While it was SORTOF juicy, it lacked a lot in flavor. There is no taste what so ever. The only saving grace it had was the ranch that came with my tots. I even grabbed one of the cake/whoopie pie things at the front hoping for an awesome sweet treat. Taste like play doh. I’m glad it’s marked off of my bucket list of restaurants I want to try, but will 100% not be returning.

One of the best burgers in Dallas, hands down. Plus, they have tots smothered in cheese and bacon, and amazing fries. 2 burgers, order of toys and 2 beers was $ 30. Well priced, excellent service, interesting atmosphere. Love hole in the wall places like this… and its walking distance from our apartment in the medical district! Will definitely be back.

Maple and Motor has great big bites for not a lot of buck. $ 10 and change will get a a huge ½ cheeseburger with all the fixings and a side of fries or tater tots. To keep things simple the meat can be prepared one of two ways — pink or no pink. The burgers themselves are very homey… and I mean that in the best possible way. You won’t be finding any frou-frou toppings at this joint like sunny side up quail eggs or candied bacon, but the meat is juicy, the toppings fresh, and the bun soft. While the tots looked like they were frozen, they were properly fried and perfectly crispy. While it’s definitely a hole in the wall with slightly grungy décor, it just feels comfortable. If I had to find a complaint, it’s that the juiciness of the burger can get a bit messy… but that’s probably why napkins were invented. If you’re looking for the best bang for your buck Maple and Motor is tough to beat.

Visited this burger joint for a quick lunch. It’s a very intimate establishment, you might even say hole in the wall. I ordered a regular burger and fries. The patty was thick and juicy. It dominated the taste of the overall burger. I actually like a little more balance between the meat and the other toppings(just a personal preference). The burger kind of fell apart and got very messy toward the end. My side of fries was mediocre. However the service was friendly and fast. No big complaints overall. One word YUM! I drive all the way for brisket sandwich and then I wanna go again and again until I have tried everything on the menu. This place is not to be missed in Dallas.

Mmmm. It’s really good. I was a little surprised when the menu consisted of just straight forward hamburgers. The menu seemed almost too simple. It’s also a fairly small, dive-y restaurant. We went on Saturday at noon. The restaurant was busy but not packed. We waited in line to order for about 5 minutes. You actually don’t seat yourself. A man directed us to our table. I got the cheeseburger with all the fixings and then added in bacon. It was amazingly delicious! The bacon definitely added to the flavor and texture. They didn’t use any of that cheap bacon either. I can tell they toasted the bread but I wish they had toasted it more. The juices softened the bread when I was about half way through eating. What I really appreciated was that they chopped up their pickles so they are evenly distributed around the burger. I paid around $ 9.75 for my burger with the bacon added. It’s a little pricy for me but it was worth it. Huge hamburger. I can’t wait to come back! My friend had the tater tots with cheese and chili. I tried a piece and it was delicious. I’ll be sure to get that as a side next time.

Well, I’m not really sure maple and motor needs my help in the reviews, but we will give this a whirl either way. What a hole in the wall. Super small place, easy to miss. I would say the feeling I get from this place would be «comfy». It’s like that old friend that you haven’t talked to in years and you just pick up like its nothing. Let’s talk about the experience. This visit I partook in the cheeseburger(with American and pink in the center) and fries. The burger had, what I want to say, is a sense of butter about it. It was rich, but not overpowering. The richness and butter flavor just lingers for a moment and then melts in with the burger and cheese. You pass by it momentarily, it doesn’t linger and over take the main dish. I liked that. The burger was done just right. I like that they give you the two options to take some of that guesswork out. The fries were not frozen, but fresh. They had a good flavor with a light potato. The outer shell was very crisp, while still being light and not brown or dark brown. There was a layer of salt of the fries that I felt was«just right». I didn’t feel like I was getting grease on my hands or excess salt, and didn’t feel the need to supplement.(I looooove salt, so this is big). The salt wasn’t strong but was just enough to satisfy me. The burger did have a bit of grease with it, but not anything I would say is excessive. Normal burger level I would say. The service was good. No complaints there. My recommendation? Two salt shakers up! Give this one a try if you’re in town.

I think it’s safe to say any guy with a big appetite automatically LOVES maple motor because you can get the biggest burgers that actually fill you up for like an amazing deal($ 6). If you’re looking for a cool atmosphere or unique menu items, you won’t find that here. You order at the counter; the interior is plain but not dirty or anything. But as a burger lover, I have to say that their burgers are a real deal. They don’t skimp on the toppings, and the patty is thick. Kind of greasy and it may be hard to take that first bite, but if you’re looking for a good old-fashioned burger, these will not disappoint! I also tried their tatertots, and while I’m not exactly sure how you could mess them up, they were nicely fried and yummy! Parking is easy — they have a lot right by the restaurant.

I have made it a point to try out every burger joint in Dallas. I know Maple & Motor has been here for a while now, but I have only recently moved back so it is new to me! What a cute little spot. I love the casual vibe here. My burger was so juicy and delicious! Exactly what you look for in a standard cheese burger, although, it did begin to get a little soggy towards the end… I also tried the cheese fries, which did not disappoint! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, clearing tables super quickly as people left to make room for the new customers. Overall, a good experience and I’m sure I will be back soon!

I’ve been wanting to try this burger joint for the longest after hearing so many great reviews from friends. Honestly it’s just another burger too me. You can build it how u want, the customer service is great but again it’s just a burger and I wouldn’t make a special trip from home to get this burger. The burger was fresh, and tasty but I think my friends hyped it up too me

I almost didn’t want to leave a review… I thought this place was going to be amazing. It was so sup par I left feeling like a huge grease ball. Definitely won’t be back :/ The burger was just eh I’ve had so many better and the pork sandwhich was massive with huge chunks of pork. Hard to eat and after a bite or two I just was over it. Plenty of better places in Dallas hands down.

Burger compensated for the cashier’s «you’re bothering me» attitude in addition to the condescending and arrogant conduct of, Jack Perkins, the owner. If you call this place to ask how long the wait is and Jack replies, «we’re always busy» consider informing him that they obviously don’t need your business and he should go back to the trailer park that is reflective of his, «low class» that he extolls on his restaurant’s website. It’s just a burger joint; get over yourself, Jack. Oh, by the way, great job at getting all of your personal friends to write positive reviews. Avoid this place at all measures unless you wish to be verbally abused while spending your money.

This place is definitely on my top five burger spots in Texas. I’ve had good burgers and this one was great. I went for the pink”” meat — because they give you two options — pink or not pink, I didn’t want to risk getting a well done burger so pink was the obvious choice. The fries and onion rings were very good!!! I usually don’t finish my fries but here, they were not completely dry and the seasoning was just on point. The onion rings were just crispy and also good seasoning. GREATJOB!!! The burger, it was amazing, juicy, tender and not bite size. The price is also exceptional and the service is also great. It didn’t take long at all and or burgers were freshly made. I will definitely recommend this place and also will be coming back hopefully with more people. Thank you Maple and motor for this great experience

THEYDE-FIN-ITE-LYHAVEBUNS, HUN. You know you are at the right place when there is a line all the way to the door at 5PM. Maple and Motor has a simple and classic American menu laid out before you. Just order at the cashier and find yourself a seat at this Americana pit stop diner. The burgers come out large and in charge, so make sure you are ready to use both hands and your entire jaw. Now, the food. The Food: Flat Top Brisket Sandwich: MORELIKEFLATTOPBISCUITSANDWICH. When I first saw this sandwich, my eyes drooled and my mouth ogled at the thick slices of crisp brisket that barely fit between the crisp and fluffy buns. After my first bite, I struggled to enjoy another one. The brisket had a semi-crisp crust that enhanced its texture, but was itself dry, fibrous, and difficult to chew… a sin in cooking brisket. Since the brisket was very lean, there was no fat to provide additional umami flavor or moisture to lubricate your mouth and flavor each bite(–1 star). Part of what made it difficult to enjoy was that the brisket/sandwich did not include any kind of sauce that could provide juiciness and moisture to each bite(–1 star). The tomatoes and lettuce kept the sandwich from being completely dry. The brisket had an mild and unremarkable meaty flavor that was not enhanced by flat top grilling. Overall, the Flat Top Brisket Sandwich is missing the life of the cow and the life of the cook that made it. Like I said in the title, the brisket resembles more of a dry, meatless biscuit. Please note if you decide to try this: DONOTEXPECTBBQ and/or SMOKEDBRISKETINTHISSANDWICH. Cheeseburger: THEHEALTHY, HEARTYBURGERYOURDOCTORDOESNOTWANTYOUTOHAVE. Note: If you do not say anything, they will cook the burger patty nice and pink. Maple and Motor have redefined the modern cheeseburger, from greasy and unhealthy to clean, healthy, but most importantly, tasty. The Cheeseburger features a nice thick beef patty with a slice of cheddar, shredded lettuce, tomato, red onion, diced pickles, ketchup, and mustard. What is remarkable was the lack of grease and oil left behind by the burger. I did not experience the feeling of clogged arteries or oversaturated taste buds with each bite. The tangy, brininess of the diced pickles predominates the overall flavor of the burger, but you can still taste the beefy patty, mild cheddar, and refreshing vegetables in the background. The grill-toasted, fluffy bun provides a pillow of bread that controls the beefiness of the patty and balances the flavors of the overall cheeseburger. If you do not like the tanginess, get it without the pickles and expect a richer, meatier flavor dominating the burger. This burger is good for your soul. I can gladly say it reminds me of a perfect homemade burger. Cheese Fries with Bacon: NOWWITH A SLICEOFHEAVEN. You know you are in heaven when you see freshly fried French fries covered in a blanket of real cheddar cheese, with a sprinkling of bacon nuggets. It is the modern baked potato, in a delicious and abstract form. Each fry is golden and crisp on the outside and warm and fluffy on the inside. The cheese contributes a mild saltiness, while the bacon provides a smoky and meaty flavor. Eat a basket or two of these and gain a pound or two… you will not regret it. The Verdict: INCREDIBLEBUNSSERVEDTOYOU. Maple and Motor is the next step up when you finally realize that you are tired of Whataburgers. Their Cheeseburger is larger than life with fresh ingredients and minimal grease(hint: perfect for those New Years resolutions). Be warned, the brisket in the Flat Top Brisket Sandwich is dry, chewy, and without any sauce or remarkable seasoning or flavors. Stick around for those Cheese Fries with bacon. While you are here, enjoy the atmosphere of being at an Americana gas station diner… this is one in a million.

I came in on St. Patrick’s Day, and as expected, it was really busy. A bit too crowded foe me, so just ordered a cheeseburger to go. The menu items look great and there is a good variety. They also serve beer. My only complaint out of the whole experience what is a cashier. Just wasn’t friendly and almost rude. If you know me, you know I appreciate good service with a smile, but maybe she was just having an off day not sure. The cheeseburger which was the only thing I tried was truly awesome. I look forward to try and their tater tots and other items on the menu. Everyone else was really friendly, from the bus boy to the manager/owner as they were both interacting with customers. I’ll definitely try them again. It’s a bit in the hood, but it’s good, try it, you should.(I’m from near this hood, but my feeble rap attempt seems more Dr. Seussish. I blame my kids)

YES! ALLTHEWAY5STARS!!! I cannot believe I am just eating at this place! I got the Flat Top Brisket, and then added a fried egg, and peppers! When this baby came out, even the staff was like dang girl!!! Hahaha! I tore it up! Let me say this, if you don’t get there when they open, just stand in line! Its all good, then turn tables quick here. People just order, eat and go! So be patient! They make you burger right when you order it! So it’s fresh and hot! I will be going back here like this weekend to order the same thing. In addition to that, they have all kind of yummy burgers on the menu. Feel free to keep it just as it or personalize it like I did! So if you are reading this review and order the Flat Top, just note… it doesn’t come like that! So dress it up. And you know, bacon makes everything taste good!!! Yum Yum for a 5 Plus Star!

My «not pink» burger was very tasty and quite large. The Boss ordered cheese fries and those were huge; I recommend eating them fast because the cheese solidifies pretty quickly. I like Maine Root sodas on the fountain. If it were closer, I’d be a regular.

Had been craving a burger! I am soooo glad we found this place. Seriously this is one of the best burgers I have ever had! My #1 fave is Ercoles in Manhattan Beach. This just might be my 2nd fave. Fries were bomb too. I think they cook them in bacon fat– perfect balance of crispy and soft. Jicari is amazing. Great personality and service. My only complaint was the girl w the glasses at the counter taking the orders– they need to get rid of her but everything else was perfect.

I’ve been wanting to try this place ever since I saw it Diners Drive-ins and Dives. The reviews onYelp were great so gave it a shot. Got there at noon on a Friday and only waited in line for about ten minutes. The owners walk around and don’t let you sit at a table until you’ve ordered. I got the cheeseburger and cheese tater tots. The other two got the same thing but fries. It was about fifteen minute wait for our food but well worth it. The burger was amazing. You can tell its fresh quality meat and the bun wasn’t too thick. The tots were great. The owner even walked around and talked to us. He’s a little bit of a smart ass but that’s part of the deal. I speak it fluently so I enjoyed the banter.

I can honestly say that this place has some of the BEST burgers I have ever tried. I have eaten here several times and they never disappoint. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is due to the service not always being«on point» but the food is great. Not sure if they get the beef fresh everyday, but the meat is delicious and so are the veggies that come on every burger. Also the fries are good, but I would suggest that you get the onion rings. They remind me of the old fashion onion rings my grandma use to make me as a kid. Overall, this place is great if you are looking for a good old fashion burger!

Maple and Motor USEDTOBE a great place for a burger and fries. It had been at least a couple of years since I had eaten there last when I pulled in for a late lunch after an appointment at nearby Parkland Hospital. I walked to the Order counter and chatted up the very nice young lady who was going to take my order. Then, it hit the fan. As she asked me how I wanted my half-pound burger cooked I looked down at the counter which echoed the words coming out of her mouth — «Pink or Not Pink?» Well, honestly, I like my beef cooked on the rare-to-medium-rare side, which means pools of blood on my plate. Much better flavor and texture than an over-cooked medium– or well-done piece of beef, in my opinion. But they would have ABSOLUTELYNONEOFIT! There was no way in hell they would cook me a medium-rare — much less a rare — hamburger. I insisted and the young lady parroted back«A Pink ½-pound burger with fries. What would you like to drink?» «No, I don’t want it pink. That’s over-cooked. I want it medium-rare.» «I’m sorry, but I don’t think my cook will.…» At that point, I bid her farewell and hit the door, voting with my feet and my wallet. I drove several blocks away to Hunky’s on the corner of Cedar Springs and Throckmorton. By the way, it was DELICIOUS! And they were happy as clams at high tide to cook my burger the way I wanted it. Here’s a tip for M&M and all scaredy-cat, lawyer-in-your-pocket restauranteurs out there: Make my meat the way **I** want it cooked or stay home in bed under the covers and don’t venture out into the big, bad world where the chance of a customer dying from some nasty bug is less than the odds of being struck by lightning — but greater than being elected president(which is approximately 0.807339449541284%) since 1789. Don’t want to make my meal the way I want it? Fine. I’m more than happy to give my money to somebody who will. But you should post a sign by the front door that says, «This is NOT Burger King. You can’t have it YOURWAY!» Lawrence Standifer Stevens

Got a little worried as I pulled up to this joint, but the parking lot was packed and that is always a good sign for a 2pm lunch. Had to have the burger! I’m a huge fan of the«pink or no pink?» Although I chose no pink, it was one of the very best burgers I have ever had. Finished off lunch with a homemade recipe vanilla milkshake… it was so so smooth and yummy. I loved the quaint décor and everything about this place from the friendly staff to the small batch sodas! I think that the best burger I have ever had was at Maple and Motor! I am not a big fan of burgers, but this place has changed that. The cheese fries are just as amazing. It is probably one of the best managed place I have eaten. I loved the atmosphere and the way the ordering process is handled. It is amazing that such a small place can serve as many people it does without making anyone feeling rushed to leave. This is an off the beaten path place and more than well worth finding. The cheeseburger was juicy and pink, cooked to perfection! And was complimented quite nicely by the large basket of beer battered onion rings and an ice cold glass of shiner bock(available on tap). The juiciness of the burger seeped through the inner part of the bun, and marinated the onion ever so slightly. One of the reasons I love sandwiches, burgers included, is because they are like a work of art, a masterpiece if you will. Each ingredient plays a very important roll; the texture, the crunch, the flavor, the appearance… and when you nail it, it’s like a symphony going off in your mouth. Maple & Motor definitely nailed it. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, what a stand-up guy! The customer service was impeccable and the atmosphere was ideal for eating dinner after a long day at work. I will absolutely be back. I can’t wait to try all the other items on the menu(specifically the BLT) upon my return.

Maple and Motor is the perfect burger place for my boyfriend(who hates hamburgers) and me(who loves them!). I get the cheeseburger, he gets the salmon burger(no joke!), and we split an order of fries — a quick, delicious lunch. When the restaurant gets busy, management always makes sure you get a table, and your food is never ready before you are. The décor is also a highlight. There are photos, signs, and hats in the dining area that make it unique and comfortable, like you’re visiting your trucker grandma. And don’t forget to order your burger ‘pink’ — trust.

I found my cheeseburger soul mate. Old school, fresh ingredients, just enough greasy, straight up cheeseburger. Yes! Yes! Yes! I love the vibe, divvy and comfortable. The place was packed but orders still arrived in a reasonable time. Tots were crispy but not greasy at all.

A lunch after taking care of business at Parkland. We arrived ten minutes after it opened on a Saturday. Ordering was easy and seating was only half full. Yes, half full after ten minutes! The food was brought to our table quickly. We had the tater tots with cheddar cheese, bacon and jalapenos for the appetizer. We received the hamburger and cheeseburger(not pink) shortly after the appetizer. It was freaking huge! Not only huge but delicious. And, by this time the place was packed and there was a line to the door. Granted it is a small place but it seems to have a faithful clientele. I would recommend it to anyone who can appreciate a good burger.

Wow! This is the best burger I have ever eaten in my life… and I’ve eaten a lot of burgers! If you’re looking for veggie or healthy or strange, exotic toppings – don’t come here! This is your basic greasy grilled burger! It’s a huge thick patty and comes with all the basic toppings: tomato, lettuce, onions, pickles, and mustard. You can add a few extras like bacon, chili, etc. I always get all the basic toppings then add bacon and jalepeños! So yummy! I really don’t eat that much so I could actually split the burger and share a side of tater tots and be full! They also offer onion rings and fries which are all delicious. They do sell beer and have good fountain drinks and a few bottled sodas. They usually get packed on the weekends so try off peak times/days since the seating is really limited. The staff has always been helpful and friendly. This is a true meat-lovers haven. Vegetarians and health fanatics STAYAWAY!

Came in with high expectations given all the hype, and, well, I wasn’t disappointed. I’m not a beef-eater, for no particular reason, but once I walked in the only thing I could smell was the essence of cheeseburger. That and what appeared to be a hint of potato fried to perfection. Now normally I’m all for ordering things simple, but this time I went for the all out traditional cheeseburger on the menu — minus the onions(hey, give me a little credit, I am eating cow) plus a side of tater tots. The staff was friendly, with the owner being on hand on a Saturday afternoon. He even struck up conversation with his patrons and appeared to be as much of a staple in the place as the juicy burgers that have gained national notoriety here. Ten minutes later a massive burger arrived(for which you have two choices of ‘doneness’: «pink» or «not pink») complete with cheddar cheese, diced pickles, shredded lettuce and mustard. Plus the tots, DON’T FORGETTHETOTS. The burger was juicy, but not to the point of coating your hand in grease. One bite, and you’re sure to be a fan. Alas, while the burger was divine, the tater tots were from heaven. I cannot stress enough that these are the greatest tater tots that I can ever hope to encounter. Crisp on the outside, warm and fluffy on the inside: perfection. Go. Just. Go.

Maple and Motor is tucked away on the outside of a curve and set back a bit from the road. Inside is a small seating area. Be sure to order your food before you sit down! The beer selection is thin, but with some nice selections available. Chicken fingers are pretty good, and you can get fries, onion rings, or tator tots. One of their specialties is jalapeño bacon ‘tots, so you may want to give those a shot. The soft drinks are Austin small batch, with natural cane sugar, and half liters of Mexican Coke are also available. Overall, it reminds of us of a place back home, and we enjoyed the meal.

I would have never even consider Maple and Motor if not for seeing a segment on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. Guy gave it high marks so I figured I would give it a shot as well. I walked in right after opening and I always like to see the owner sitting at the bar joking around with his employees — off to a good start. Having read several reviews, I chose the bacon burger with all the toppings and the bacon jalapeño cheddar tater tots. I was not disappointed — thanks Unilocalers! The food came out in a reasonable time hot and tasty. The fresh roll was perfectly grilled, the burger had a great taste all by itself, the veggie toppings were crispy and well proportioned, and the bacon — oh the bacon — was as good as the other reviews said it was going to be. I was a little disappointed by the bacon jalapeño tater tots — but I think that was on me rather than M&M. In retrospect — these flavors are just not up my alley. I think I should have stuck with chili cheddar tots, but live and learn. I went with the sweet tea that was fresh brewed with the perfect amount of sweetness, but they had a nice variety of local sugar cane sodas on the fountain dispenser. Make M&M a stop for you when you are in Dallas — the outside might not look like much, but what’s inside is worth it.

First time at M&M in quite some time. I had always thought of them as one of the better places to grab a burger, but for some reason they had fallen out of the rotation. To cut to the chase, M&M is back in the rotation again! Had the bacon cheeseburger, cooked ‘pink’, with grilled jalapenos and french fries. The single patty burger was huge, had great flavor and a perfect char. It was right there with my favorite burger over at OSK. The order of fries would have been easily split between two people. I think they were of the frozen variety, but they were also cooked and seasoned perfectly. Service was efficient and everything was clean(with the exception of some of the caps hanging from the ceiling). Will definitely be back in the near future.

This place is pretty legit, huge burgers with just the right amount of greasy. I am a huge fan of Fred’s Café in Fort Worth but this place might be as good or better. They just focus on burgers and sandwiches the menu is easy to read, you either want a burger or a cheese burger. the list of toppings are at the bottom like bacon, jalapeños, or even a fried egg. You can add on to the sides as well like I got cheese bacon and jalapeños on my tatter tots. Beer is very cheap and reasonable. Not a huge selection on draft but they have a lot of choices in bottle not sure what the prices was on shiner but everyone was drinking it like crazy. Now the parking lot there is not a lot of it so good luck. And the area is very sketchy not the best part of town. Other than that great burgers keep up the good work.

After hearing all the rave reviews about Maple and Motor’s burgers(and seeing them on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives), I finally got a chance to check them out for lunch on my last work trip. Make sure you come early if you want a seat– otherwise, plan to take your lunch to go or wait until seating frees up. I was lucky that my coworkers show up on time, since I was running late as usual and would have been stuck in line for a while showing up at noon on a Thursday. Since they were already at the front of the line, I snuck up there to place my order(sorry, everyone in line that day). I tried: –Cheeseburger($ 7.15
): Yum– this was a very solid burger. It’s not fancy in any way, but the bun, patty, and toppings all worked together really well. My only complaint is that I ordered mine pink, but it came well done. I think they mixed up my burger with one of my coworkers, but it was still really good. –Onion Rings($ 2.50): Nice and crunchy, and cooked well– recommended. –Cheese Tater Tots w/Bacon, Jalapenos($ 3.50, ): Good, but too heavy to go with the rest of the meal. I liked the onion rings better, so wouldn’t order these again. –Cookie Sandwich Thingy: It was two vanilla cookies? with cream in the middle, and it was pretty good. Very dense though, so I’m glad I tried it once, but probably wouldn’t get it again. The staff here is pretty efficient, although it took about 10 minutes for us to receive our burgers and other food. We were lucky enough to grab a booth right away, but I saw people waiting for tables when we left around 12:45pm. I would definitely come back to try their Flat Top Brisket Sandwich and for additional burgers. They have their own lot, so parking isn’t that tough, especially since they have a pretty high turnover, and a good amount of people taking their food to go.

FRESHGIGANTIC burger with YUMMY buns and fresh vegetables! Food: We tried the regular burger(with mayo, tomato, radish, onion — basically everything)(~$ 8), and the burger with bacon(~$ 9). The two burgers are exactly the same, except for the bacon burger had 2 long strips of bacon that actually GOTINTHEWAYOFEATINGTHEBURGER. But the burger itself was good! I loved the buns, which smelled like Hawaiian bread and had a good texture(not flaky like the McD’s). The patties were a little overgrilled in my opinion. We asked them to cook them all of the way through. You also have the option of cooking them halfway. Setting: The location is slightly discrete and the neighborhood looks slightly shady. but since you are in Dallas you will definitely have a car so it’s no biggie. The place is restaurant is pretty casual. You order up front at the register and will get an order number. Once the burger is ready the waiter will deliver to your table. This is awesome for cheap people like me, because you are not required to pay tips(LOL). Service: For 3 burgers, we waited 10 – 15 minutes, which is long for burgers, but considering they are made from scratch. it’s still pretty good. Overall impression: Not bad for burgers! The price is a tad bit expensive in my opinion. I would give this place a five star if they had a special sauce or side that no where else sells.
