MedSpring Urgent Care

This urgent care is incredible. I’ve always had a great experience with Medspring. The staff is always super kind and the clinic super clean. I love the free snacks and drinks too. I came in with severe food poisoning and they gave me medication during my visit to stop my nausea and vomitting. They quickly diagnosed me with severe dehydration and infused fluids in me. David did an incredible job with making my IV quick and painless. He, Tae, Miss Chen and Dr. Vera made me as comfortable as possible and kept checking up on me. Overall an exceptional experience for an otherwise sucky condition to be in. My family and I will only be visiting medspring clinics for my future urgent care needs

I came here because they were open late and I needed to be seen ASAP. Came in, signed paperwork, was taken to the back fast. The tech took my vitals super fast also. It was empty and I was glad I was going to be in and out in no time. Anyway, I was seen by the P. A who was very nice and educated. At the end the tech comes in and charges me a $ 50 copay. I told her I was very sure my copay for urgent care is $ 11; it even says it on my Insurance card. She then tells me that she had someone verify and that the insurance told them it was a copay of $ 50 and I needed to pay it now and then call my insurance and have them send me a check. I didn’t want to argue. I paid and left. I called my insurance the next day, they verified my $ 11 NOT $ 50 copay and called Medspring for me to let them know and to make sure they made notes on my account. I then had to call Medspring myself to get my refund. This is a huge inconvenience as I had to make multiple calls. I was on the phone with MedSpring for a while because he again had to «re– verify» the copay with insurance. Never did they apologize for the inconvenience or explain what happened. I had to ask how something like that happens. He then proceeds to tell me that they were not able to verify insurance info initially because of a possible computer glitch and that they had to charge the $ 50 copay. I’m still not feeling better, and guess what I’m having to deal with instead of resting? This. I wont be back here, if I can’t trust them with billing then I can’t trust them with my well being.

This place was terrific! Very fast, easy, comfortable and professional! The PA Jean Rose was awesome! She was so gentle and friendly. I highly recommend coming here!

I was in excruciating pain (stomach pain) and I came in ONLY for them to tell me to go another hospital. OH and then they had the audacity to charge me $ 50 for literally being there for five minutes.

Called on a Sunday morning just as they opened. Got in quickly, and was taken to a room after filling out the usual paperwork. Tech/​nurse came in for vitals, etc. soon followed by Dr. who told me «Just tell me your symptoms. Don’t be trying to diagnose yourself, that’s my job! «. At 59 years of age and having suffered dozens of respiratory infections, I’m pretty much 100% accurate, but o.k. And guess what, yep it was a sinus infection, as I suspected. Got steroids, antibiotics, the usual and went on my way. The positives, fast service, clean, convenient. Negatives, the Dr. s manner re: self diagnosing (no need to be rude about it Doc), but I’ll get over that. However, after 10 days of antibiotics, taken exactly as prescribed, infection comes raging back. A couple days later I call, as I would at home, to tell Doc the antibiotics didn’t completely rid me of the infection, at which point my Dr. would prescribe and call in a different drug or do another 10 days because sinus infections are hard to get rid of. Not Medspring! The receptionist informed me I would need to come back, «because it’s been 2 weeks». So I explain that I was on the antibiotics for the full 10 days, so yeah. Then I ask am I going to be charged again for what is really a recheck? And she outright laughs at me! Seriously!!! So again she says, well its been 2 weeks. Ok. After several more minutes of frustrating arguments I give up but no, I’m not going to waste more time or pay you again for not curing me the first time I came in with a relatively simple concern. Had the follow up been reasonable, friendly, etc. I would have given a decent review but I have no time for businesses who take your money, don’t fix the problem, then want more money from you to keep trying. Medspring, you fail!

My husband and I are so glad this MedSpring opened up right by our house. We have both gone to this location for various sinus/​respiratory infections and allergies and love how clean and fresh the facility is and especially how fast we are checked in and see a nurse and doctor. All staff are very professional and listen to your symptoms and recommend a treatment/​medication. It is so much easier and efficient than going to our PCP especially for cold, flu, viruses/​infections etc. Thanks for making us feel better fast MedSpring!

Called in advance to make an appointment and in/​out in less than 45 mins! Nurse and doctor were excellent. Very attentive, nononsense, straight to work, but friendly as well.
Highly recommend!

My manager sent me home for the day because she could hear me coughing all morning. Called my regular doctor who was booked and couldn’t squeeze me in. From check in with Jess and RN Ivy I was in a room and having my vitals taken within minutes. They brought me hot tea and the tv remote while I waited to see Dr Hastings. He was very professional listened to my symptoms and answered all my questions. I was on my way within 40 minutes! Will definitely be back. You guys are awesome!

Normally, I wouldn’t think to review an urgent care on Unilocal but these guys deserve some kudos. While I was struggling with a horrible bout of strep, they took great care of me. I was in and out in very quickly and everyone was so nice and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised. Keep up the great work!

I would highly recommend this location to anyone. I am new to the area so I don’t have established doctors X cetera. The location has very cool architecture and the inside is clean and professional. The staff Jess and Dr Carcia were very friendly and took the right amount of time to help me with my health issue. The front office staff were professional and offered snacks or a drink and even a blanket. This location went above and beyond my expectations.

I can not believe I waited so long see a doctor! This was so simple and easy and everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful.
I suspected I had bronchitis and it was confirmed. It’s now October and this started in July. If you are thinking it is too much trouble or you are afraid of long waits and uncaring staff at urgent care I suggest you try this place.
The doctor gave me my prescriptions and checked for contraindications with other prescriptions. By the time I got to the drugstore my prescriptions had already arrived and were being prepared.

Best urgent care I’ve ever been too — quick, courteous and welcoming environment. Staff was friendly and efficient. I’ll be back.

I had a earache, sore throat and sinus pressure. The doctor told me drink water and eat plenty of fruits and vegetables for what was obviously an infection. That night I awoke to excruciating pain and blood coming out of my ear– my eardrum had ruptured. I went to my real doctor the following day and she said that it worst ear infection that she had ever seen. I find it hard to believe that it looked much different the day before when it was checked by MedSpring and can’t imagine how fruits and vegetables would help at all.

Surprisingly, I was actually really pleased with my visit here to MedSpring. I had a «oh shit» moment and then headed on over on a previously uneventful Sunday evening. I had seen MedSpring on my drive to yoga and to uptown often so I knew exactly where it was located. They’re kind of hard to miss right off of 75 and Knox/​Henderson.
I walked in and handed my paperwork, I.D., etc to the guy at the front desk as I desperately looked for an outlet in the waiting area. Why? I had family visiting me in the next few hours and needed to keep my phone alive in order to be a sneaky little ninja. When I asked about a free outlet I could use to charge my phone, I was immediately escorted to a suite so I could use one.
Unfortunately there was a bit of a wait because there were several people ahead of me. About 40 minutes later, a nurse came in to take a vitals. 20 – 25 minutes later, the doctor dropped by, gave me a pretty quick diagnosis, and gave me instructions for treatment. He was apologetic about the wait time had even mentioned that it was taking longer than usual today. Heck, as long as I got out before my family was nearby, I was fine. 15 minutes later, the nurse came back to help me wrap everything up.
The visit was relatively painless, the staff was awesome, and I was in and out within an hour and a half despite the lag that day. I was able to stealthily see my family without them being suspicious of anything and my injuries are actually healing up pretty nicely.
I would definitely recommend this place, especially if you’re trying to be a sneaky ninja.

I have been to quite a few urgent care facilities before and this is one is great. Only thing I don’t like– The phone line they use is generalized, so I usually have to repeat myself quite a few times so they understand what facility I’m trying to go to. I recommend just being a walk-​in. The Dr’s I’ve seen here have been very helpful. They’re quick, informational and attentive. I was in and out within an hour. I definitely recommend Medspring for your urgent care needs.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Was in and out in 20 mins. with a Rx and a shot. Love the late hours (9:00pm) of operation. All other urgent care centers in my area were purportedly closed when I was seeking attention. Only down side, they didn’t take my insurance…

Well where do I start,? This place is not for me, it llooks great, it’s clean and new. The staff is equally as friendly as the staff at the Parkland we shared no eye contact, they are paper pushing robots. The place was completely devoid of patients… Yet I had to wait 20 minutes to see a doctor, who seemed rushed. I went in for a splinter on the bottom of my foot, he took a quick look at it, and said I can’t help you. You need to see a foot doctor as it has turned into a plantar wart. So a few minutes later the nurse comes back in and asked for a 40 dollar insurance copay. I spent 100x more time here filling out paperwork and waiting around than I did with a doctor. Who was not able to do anything. They billed my insurance an additional 200 for the cost, of the visit, which they paid 180, horrible — worthless Medspring, sent me s bill for $ 20 For the absolutely nothing that they did. Save your money, visit a real doctor.

Centrally located and easy to access off of 75, this new location is convenient for those who want to be seen quickly. I came here since it’s close to my apartment and I thought I was dying. However, I was misdiagnosed. Which isn’t a big deal since I went to my PCP the next day anyway but picked up some unnecessary meds. Might be a big deal for people with more serious conditions… I was in and out within 15 minutes. The «suites» are nice and everything is new.

Woohoo! This was as good as it gets! In fairness, I haven’t been to an urgent care in Dallas before, but I’ve definitely been to them elsewhere. Like the time I broke my toe on the beach. On vacay.
I walked in (no appointment), handed over an ID and insurance card, filled out a one-​page form, and sat in a chair that was way more comfy than it looked. A few minutes later, I was shown to a room and waited in a love seat (a little too low to the ground, IMHO) with a TV, a remote, and a list of stations. A few minutes later, I explained my issues to the nurse, had my blood pressure and temp taken, and was asked about my preferred pharmacy. A few minutes later, the doctor and I discussed my symptoms, he poked and prodded, and he told me his diagnosis and solution. A few minutes later, the nurse returned with the doctor’s written instructions and a request for payment.
In and out in under 30 minutes! The people were very nice, the space was nice, and everyone was knowledgeable. The only downside was that I didn’t get very far in the book I was reading.

This place looks friendly just driving up on it.
The outside and inside décor is hipper than most bars and lounges. This is kinda weird. Oh well, I guess you do what you have to do to get people in.
I called and got an appt the same day. There was zero wait time when I went in. And there were three people literally standing at the desk waiting to help you as you walk in. This is for sure a big change. I’m used to having to beg for help and a smile.
The doctor was nice and seemed fairly knowledgable. I would recommend this for something minor.
