Do not give your money to this business! I purchased a groupon they were offering and tried several times calling, leaving voicemails, scheduling online and even going to their office to schedule an appointment and was NEVER contacted. When I went to the office no one was even there! I’ve contacted groupon about this issue and have received no assistance there either but I wanted to make sure that no one else made the same mistake I did. I’m beginning to wonder the legitimacy of this business as a whole. Who knows, maybe they have a good excuse… Ebola, the second coming of Christ, or a really extended vacation… or maybe they just really suck at running a business. Questions that will never have answers because no one exists to answer them.

I purchased a Groupon for $ 29 for a 1 hour massage a few wks ago. I used mapquest to be certain I knew where they were located which is basically across from Central Market at Lovers and Greenville in the old Meadows Building. I arrived in time for my appt. however I couldn’t find the suite because there are no directional signs so walked the entire floor, could not find the suite and then called the business and it went straight to voicemail so no help there. Turns out, there are 2 bldgs. side by side and I was in the wrong one(the one on south side) so ditto the entire floor walk around to find the suite(it’s the north bldg.). Upon arrival, I was handed a clip board to complete new patient information which is routine. I was already 10 minutes late so the receptionist said I could fill it out when I finished. Then discovered the therapist wasn’t quite ready. I asked the receptionist if I would get a 1 hour massage being late and she said yes. When I met the therapist, I asked if I would get a 1 hour massage and she said yes. It was a 45 – 50 minute massage. I am not one who enjoys deep tissue massages(everyone is different) and the therapist softened it up when asked with no problem. I specifically requested focusing on my stressed out upper back and shoulders and she worked on that the majority of the appt. so would give her a 5 for listening to a patient request. She was good with moving the lumps and bumps out so I would give her a 4 star on that. Her overall techniques could be improved and the lotion she was using didn’t work very well which affected my review along with the other comments. I could have asked if she had an oil or different lotion but I didn’t so I’ll accept some fault there however, she should know better. She needs a better music source like a Bose or something comparable. The room has a giant window and the table is about 4 ft from the window and the blinds don’t do much to keep it dark/. Her nose started to run and she was coughing from time to time which concerned me because we’re in the middle of flu season and I didn’t get the flu shot. When I turned over on my back, I decided to ask if she had allergies and she said she did… and went on to say if she were sick she wouldn’t be working. Bottom line is she listened to my request and helped alleviate a lot of stress in my upper back which was good. But there are things she needs to work on. I would have given her a 3 if I had the full hour massage.

Although Amy is friendly, and had a clean room to provide a deep tissue massage, she left me feeling more tense and aggravated than when I first arrived. I was stuck in traffic and called the office twice letting them know that I would be about 10 minutes late. My appt was for 6pm, and I got there at 6:10. The building was locked for security so she came down to get me. When I got up there she had me fill out paperwork because I was in a chiropractor’s office. Finally at 6:25 she took me into the room, had me unclothe and get on the table. She had on the most obnoxious music that just never made me relaxed. The lights were bright in there, and she was rather too rough for me even when I told her to lighten up. She was not consistent with her technique and I felt as if was getting beaten. She never rubbed an area longer than a couple of minutes(it seemed like) and I was right. When she claimed she was done, and left the room for me to get dressed, I looked at my phone’s clock and saw it was ONLY7:09! The Groupon deal I purchased for this OolaMoola is a sham! It stated I was supposed to get one full hour massage and all she gave me was about 35 min. I was floored when she came back into the room and said I can leave a tip on the table. I will NEVER see her again nor recommend anyone to visit that office. I don’t care that I was 10 min late. I let the office know and I am a paying customer! Horrible!
