Going out of the country, so needed some shots. Ugh. Hate that. I had a couple weeks to get it done, and figured the litany of shots I required would best be accomplished from a specialty place instead of working with a doctor’s office. I read some negative reviews about pricing, and customer service at other locations. But since I didn’t see an alternative decided to give them a go. Called for a next day appointment, was emailed a medical form to fill out online and submit. Then at appointment time, I went in. The office is small, a 1-person operation. They space out the appointments at this location, I was the only one in the office besides the nurse, Charlotte. Charlotte discussed the various vaccinations based on my trip destination, asking me about my shot history and travel specifics. We arrived at the conclusion I needed 5 shots. bummer. I got the shots and paid. Not sure they take insurance, probably not. The specific pricing was shown to me just before I got the shots. Frankly, an improvement would be to have a price list on a wall so you can see how much it is before you spend 20 minutes on admin stuff. I mean, why wait to tell me? But that’s my only complaint. Charlotte was excellent, and despite me being a big chicken, made the 5 shots as painless as possible. I even got 5 band-aids(and 2 sore arms later). I would recommend this location when you need travel vaccines. Quick, easy, effective. The cheapest option? I don’t know, but not the priciest based on my calls to other clinics. And frankly, the convenience makes up for any of the price differential, if it even exists. So I say well done. I will be a repeat customer.
