Quigley Heating and Air

I called Quigley’s to service an apartment attached to our garage. I couldn’t get the A/​C to turn on. The repairman arrived and found the unit working. I showed him what I did to the thermostat and he said I was doing everything correctly. He then decided to inspect the unit and found some other issues. I was charged 138.00 for suctioning a line, new filter for 39.00 and a diagnostic charge of 39.00. I wondered if I needed this or he was looking for problems, whatever. The unit stayed empty for 3 months until a friend moved in. I can’t turn on the A/​C again. I called Quigley’s since they didn’t fix it the first time. The dispatcher told me this time there would be an 86.00 diagnostic charge. I told her he was coming to do the job I asked him to do the first time and they shouldn’t charge me. He came and found the thermostat broken this time. He replaced it for 249.00 and charged me the 86.00 for diagnosing. He should have done this the first time. I called to complain and the dispatcher said she’d tell the manager and I have heard nothing back. Next time I’m calling anyone but them.

Quigley was very quick to respond to our ac not cooling. We had a 30 year old system and decided to replace the unit. They were very prompt and did an excellent job. It was installed and up and running in one day! I would defiantly use them again.

I had an issue after the service had been completed and paid for, and Jeff was the utmost professional in how he handled my concern. He quickly fixed my issue, and he was a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend them anytime.

Scheduled for cooling inspection special in March. I asked what it included and was told that it included all necessary AC checkups. Upon arrival, technician told me it didn’t include outside unit cleaning; nor many other important checkups. He stated that those would cost twice as much to do. Called their scheduling agent and was told that was correct but gave me a $ 10 discount for not informing me of that. That worked out ok.
But then, two months later, our AC unit stopped working and called to see if they had any guarantee on their work or at least send a technician to check it for free. Of course they didn’t and wanted to charge just for the «inspection»
That’s not the customer service I was expecting. Not using them again.

Best service all the way from their customer service to sales and technicians. Amazing work every time. Recommend them to anyone.

My mom had an issue with her heating unit when the temperature dropped to 38 degrees. Quigley arrived quickly and diagnosed the problem and fixed it within two hours. Quigley then performed a full system check and the unit has been running perfectly ever since.

My air conditioner was leaking from the ceiling when it was turned below 79 degrees. Quigley first came out to service my unit on a Saturday. One of the many frustrating things about Quigley is their inflexibility with their windows of service times. The only option they provide on a Saturday is 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. so our entire day was going to revolve around when Quigley may show up during that 6 hour time span.
The technician came at 9:30, did some work to the unit, and left telling my husband it was fixed. But as soon as my husband turned down the air conditioner, it immediately started leaking again. Called them back to inform them they did not fix the issue and had to speak to the technician, customer service, and the service manager to be told they needed a certain part that they wouldn’t be able to get until Monday. The service manager even saracastically told me that «they didn’t have a warehouse on wheels» when I demanded they return on Saturday to fix the problem they never fixed in the first place. Funny how the technician originally left saying the problem was fixed and now the story is that a certain part is required.
Same technician comes out at 4:00 on Monday. Can’t fix it. Tells me it’s a pipe issue and that all the pipes need to be replaced because their copper. He’s talking about removing sheetrock at this point. It has now been 5 days since I originally called Quigley regarding this issue and I still have a leaking conditioner… that can’t go below 81 degrees… in July… in Texas. Then tells me he can’t tell me when they’ll be back out since the scheduling office is closed but assures me I’ll hear from someone the next day.
Next day comes and there has been no word from Quigley at 3 p.m. Call them and the customer service representative actually says to me «we don’t know how to fix the problem or if we can fix the problem». Tells me she’ll have the service manager call me. Service manager never calls but the customer service representative calls back and tells me they’re now going to send a LEAD technician over to take a look at things because their other technician is just a maintenance technician. Tries to give me a window of 8-​noon or noon-​6 p.m. When I ask her if they can come to our apartment first since we’ve had so many issues, she actually tried to tell me that wouldn’t be possible. But when I reminded her of how frustrated I was, they made arrangements to get someone here at 8:00.
Lead technician comes out. This is now the 3^rd attempt at fixing the problem. He says it’s not a pipe issue at all but that the pan is rusted. He’s also able to temporarily fix the problem until we can get a new pan. So I’m able to run my air conditioner below 81 degrees in July in Texas without a waterfall in my hallway. I do want to say this technician (Brad) was great. Took his time and knew what he was doing. One week later, Quigley was finally able to do something about the problem.
If you took the time to read this forever long review, I hope that it was worth it and that you’re convinced to find another company besides Quigley. I will never use Quigley again due to their horrid customer service and awful communication. Oh, to top it all off… there was not once an apology.

I called them this morning for AC service and was told we could be seen between noon and six with a 30 minute call. Sure enough, I get a call at 11:45 and Ray was here in 20 minutes. 30 Minutes later we have cool AC. Great response and will be my first call for any future AC needs!

I have used a many HVAC companies over the years and my conclusion is that this is a hard business to get right and the industry is full of people who will sell you more than you need and always blame the previous company. The Quigley group won’t sell you more than you need and if they get something wrong they make it right. I have also noticed a lot of improvement over the last year in their scheduling and consistency. In general I think most of my friends don’t take good care of their equipment and wait until their are issues to service their HVAC… yet they don’t do this to their cars. Anyway get a service contract, put the dates in your calendar, schedule regularly and save yourself a lot of $$$.

Great service, they are fast to respond and very efficient! Had our furnace worked on And I loved it! Not only did they do a great job but also have very affordable and reasonable prices! I would recommend them to anybody living in Dallas!

These guys were GREAT! I honestly could not have asked for a better customer service. Everyone, from the person I talked with on the phone to the AC/​heating specialist that came out to my home were polite, haste to get out to my home, and there to answer all my questions and concerns.

Quigley was the best! On time and professional. They provided awesome service and I highly recommend them!

Had a great response from Quigley during a summer emergency in which the AC stopped working. Turned out to be a gecko short circuiting the outdoor unit! Based on this, I took an annual contract with them. The technician wasn’t so pleasant, and when he found an issue that required a part, I scheduled a visit and stayed home during the work day for the installation. They showed up two hours late without the part and with no apology. When I called to try and reschedule, they were equally unapologetic. I just called to schedule my semi-​annual service and was told my contract was expired, despite the fact they’ve only been to my house once and no one told me I was at risk of expiration. Very disappointed by the lack of communication and service an will be taking my business elsewhere.

We recently had to replace our AC/​Furnace. Quigley personnel was very professional, did an accurate assessment and installed the unit on time. They were more expensive than other bids but we felt it was more important to have quality and professionalism when spending so much.
