Rainwater Heating & Air

These guys came out to my house to pre-​inspect the job for a major disaster of a tree falling on my house. While they were here, I asked them about problems I was having with my air-​conditioning compressor outside. It did not work and had nothing to do with the tree falling on the house. They were courteous enough to go out and take a look at it, I walked outside to find out how much it would cost and they had already fixed it for no charge. The problem was explained to me, apparently A spider got into or between some contacts. Needless to say the air-​conditioning works perfect now, I was shocked when he didn’t charge me. These guys went above and beyond the call of duty, if I ever do have a Nother air-​conditioner problem these will be the first people I call, and I highly highly recommend them.

My AC unit stopped working last night, so I called Rainwater H&A today to see if they could come service the unit. Before I could even finish my request, the lady who answered the phone was very rude and abruptly told me that the unit couldn’t be serviced until next week at the very earliest. Then she hung up on me. So rude! I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company! Not even worth a phone call. Try Ragsdale Heating and Air instead. They were at my house ONE HOUR after my initial call to them. Such a better company!!!

I’ve said before I favor locally owned businesses if possible. This is another great example. Family owned and run by father and son. We usually have several opportunities each year to use their services. We get multiple bids on the big projects and Rainwater has always been competitive in pricing and supplies high quality machinery and workmanship. On the small projects, it’s just a given that we call them.
The only downside is that in our experience, they work mostly in West Cobb and Paulding. We have asked them to do work on a house in the Winston/​Douglasville area and they have not chosen to travel that far. Oh well, we have an alternate vendor now. Thanks Rainwater!
