This is the place to go for a scooter! Hands down. I am extremely impressed with the customer service here. Particularly Alex, Diane, and Mike went above and beyond for me.
I bought my wonderful used 2009 GTS 250ie here a few weeks ago and it was in like new condition. Used pricing with only 30 miles on it! Quite possibly one of the best purchases I have ever made. They helped me through every step of the purchasing. Assisting me in the financing in such a painless manner I could not believe I just financed a vehicle. No waiting around, signing form after form, going through representative after representative like with other dealerships. They took care of a good 90% of the work for me and before I knew it the scooter was mine.
Unfortunately this model did have a fuel pump recall on it, causing issues after a couple of days driving pretty regularly. Both the service and sales teams were more than willing to help me out and responded to my email the very next day letting me know I was covered under the recall. They were even willing to assist me in getting it there! To make things even better the repair was done, fully covered by the recall, the very next business day! Talk about quick service!
Working for Apple, I know keeping the customer happy during an unfortunate repair situation is very important. I can say without hesitation that Vespa Dallas has impressed this customer. I will be returning to this location for all of my future needs from oil changes to possibly buying a second scooter. Keep up the good work over there!

I love this shop! The staff is very friendly! I bought my piaggio mp3 250 from this dealer and the salesman help me a lot to make a right choice. They held my scooter at the shop until I was ready to ride it, after I passed my riding course. I received detailed hands on instruction on different features of my scooter and even supervised ride in the parking lot near by. :)
Today I had my first service appointment and it went very well. Additionally I asked Mike to replace OEM windscreen with one from GIVI witch I purchased online. According my estimate, it took at least 15−20min to do extra work but Vespa Dallas did not charge me anything! :)))
I thing other dealership (auto and moto) should take an example from Vespa Dallas on how to conduct the business and acquire long term happy costumers.

I love this place and the people here. My husband got his Vespa here and we love riding it everywhere and saving the gas! If u live around here go get a scooter today! It’s fun and Dallas weather is not bad when u get scooting around. Thanks to Randy and Alex for finding us the perfect scooter.

I’m gradually becoming a customer here, thanks to my recent purchase of a friend’s Stella. It has been serviced at Vespa Dallas, so the staff knew the scooter well before I came into the picture! Though my personal relationship with this shop has just begun, the transactions have been nothing but courteous — in fact, Diane contacted me directly to let me know that the helmet I was interested in had arrived in my size, ready for an event the next day. Everyone’s fantastic, plain and simple.
Even better? The shop hosts events throughout the year, and is clearly happy to invite their family of customers along for the fun. A true gathering of like-​minded souls, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of it. Stop by, and see what I mean!

I love this shop! My husband and I both bought scooters here in August of 2012. In the time we have had them, we have had the opportunity to see several different aspects of the business.
The purchase: Neither of us had the least idea about scooters, what they cost, what you need to drive one, maintenance, the different types and which would be suitable for our needs. We went in on a whim. The staff was excellent. We talked to maybe three different people in as many days, without any pressure, and received the same high quality service from each. By the time we left, the first day, we had a good idea of what it would entail to buy a scooter. Vespa Dallas had a great variety of new and used scooters, as well as a variety of sizes in weight and engine. We both found several that we liked, even though we wanted greatly different things.
It could not have been easier to buy them either. We found the two we wanted Friday, took the class that weekend, and had our licenses Monday. Since we had to wait until after work hours to buy them and get them home, we were on a strange time crunch. No problem. Vespa Dallas worked hard to get our scooters ready to go and even waited after hours for us to pick up the last one.
(I noticed that someone complained about the difference in posted price and out the door price. I found that the staff was VERY upfront about the difference. It was one of the first things we were told about. The other dealerships we went to for non-​Italian scooters had very similar extra costs.)
Mechanical service: I got a chance to deal with the service department when my Scarabeo was stolen two weeks after I purchased it. There was enough damage to keep it from driving and cosmetic damage as well. Of course, I had it taken to Vespa Dallas for repair. They did an excellent job here too! Everyone I spoke in this department was so friendly, especially when I am sure I called way too much! They worked with me and my insurance company every step of the way to make sure that my scooter was repaired to look like new again, while trying to keep the estimate low enough that the insurance company would not total it. This was a real concern, and I could not have been happier that Vespa Dallas helped keep this from happening. They saved me about $ 1500 by doing so! Not only that, but I was able to pick her up the day after my parts arrived. I really appreciate how quickly they worked.
We just went in again this Saturday to have something adjusted on my husband’s BV. Even though it was a busy day, they took it back and fixed it on the spot. Everyone in the back is just as friendly and helpful as those in the front.
Extras: Oh, the extras are where they really made me a loyal customer. The day after my scooter was stolen, I was distraught. I thought I’d drive up to Vespa Dallas and get some sympathy. Of course, they served up plenty. Not only that, but since my Scarabeo was the last one they had, the owner reassured me that if it wasn’t found, he would call every store and warehouse around to make sure I got the exact same one. It turns out it wasn’t an issue, because partially in thanks to the store, I got mine back! A shady shop called looking for keys for my scooter. They collected the VIN number from him, kept him on the phone, and got as much info as possible. Then they informed the police, who picked it up and brought it home!
This group of people really seem to enjoy scooters and want their customers to do the same. If you browse around their website or Facebook page at all, you’ll see they host a lot of events such as group rides, a St. Patrick Day parade watching party, and other fun get-​togethers. They sell quality vehicles and do so with a friendly, pleasant attitude. I love this shop!

I visited Vespa Dallas many times during 2012 until I finally decided on a scooter. Each time I came in a salesperson was there to help and and answer any questions I had. No pressure and was able to take my time and look around. Received a few follow-​up emails from Alex, the sales manager, asking if he could be of any further help.
Their website is updated often and I finally found a used scooter I wanted in December. Went in and got a fair price for my trade-​in and got a good deal on a used Buddy 150. The mechanic spent a few minutes with me discussing the service schedule and Alex made sure I was familiar with the scooter. The whole process took just over an hour.
I’ll be back for for servicing and the next time I want to upgrade.

After having won an online contest through Vespa Americas, I worked directly with Vespa Dallas to pick up my beautiful prize = a brand new shiny red Vespa. From our 1^st communication to my MANY follow-​up questions, throughout the process Alex was so helpful and prompt in attending to all my needs.
When I arrived in Dallas to pick it up, it was set-​up in the store and Alex gave a very thorough rundown of everything I needed to know in order to drive and maintain it. The rest of the staff was very friendly and supportive! I can not say enough good things about Vespa Dallas! And there are no certified dealers in Oklahoma, so I may have to make trips back down to Dallas in the future to shop and/​or service the scooter. Out of the way yes, but I know I would receive quality service so I won’t mind it! Thanks Alex and team — I love my new scooter! :)

I don’t care for this dealer at all. A few of the staff are helpful, but most are snotty, elitist. I bought a bunch of accessories from them and when I got to the counter, an older woman who has a look on her face like she has been constipated for the last five years says to me, «you realize that helmet costs $X?». As if I were a bum who couldn’t afford it.
And the service department act as if you are bothering them when you need service or parts.
I am just going to ask around for someone to service my Vespa. Maybe Moxie scooters, grapevine Honda already said they couldn’t.

This place seems like a good idea at first, but be weary! They are the main dealership in Dallas so they have compete pricing control. 160 $ for an oil change? I got a flat. Had to have it towed to my apartment because they are closed Monday. I had to wait til Wednesday for them to order me a new tire. They didn’t get the 65 $ tire we talked about instead I payed 175 $ for my flat… The customer service is terrible and the workers are lazy and rude. I would recommend Dallas Power Sports for any servicing with your scooter @ walnut hill and Harry Hines.

Vespa Dallas is THE Shi*. About 2 months ago I called over to get an OTD quote on a new moped. They were more than helpful, even just over the phone, and didn’t badger me about coming in or up selling or anything like that. Consumers these days do a lot of online research prior to making large® purchases, so the whole «let’s get you in here thing» is really more of a gimmick and sales pitch. This isn’t the 50’s, and while Vespa Dallas does have a lot of retro mopeds, they don’t have a retro way of selling them to you.
So I received my quote almost instantly and immediately called over to ask them to hold the scoot for 20 minutes. I raced down there and they made the whole process super easy. I drove it off the lot next day. Fast forward a week. I absolutely loved the Buddy 50 I picked up, but found that I was looking for something with a little more «umph» to it. I emailed them, just curious about the trade-​in/​trade-​up policy and they were ridiculously accommodating. Needless to say, I traded in my less-​than-​a-​week-​old scooter and upgraded. I already am making plans to upgrade to the Blur 220i in late fall and I know where I’m getting it from.

I have stopped into Vespa Dallas a couple of times to pick up gear and make some purchases to support this local scooter Dealer. I already own a scooter. I’m a member of the ReadySteadyGo! scooter club and Randy (Owner of Vespa Dallas) has been very supportive of the club and even come on a few rides.
For me, it’s one thing to sell quality scooters, new and used, and offer repair services and parts. Vespa Dallas does this very well with their friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable associates. It’s another thing to support local clubs through generosity and connecting needs together. Vespa Dallas does both of these very well.

I’ve stopped in this shop several times over the past few years as I toyed with the idea of buying a scooter. Anytime I stopped by the staff was always very friendly, helpful and low pressure.
Finally in Jan ’12 I bought a gently used Vespa. I’ve stopped by several times the past two months and just love this place! Both of the stores salespeople are great, Diane and Alex. They have a great selection of new and used (including vintage) scooters. Everyone is very knowledgeable about scooters and very helpful with tips, suggestions and ideas to make your scooter and scooter experience the best it can be!

First, let me start out by saying that the sales rep I dealt with at Vespa was great. He was friendly, low-​pressure and informative. I would have liked to have bought a scooter from him had it not been for the dealership as a whole.
My biggest complaint is that they run the dealership like a car dealership. Mainly, HIDDEN FEES. They were running the Buddy 125’s at $ 400 off, bringing it down to 2,299, which I was thrilled about… until I asked them the out the door price. The price jumped to over $ 3,100 when I was quoted the out the door price. Sales tax, title and registration I understand– that’s part of the process. Where they get you is their «preparation fee». I’m assuming that since sales tax and title and registration will only run about $ 350 at the max, that their «prep fees» come out to about $ 500. Given that other scooter dealerships I’ve investigated do not charge a «preparation fee», I am going to assume that that is $ 500 worth of pure profit into their pocket, thanks to their smoke-​in-​mirrors game.
I ended up getting my Buddy 125 at a dealership in Colleyville (yes, I know, the drive sucks– but it was worth it) for $ 200 off list, but no «prep fees», only sales tax, license, registration and inspection. I ended up saving about $ 400, which is funny when you remember that Vespa was taking $ 400 off the list of the Buddy.

I’ve taken my Vespa here twice and they have really taken care of me both times.
They are very honest and do great work. For instance, my Vespa died a few times on me while waiting for the traffic light and I had to walk back home pushing my bike. I am NO mechanic and had no idea what is wrong. I took my scooter here on Saturday and they saw me right away. Yes, they charge $ 80/​hour (which is the NORM anywhere you go) and it turns out, it was a simple problem. A new spark plug and cleaning my carb was it all took, he then charged me $ 40.
He could have EASILY made up some stuff and charge over $ 100 (which I was prepared to pay), but these guys are really honest.

Yes, it is true they charge $ 60 to change a tire. Do you realize the work it takes to change a rear tire? You must remove the engine and tire just to change it. Just like a REAL motorcycle!

Before you guys ever buy a moped consider the operating expenses.
For instance, they charge $ 40 for labor, charge parts for oil change for a whopping $ 83 for an oil change.
Another example, tire change, $ 60 for the tire and $ 60 for labor.
If you buy the moped from them and they are the only act in town and own the the Ft Worth Vespa too, they do not budge on the price one iota. No room for bargaining unless you got your Vespa used like me.
Make sure you learn how to change your own oil and tires (all these how to do things are on Youtube) or budget for it. Don’t get me wrong, I love my Vespa and it really is a chick magnet. I thought a Porsche was but I get girls always asking to ride with me. I think it is analogous to the cute baby or puppy factor. Go figure… women.

So I’ve been shopping around for a moped for a few years now and finally mustard up the courage to actually get one, and boy am I glad I went to Vespa Dallas! From the get go Mason, the sales rep, was super friendly and very willing to help out a girl who needs almost everything repeated twice, sometimes even three times, especially if you get all motor technical with me.
I felt comfortable asking all my silly questions and even more comfortable when I would re-​ask the exact question because I had spaced out during the response. Mason, the friendly sales rep, would just smile and re-​answer with no frustration in his voice whatsoever, it was AWESOME!
I didn’t exactly purchase the fine Italian scooter known as a Vespa, what I purchased is a close cousin known as a «Buddy» which gets 100 miles per gallon… I KNOW!
