I’m very picky when it comes to dentists. I recently starting seeing Dr. Tuck and am very impressed with his service. He took the time to address my concerns and very patiently explained my options. During the procedure, he explained what he was doing and did not seem to be in a rush. The hygienist I saw at the office was also very good. Highly recommend!

Absolutely phenomenal service from everyone at this location when I had a tooth emergency during a vacation in the area. If I lived here, I would use this dental office without hesitation. Everyone was genuinely friendly and fit me in to their schedule last minute. I couldn’t have asked for better service. Highly recommended!

No wonder why he doesn’t have any review! I’m warning you people, if you want to be treated like garbage by the doctor HIMSELF, go ahead!
I’m so mad I can barely believe what happened.
I knew Dr Tuck a little bit, I knew it was a dentist so when I had an emergency, I called him, he said «no problem»
I have a gap in between my 2 front teeth and since I have a VERY a IMPORTANT TV interview I had to close it ASAP so I look good the day of the shoot…
He knew the producer was paying half with me, so he made me take the x ray, do the mold (all done by his assistant, so far I never had to directly deal with him).
Then he’s telling me that there is 2 options: going to Monterrey see another doctor (because he obviously doesn’t know what he’s doing) to make a perfect color match, or he will do a bonding of those two teeth with filling. I 1^st took that option.
He then scheduling me few day after (we are now a week from the TV shoot).
I leave, I make it home when the doc called to make me come back to do a color match???
Really? Don’t you think it’s best to think about it WHILE i’m at your office???
So here I am, driving back, we do the color match (again, not him, his assistant), and I ask him roughly how much it will cost me… since the assistant was in the room, he was hesitant to answer and said we’ll discuss that later…
He then pulls me to the side of the door who brings in the parking lot and says: it will be 3000 $.
I didn’t react right away cause I didn’t even know what to say, 3000 $?? That’s enough to pay breathes for month!!!
So I’m calling the producer and she says «3000 $, when I called different office they said anywhere between 250 and 800 $ depending on how many layers we need to fill», so here I am with this producer who’s know thinking I’m trying to scam her since she has to pay half for it, I’m calling back dr Tuck to have an explanation of why and how it can be 3000 $, and here he is answering by TEXT MESSAGE:
«OMG, I’m over this whole thing.
I’m done, go ahead and find someone else, seriously I’m not over charging you the 3000 $ is for porcelain veneer which we are NOT doing. Good luck, I’m done with this.»
Can you believe THIS???
I mean WOW!
So, just for piece of mind, I called a few offices myself, you DO NOT used porcelain veneer on a gap that won’t hold it, a crown needs to be made, it’s 1200 $, the right technique is resine composite filling which are between 300 and 750.
So I text him back telling him that I called other office and they all come up with. The same type of prices but nothing near 3000.
He then texted me back:
«„I wasn’t doing veneers idiot (when he just said he was right before), I was doing composite, get your English right (by the way, I’m French with an accent), I quoted you the veneer price at the Monterrey office (WHAT…) and by the way, who ever you are getting those infos from is an idiot, stop wasting my time.“»
I WAS STUND, not only he wasn’t going to use porcelain, but it was trying to charge me DOUBLE of what porcelain should of cost!
I’m literally disgusted, I really want to cry, this was the opportunity of a LIFE TIME and this might compromise everything I worked for so far…
But not only he tried to get a LOT of money, he then try to make you feel guilty and stupid.
He’s BUSTED, he is not a good dentist since he doesn’t even know what he’s doing, or if he does, then he does a great job making you believe he’s NOT.
I can’t believe the lack of respect, lack of professionalism I just witnessed.
I’m not in a very compromising situation because of this, all he had to say when I called him out is blaming it on everyone else, even on my French!
