Fast, quality service. The owners of this place are absolutely amazing in their skill and technique. What impressed me most was the fast turn around of my nuptial inserts that I got printed in thermography. I came in on a Sunday, and considering Monday was a holiday they were ready for me to pick up on Friday.
I would totally recommend this place for their cute goods and their quality in printing. They could practically make anything you’d request, just give them a sample!

I nevered heard of Lobella Gift shop until I noticed it in Westlake Shoppng mall a couple of months ago. Their store is located a couple of stores down fron ShengKee Bakery.
I was a HUDGE fan of driving to the Marina district, which there is a very nice stationary store and great customer service (I will not mention their name).
Lobella has the same sort of vibe with the exception, I beleive it’s a husband and wife team that own the store. They are both very nice, I really like to engage with the wife because she is very knowledgable about the items/​products the store carries. She give an honest opinion when asked for ssistance when your conflicted within your own decision making. :)
The store carries a variety of things, card, stationary and many more fun items! You find yourself inside the store longer than you expected… that is a promise! You will also buy more than you intended to!
If your not in the market to purchase, just stop by and look around it’s fun!
It’s nice to be able too shop in your iiving are at a «mom and pop» store.

I love lobellas. Such a place of sentimental curation. You can find special little artisan cards and gifts hand-​selected by a warm and thoughtful owner, and the price is right.

Great selection, friendly and helpful disposition. the better alternative to the very generic Walgreens, target, ext. The prices are at the same price. Highly recommend this store.

I love this little spot! The owners are delightful and the stationary is extraordinary. Who knew there was such an amazing small business right in the middle of the Westlake shopping center, which is otherwise all boring chain stores?
It’s worth noting that this place is NOT Papyrus — they are way more unique, work with artisans all over the world, and really bring the flavor of a small unique shop versus a franchise/​chain operation. I will be back!

This store has many varieties of cards, wrapping paper, wedding invitations, assortment of ribbon, and gifts.
The owners are very nice and helpful.

A very cute little stationary store with neat finds and a most helpful owner.
I rushed into Lobella a couple of weekends ago on a Sunday, needing a greeting card and a couple of gifted wrapped while I was on my way to a dinner gathering. I know, I’m a procrastinator through and through.
The owner must have sensed my stressed out mental state, because not 1 minute after I had set foot into the store, she kindly approached me and asked if there was something specific I was looking for. Relieved, I gladly took up on her offer, and told her I was looking for a quick wrapping job with some tissue paper and ribbons.
She was so helpful and artfully assembled some tissue papers and ribbons to tie together the gift items. Magically, the gifts turned into something lovely and something I was proud to give away.
The kicker to this story is that as I was about to pay, I realized that I had forgotten my wallet at home. I offered my cell phone as collateral for me not paying and promised to return, but the owner said no worries, and trusted me to return with payment. When I finally came back 30 minutes later, she felt extremely sympathetic towards me, as I was now running late to my dinner and was even more stressed out than before. She ran up my purchase right away to make sure I could run out the door as soon as possible.
I was so frantic I didn’t ask for her name. But yeah, a super kind lady who saved the day for me. Hopefully the next time I visit her and the store, I’ll be calmer.

Wonderful stationary store! I made my cousin’s baby shower invitations and needed nice envelopes for the invites in a pinch. I Unilocaled nearby places after I made the invites and after a few very unhelpful people at other stores, I called Lobella and the owner was very informative and had exactly what I was looking for. When I came in he was so helpful and nice!!! They even have a letterpress in the back of their store and can make custom invitations/​cards. I will definitely come back here for all my stationary needs!

This place has consistent 5 stars for a reason.
It’s very rare that you walk into a store and feel completely at ease. I walked into this store after taking my pup for a bath at Unleashed. Before we walked in, «I asked, ‘Can we come in?’» The owner was so nice right off the bat and said, «OH OF COURSE! Thanks for asking.» It was like walking into Grandma’s house. She was so welcoming. It’s hard to find a dog friendly corporate store because there are all these «rules» they «have» to follow. To avoid that, I thought I would just run in this store and get the items I needed.
What a great gem hidden in Westlake Shopping Center. This store has all you need for any occasion: cards, toys, trinkets, novelty items, gift bags, wrapping paper, fancy tissue. And the prices are comparable to corporate stores. They don’t jack up the prices at all. The store itself is reminiscent of a Papyrus but not as corporate and is much more welcoming. They had just the wedding and engagement cards that I need.
I can’t get over how nice the owners were. They played with Pepper and helped me find the cards and gift bag I needed.
This is a great store that is dog friendly and welcoming. P. s. They will be getting dog treats soon so your pup will be treated special as well.

Wanted to find some unique (read: pretty and fun) Christmas wrap – you know, an alternative to the see-​through crap one finds at Target these days – and sure found it here! You see, I’m a bit of a gift wrap snob (okay, I may have been Japanese in a past life; sappuku is warranted for anyone seriously considering store-​bought bows with sticky backing [yes, I’m talking about my mother…]): I believe each gift should be uniquely wrapped… and hint at what is inside.
I did notice they have wrapping sheets for just about every occasion your little heart could hope to find – yes, even for that hard-​to-​shop-​for coming-​of-​age pastel-​colors-​and-​Paul Frank-​loving transgender girl’s Bat Mitzvah.
Shop here and you’ll maintain your reputation as a world-​class wrapping aficionado. Good tchotchkes, too!

I come here everytime I need to get special cards for special people in my life. they have all sorts of cards from all kinds of celebration or even for just a simple yet elegantly crafted thank you cards.

I love this place. It has all the cards you need — all occasions. Blank cards? They have that too! Cute cards and wraps. They also have some stuffs on sale at the back near the wrapping papers !!
Even though it takes me forever just to get one card (I was confused which one to get), the lady was so nice and friendly.
I will definitely come here again if I need wrapping papers. They are all so cute and nice. The price isn’t bad either. It is worth it!

Clean and organized.
Beautiful stationery and little knick-​knacks. After three weeks of seeing itty bitty Boo, I finally caved and bought it here. This place had the best price for it $ 12.95. (Most places have it for $ 14.99 and Amazon has it for $ 13.95, plus tax).
I also purchased a little coin purse, with a hamster on it… «I’m a little short» Yep, love puns!
I’ll be back here for more window shopping.

Everytime i come here i find super cute items. They had some audrey hepburn journals the other day and i told myself to go get it. Luckily i got the last journal! They have some sales here on their cards from time to time. What i love about this place is that they have cards from local artist. So you can find handmade SF cards here, if it doesn’t get all sold out. The staff here is always helpful and very knowledgable. They also sell wrapping paper here and ribbons for a very reasonable price.

Owners are absolutely lovely and are so helpful… we got there and I explained to Nancy that my budget was little like microscopic compared to others, there was no judging, no awkward faces just genuine help. She immediately sat us down gave us books that would be in our price range and through out our visit she continued to show us cards and difference designs, how we could save money and print them on our own. She was great! — We ordered our invitations and Nancy was in contact with us every step of the way. I had absolutely no worries and trusted that they would take care of everything. — They made this process so easy, honestly I thought this was going to be stressful, but it actually was the easiest thing — Invitations came in yesterday — picked them up, absolutely beautiful, couldn’t be more happy :) Thanks!
While i was there last night I took a minute to look at the other collections they have, cute cute cute! Need a card for any occasion come here!

REVIEW FOR RIBBONS
This place is a RARE gem. As you walk outside of the store front, you might think it’s one of those cheapy card stores but if you actually look at the material and designs, the quality of the cards is almost like papyrus or papersource.
I was so surprised to find two panels of a large selection of ribbons. I’m obsessed with ribbons right now because I can’t seem to find the right color at Joann’s, Michael’s, at fabric stores in San Francisco until I went to the Ribbonerie and SF Flower Mart (Floral Syndicated).
At Lobella’s, there are many colors and thickness of ribbons. They have the 3 inch to ½ inch ribbons. I was looking for satin ribbon and gros grain but they did not have it. They only had the shimmery ribbon.
I give this place 4 stars because the owner was very nice. He talked to me about how he use to be the distributor for the ribbons and cards for papyrus and she even knows the owner for the Ribbonnerie in San Francisco.
The prices I saw this week ranged from 1.25 to 3.25 a yard. At the Ribbonerie, it definitely costs $ 4 to $ 10 a yard.
Ribbonerie is a great place to look for ribbons but if you aren’t fussy with what color ribbons you are looking for I think you should check out Lobella’s as well.

I discovered this place one day when I had to run an errand at Westlake Shopping Center. I love it! It reminds me of Papyrus, except that it’s independently owned by a husband and wife. I got a chance to chat with the husband, and he was very friendly. Interestingly, he told me that he and his wife used to own a Papyrus store, but when Papyrus started to hire and use the services of an in-​house design team rather than import a lot of their goods and started to mass-​market their cards, the business started to suffer, and Papyrus had to shut down a number of stores. He also said that Lobella is how Papyrus used to be when it first started, importing a lot of stuff from Europe.
They even have Ugly Dolls for sale at this place! Gotta love that :0)

I have never ever ever noticed this place! A wanted to get a birthday card for his mom so we stopped by. I love looking through card shops so while he hunted for a card, I was poking through everything and found the 50% card box. Score! I found two very cute cards for 50% off. And then I found these other cards that weren’t very expensive to start, but was buy one get one free. And THEN, I found these cute gift tag/​cards that were mini Japanese fans. I ended up getting two of those. I ended up totally getting a deal on everything and plan on returning when I need more cards.
The place reminds me a lot of Papyrus, except it’s not so big and corporate. It’s owned by a husband and wife. The husband wasn’t there when we went in, but the wife was and she was extremely nice and even apologized for ignoring us because she had been talking to a friend when we first came in the store.

The owners are so kind and helpful! For my cotillion (18^th birthday), my mom and I bought a lot of ribbon and envelopes for my handmade invitations.
This place is neat and has a lot of your stationery needs!

First, the owners are SO nice. They are a beautiful couple, sharing their personal lives and stories about paper, and trips to places. You just don’t get that anywhere — the way they treat each and every person in the store with love and care.
When I am purchasing a card, browsing invitations, finding notecards, gift wrap, I like it to come from the heart and their service makes the act of giving a thought, a gift, a simply lovely experience. I will never store rolls of dusty gift wrap again.
Plus they sell beautiful umbrellas.

I came in today because I needed a pretty card for my gf. I walked by here a few days ago when I went to Dai Ichi and Lobella had been on my bookmark list since. I walked in and was greeted by the nice owner. She made sure I got what I came in for. There are so many pretty cards and pretty wrapping papers in this store! I didn’t even want to leave but I knew I had to because I know I would have made a big hold in my wallet.
They had cards for new born, birthdays, weddings, thank you cards, and much more! There were more than 30 different types of wrapping papers to choose from. I think I’ll be back more often if I ever need pretty wrapping for the special people in my life. RIBBONS! Omg their ribbons are so so so nice. I can’t seem to get enough of this place. This place is a gift wrapping heaven!
