Meet the Business Owner
Kevin B.
Business Owner
I’ve been passionate about gardening since first growing Geraniums from cuttings on the deck of my childhood home in SF. Growing up in the city, I was always fascinated by the little garden edens people would create in their little city backyards. I would spend hours in our backyard digging and moving plants around. What most people regarded as weeds, I would arrange in garden beds. Centranthus, Impatiens even fennel and Oxalis; I would dig up and arrange whatever would grow. Mom showed me how to take cuttings and how to sprout Avacado seeds in a mayonnaise jar. We couldn’t afford buying plants so that opened up a whole new world.
Then came City College in SF and apprenticing with other landscape contractors over a 20 year period before becoming a licensed contractor myself and starting up Maximum Service Landscaping, Inc.
I’ve been a board member of the SF Bay Area Chapter of the California Landscape Contractors Association since 2003 serving as Chapter President in 2007.
