My husband & I stopped here for coffee along our road trip journey. Nice lil café, pretty busy, good coffee, and staff was okay. But where’s the cobbler? They had a few Twilight memorabilia in the corner, which was cute.

Nice little home cooking place! Home of coarse to the Twilight Saga and the official Twilight Fan club tour book to sign:). I sat exactly where Bella sat with Charlie for Dinnners.

I’ve been there three times now and I SO want to support the small business BUT… The service is insanely slow, we were treated like an inconvenience but they certainly had no problem bonding with their ‘regulars’.They have gotten my order wrong every time and I am seriously wondering how they pass inspections. The place is not clean in the slightest. The last order they got wrong even after we went over it twice and I emphasized heavily how I wanted my eggs(offered to correct but I didn’t have another 40 minutes to wait) So I was told they would ‘knock a few bucks off’ since I barely ate the meal. The ‘few bucks off’ amounted to about 65 cents. And yet I tipped over 20% because I’m not an A-hole. The only time we were thanked was upon leaving by the person who was cooking that took THATLONG to make ridiculously easy breakfasts. Biscuits and gravy and a damn egg sandwich. How can you screw that up? They might want to think about putting some more gravel in the parking lot too. I’m sorry, but I think they rely on the ‘A couple of scenes of Twilight were filmed here’. Never seen the movies, don’t care. Go to the Carver Hangar. They never cook my eggs right either but at least the service is great.

Great food. It’s very close to where I live. I’m definitely coming back. Corn beef hash was what I got with side of toast, eggs, and sausage links:). A little part of twilight was filed here makes it a little cooler.

I wasn’t sure what to expect after reading so many negative reviews. Our waitress was really nice. The food was good and we got our food in a reasonable time. When I went go the bathroom I did see a few Twilight dolls from the movie like someone’s collection but thats all.

At the Carver Café a roadside café in beautiful Damascus/Eagle Creek Oregon. Family run. What you can expect is diner food at reasonable prices. They may not have everything on the menu, but that is okay. We had the patty melt and blt which were great. Service was matter of fact.

The food was very reasonably done diner food. The pancakes could be better(they should do them from scratch– so cheap, easy and delicious!) and the French toast was meh. The gravy for the biscuits & gravy is run of the mill. It’s always a shame when diners don’t do these really simple foods as well as they should. Even with the average pancakes, french toast & gravy, I would give this 4 stars and be a regular because of its location, better than average bacon & properly cooked eggs… But the service! Oy! When we got there we were not greeted even though the head waitress was 10′ from the door. She was at a table but within a minute or two we should be greeted with a, «Good morning! We’ll be right with you!» There is no sign saying if we would be seated or if we should seat ourselves. There were a number of 6 tops with only 2 people at them. It’s a very small place; a 6 top can be a 4 top in a café like this. If people are too freaked out about sitting with a chair between them & a stranger they can wait for a 2 top. You’re closer back to back in either case. Just really dumb to have 2 parties of 2 standing out on the drizzling doorstep(no place to wait) when you have a solid 1⁄3 of your seats empty. When we saw 2 people leave I went back in to sit down but was sent back outside! She made us wait on the doorstep while she got around to SLOWLY wiping the table down. We should have been allowed to come in. It didn’t get any better from there. She forgot 2 things that we didn’t get until after asking & ½ way through our meal, our orders were mixed up(put on the same plates so we had to scrape our orders off into the small plates we were given), we waited for 20 minutes for our check(and a to go box) and only after asking did she tell us we would not be getting a check that we should just come up to the register… SO bad. She was obviously well known to the regulars. She asked very unobservant man when he was going to hire her at his golf course(who does this while on the clock? And where people in the complete opposite wall can hear?!) and he said she could rollin his deli concessions next season! Ha! Good luck with that one buddy! The shy blonde young lady who was obviously treated as beneath the main waitress SHOULD be trained up and promoted! She was FAR more aware of all the tables, friendly and professional. I could not hear her yacking to everyone the whole time & she was the one who made an attempt at actual customer service. The condiments(salt, pepper, jam & sweeteners) were also all almost out or out. From scratch pancakes, rockin gravy & better customer service could get this a 5 star rating an quite the following now that their Twilight ride is over.

I went with the expectations of entering the café with advertisements from the Twilight movie everywhere but to my pleasant surprise the Twilight movie seemed more of a side note and did not take away from the actual aesthetics of the café. What a cute little place to eat at!!! The coffee is fantastic! The food reminds me of breakfast my grandma would make when I was a kid!!! Love it!!!

We love CC! Had the meat lovers omelette with a side of cottage cheese for lowcarb. They serve Pepsi brand too! Didn’t see the movie but that angle is great. Thanks

Good food. The service can be a bit slow, but, I think it’s more of a «go and read your newspaper while you sip your coffee» kind of place.” The berry waffle was good, but, not as big as I was expecting and did not come with any sides, so, I was still hungry. Also, the berries were definitely not fresh, so, that was kinda disappointing, considering we live in an area with an enviable abundance of berries in all varieties. My husband got the burger with ham and pineapple(the Hawaiian, maybe?) and it was good(and good sized). We went for brunch on a Saturday and it was a bit crowded, but, not bad. I think if we had been a little earlier, there would have been fewer people. All in all, we will probably go back. I’d like to try some of their yummy-sounding lunch or dinner options.

It’s tiny, the food is pretty good, sometimes there is a wait, the table set up could be better. BUT the biscuits are the mother-loving end! I buy them all summer long to bring home– which always gets me a confused look from the staff– cut them in half, put ice cream, fruit, cinnamon, whipped cream and chopped nuts on top. I call first to make sure that they are out of the oven. Baked fresh! Amazing!

Okay okay. I have to admit that the movie Twilight is what brought us here in the first place… yup here is where they filmed the scene where Bella and her father were having breakfast together… now this is your typical roadside diner type place which honestly, the food snob in me wouldn’t normally give a chance… but we did… I didn’t want be one of those people who just took pics of the spot shown in the movie… the place was your basic old fashioned diner… with a local clientele that seem to have been going into this place for decades… which was kinda cool… you’re not going find fancy culinary vocab in the menu, no fufu coffee drinks, but you will get nicely cooked hashbrowns… overeasy eggs cooked perfectly with the yolk still flowing so you can dip you’re buttered sourdough toast… and finish it off with a nice big slice of ham… did I mention the FRESH chips… YUM! Enjoy a BLT and the grilled Ham and Cheese sandwiches which were also delish. So, Twilight fans, don’t just go to take pics… plan to have a meal as well… you’ll most likely enjoy it.

The only reason I’m giving three stars is because of the fact that a portion of Twilight was filmed here. I know, pretty cliché right? When my friends and I go camping, we usually head out past Estacada. While camping this past Summer, I got a little tipsy one night and announced that I would be stopping to eat at the Carver Café on my way home. My friend decided she wanted to go with me. Fast forward to our arrival: Once we parked, I basically ran inside like a silly Twi-hard(that’s a word right?) only to abruptly stop and see what was really going on. It was tiny inside, I figured that much just from driving by, but it was really tiny. There were also a couple of waitresses that stared me down with bitch face– and I’m not sure if it was because I looked like a dirty, homeless bum from camping all weekend or what. But it rubbed me the wrong way. My friend and I chose a table in the back towards the bathrooms, were brought menus and coffee and we ordered within just a few minutes. There wasn’t much«Twilight» anything in the restaurant. Once I got over that, I just decided to enjoy my visit here. The food was meh, my over-hard eggs were cooked over-easy, the toast was flattened, almost like it was smashed? lol. And the home fries were barely cooked. The prices were OK. I actually think they were a little on the pricey side for a divey breakfast joint. Not the worst breakfast I’ve had… definitely not the best either.

Sure agree about the terrible service. My wife and I went there and made to feel like we were very much an ‘outsider’ Very unfriendly waitress and slow and indifferent service. Food was only so so. Will never be back, nor should you.

Are you Team Edward or Team Jacob? Of Twilight fame, this is the little café from the movie where what’s her name’s dad, who is the cop, eats breakfast. Yeah, I saw the movies and admittedly read the books — but can’t remember any of their names now lol. I might also add, that had nothing to do with the reason we first ate here and continue having breakfast here. Turns out, our friends who grew up in Happy Valley, OR had breakfast here many times — well before the movie even came out! So, it’s always been tradition to have breakfast here while we’re in town visiting. Food isn’t anything spectacular, it’s your typical greasy spoon but when you’re super hungry, it’s pouring rain and cold outside and there isn’t anywhere else decent within 10 miles, it’s pretty darn good! I give them 4⁄5 because service and food has always been good and it is what it is.

Good food but service was awful(stuck-up even). I guess they just don’t care since they know Twilight fans will be there no matter what. So, sux it up and eat your food. Sigh!!!
