Discovery Counseling Center of San Ramon Valley

My name is Miho Byrns and I had Elizabeth Gottford which I absolutely adored and loved! She was very sweet and very very helpful. I improved so much within the last couple months I was seeing her.
However, unfortunately the receptionist did not make me feel welcomed. I feel like the environment should be very comforting, and genuine. I felt as if the receptionist (a female
in her early 20’s, with dark hair) was a little rude and impatient. That is not the environment you want to set for patients coming in with possible mental health issues. For someone who deals with anxiety and occasional episodes of depression, the last thing I want to feel is as if I am being judged, and treated less than. Not sure what it was that bothered her about me but I did not deserve that kind of childish behavior. Had to take away one star for that one… very disappointing.
