There’s really not that much to say about a Smog station… California has one of the strictest emission laws in the whole country, and you are required by law to smog your car once every two years.
My two years were up, and I dreaded the day I had to get it smogged. But it had to be done.
Jason was a great guy. He’s really friendly, honest, quick, and the rates are affordable! Not only that, but we had a great conversation about cars and life.
With my student discount and Unilocal check in, I paid $ 57 total!
tl;dr: Come in expecting for smog. Makes new friend… oh yeah and my car passed.

Great and quick service. This is my fifth time visiting. Each time it is quick and a couple of times I scheduled appointment on Saturday.

I came here 15 minutes before closing because I really procrastinated on getting my car smogged. They accepted me, and they got it done super fast; I ordered food at Redrum and they were done before I got my food. The man working there was very friendly and courteous. Highly recommended!

Came in on a Wednesday afternoon around 1 to an empty office. Guy behind the counter greeted me and I asked him if I could get a smog check for registration renewal. Showed him the Unilocal check in discount for $ 15 off and he threw in a student discount for an extra $ 5 off.
He was finished with my car in less than 20 mins. Ended up paying $ 55.
It was my first time doing this so I don’t know how prices compare, but this guy was quick, there was no hassle and my car passed

I am very disappointed in this place after reading the reviews online I thought this would be the perfect place to go especially after finding a coupon for this place online. They either outright ignored my coupon or they were trying to scam a college student with very little money to begin with. I ended up paying a very unreasonable price for a smog check.

DO NOT GO HERE. I WAS TRICKED BY THE CONVENIENCE AND ENDED UP PAYING FOR IT IN MONEY I DID NOT HAVE.

I brought in two cars over two days and had great experiences both times. Aggie Smog was very fast, no appointment required, and had very reasonable rates ($ 55 base with coupon on website).
This may sound weird, but I’m looking forward to getting my smog checked again in a few years!

I was there at noon Saturday, as was at least one other customer, but a sign on the door said «CLOSED» even though I had first checked the website, which said open until 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays. The coupon I carried said the same, as did the sign on the door — next to the «CLOSED» sign. It also said «Back at 8:00» I think not. Tomorrow is Sunday and they’re closed then.
Not a good way to do business. The other guy went to another shop, and I will too.

Took my car here two days after a engine tune up. When the technician (Jasen) checked it, he explained me that it was not ready to test and explained me the reasons why he couldn’t test my car. Came back a few days later and they check again (with no extra charge). The staff was nice and friendly to me and the people that came in at that time, the test took around 20 min and I got a student discount. I recommend this place.

Two years ago got my smog done at Jasen’s shop and he has done repairs on my car as well. So when smog was due again my first thought was to go to Jasen’s shop and get it done since i liked the service provided and trusted him with my car. Today i walked out of his shop filled with disappointment and confusion. Jasen denied to service my car with NO Reason provided. I asked him why wouldnt he service my car? He said personal reasons. I found Jasen’s behaviour unprofessional and rude. I believe that he should provide me with a valid reason and an apology. Just wanted to share my experience today with the returning customers and the future ones.

Well priced and fast service, that is if your car passes. I wish I could just pass already but I have to change my spark plugs before I go back otherwise it’ll just Fail again. California Sucks with their laws on autos.
