This must have been a decent theater in its time. You really can’t expect them to update when they have movies priced at $ 1.00(before noon Monday-Friday), $ 1.75(Tuesday’s) and a low price of $ 3.00 everyday. The place is always decently clean when we have gone. The concession stand I a bit scary, not sure I could or would recommend eating there. I would eat at one of the many restaurants close by! The one recommendation I would make is to update the seats because they are quite worn down.

The Danbury Dollar Saver is everything I want a second-run theater to be. Great location, good selection of movies, smallish theater spaces and great prices! The lobby is stocked with the greatest video games and entertainment devices from the 80’s and 90’s, and might I add I have the all-time high score on the air hockey machine! The popcorn and drinks are moderately priced, and refills are free on large-sized purchases. The tickets were cheap — $ 3 each, and the employees were pretty friendly! The seats were comfortable, the screens had good clarity and color for second-run films, and the previews were not unreasonably long. From now on, when I’m in Dayton, I’m rocking the Danbury Dollar for my movie nights!
