This place is ok. Just good for a quick lunch. I like the variety on the menu as with all coney islands. One good thing is that they have tv’s. Their food is ok, I remember I had to send my food back twice they forgot to add cheese and for some reason frying hash browns hard was an issue. So I left that time but I came back. This place is good for typical coney island meals omelettes, salads, gyros etc. Never ever get their grits they are just hot water and instant grits, if you plan on eating them immediately be ready for a grainy hot water experience. This could be because I got them to go but still not good.

Food is very bland for the price. I’ve eaten here twice and have been disappointed both times. The first time I ordered a typical hamburger and fries and it tasted so cheaply made. Like microwaved food as one reviewer said. The next time I tried the turkey club with a side of fries and again it tasted so bland. The fries are the thin plastic tasting type. Payed 11 dollars for it which would’ve been worth it if it actually tasted good. Tastes like a 3 dollar meal. I won’t be coming back here again.

I’m not sure about the other reviews. But I had a really sweet server. She was very kind. And came to check up on me a few times. The food wait was okay. I had a half pound southwestern cheeseburger. Let me tell you– this was amazing. Loved the cheese and spice. Just add a bit more ketchup. My husband had the fish and chips. Wasn’t too oily. Just perfect and crispy. Since its 24 hrs/7 I plan on going sometime soon pretty late night when I’m craving for a late night cheeseburger. It was ok this time. Just disappointed I got stale fries with my fish and chips. The southwestern burger was great still.

I used to come here often with my father, and sometimes with friends. It offers good Halal options, and it basically has everything you would expect from a Coney Island. The servers are kind and attentive, and the place always looks pretty clean. Breakfast: the eggs are okay here, I usually order them over easy and they come out cooked well. The omelette on the other hand I do not enjoy, it is dry and the ingredients taste low quality. They are very generous with their serving of hash browns, which are crispy and delicious. Lunch/Dinner: The turkey club sandwich is very good. It is a double club sandwich with turkey, turkey bacon, and other toppings. It’s tasty, cheap, and filling. The chicken finger wrap is also tasty… sometimes. There have been a few times when it just tasted off. The crispy chicken salad is another good option. It is a pretty big salad, and it comes with a boiled egg on the side. Don’t come in here expecting the best diner style food. Expect average food at a great price.

The guy taking phone orders on 10÷27÷15 was so lazy, every time i call in he was putting the call on hold. I came in to order eventually and saw he doing the same for all call-in orders.

Should have read the reviews this place is a poor excuse for Leos I purchased 3 gyros and 1 corned beef sandwiches for myself and others man what an embarrassment fist let me start off with the worst gyro I ever had in my life these gyros where made with that prepackaged thin sliced meats they only put 3 to 4 slices on the sandwiches then they drenched them with this thin so call cucumber sauce that just looked awful diced tomatoes and onions and now the people that I gave the others sandwiches to are looking at me like really do you hate us that much to give us some mess like this I said I am sorry and that tiny corned beef on crack sala(PUBLICSERVICEANNOUNCEMENTSTAYAWAYFROMTHISPLACE)

This was my first time visiting this Leo’s location, I’m usually a Kerby’s gal but I had a «10% off» coupon so, why not?! Well upon walking through the doors I was very impressed with the décor, it’s updated and appears clean. The parking lot was full so I took it to be a positive sign. The waitress quickly approached me and I ordered with ease. She brought my iced tea with lemon – delicious. Then came my food– the Lemon Rice soup is the main reason I frequent ANY coney island establishments so the bowl of soup was plentiful but in comparison to Kerby’s the chicken was M.I.A. Disappointing to say the least… well, I ordered the«Leo’s Jr. Club Sandwich,» so I was hopeful that would help on my mission to sanity. Well I ate 2 bites and just as the waitress came back to check on me I noticed there was a short black hair on the other half of sandwich, located on turkey part of my sandwich!!! I told the waitress«this has a hair in it.» She said«where I don’t see it???»… finally she did! She brought my bill back and the sandwich was removed, WOWTHANKS! They couldn’t of threw in the soup with all the trouble? The waitress even went back to talk to the Manager and nothing. BADBUSINESS. There were 2 nice ladies across from me and they were in disbelief with what transpired and they said«we don’t want to give our hard earned money to a business that treats their patrons like that»… There’s too many other food options to pick from to accept this type of treatment. When I paid my bill, the Manager didn’t even acknowledge me or apologize for the ‘hairy’ situation. Real classy, avoiding a situation. Oh well, do you know what hurts a business more — – NOT returning!!! Back to Kerby’s this lady goes! I’d much rather **not** have the misally 10% discount and be treated with respect, and patronize a business that truly values their customers. Leo’s management REALLY needs to take a page out of Kerby’s book there!

One of the better Coney Islands! They have a wide variety of food on their menu. I love coming here for breakfast, and the omelets are very tasty. Service is great and friendly. I never had to ask for a refill on my coffee,…she was always there before it ran out. A little warning though this restaurant tends to be very busy at lunch time, but it always will have an open table somewhere. Yes, I would recommend this place.

There was an olive pit in my salad, when I showed the waitress, she said ‘it’s not yours?, that would turn me off’. Then proceeded to leave it on the bill. I had to request my mom’s sausage three times. There’s too much competition in the area to put up with a lousy experience.

Pretty nice and big coney. They have lot’s of seating and the service is good. The service is as good as I could expect. I had the gyro sandwich with a mini greek island. The salad was so-so but the gyro was really good, better than I thought it would be.

The food is amazing. The server is nice. The place is warm and good for a nice breakfast. I really recommend it for breakfast. Between 10 to 12 it won’t be very busy. It notice that the eggs usually come kinda raw.

I had a takeout last night. The service was good. But, the food was a disappointment. They boxed the sweet potato fries. It was soft when I got home. The chicken lemon rice soup was so watery and plain. Very little rice in it.

Nice to have a place open 24 hours. It was clean, service was fast and the waitress was attentive. However, the food was average at best. The swiss cheese tasted more like American, the sausage had very little character, almost like it was reheated, and the hash browns, while crispy, had little flavor. The lemonade was good. I didn’t try dessert but they had quite the assortment, and they looked goo. I would only really come again if it was too late to go anywhere else.

I’ve been working near this Leo’s since before it opened but had never set foot inside. I went recently for lunch. The place was nice and clean and we seated ourselves. As is common for coney island restaurants, the menu was HUGE! My companion had breakfast — he said it was good but the hash browns could have been a bit crispier. I had a medium Greek salad — and it was huge! I couldn’t even eat it all. The vegetables were fresh and the gyro meat was good, but not remarkable. Service was polite but a bit slow. I wouldn’t expect a Greek salad and an order of hash browns to take almost half an hour to come out.

The food is still good, the service still isn’t. I go semi-frequently now since it’s Muslim owned and halal. Insha’Allah the service will improve.

wow I am surprised people come here to eat microwave dinners!!! need I say more? This truly was the worst american Halal dining experience I have ever had. the meatloaf was crusty like it’s been nucked too long, the chicken in chicken salad, was dry and like a rubber. I couldn’t even cut it with a steak knife. my kids spaghetti had little meat like chocolate sprinkle, it was dry no sauce, and spaghetti stuck to each other like its been cooked for too long. just nasty! and I don’t like using that word for food.
