History

Established in 1997.

We first started off in business with a store called Media Maze in 1997. Media Maze was a store that sold computer software and new and used video games. In 1998, Avanti Computers was purchased from the existing owner. In 2001, Pruitt Office Machines was also purchased to add some additional benefits and opportunities for us and our customers. We service the Decatur and surrounding area for home computers and also business computers.

I have been with with this business from the beginning (Media Maze, Avanti Media Maze and Avanti Computers). I enjoy my customers (ask Steve, I spend too much time talking to them). Over the years I have gotten more into the computer side along with the «running the business» side to where I am now the one building the custom built computers we sell. It is a nice sense of accomplishment when I hear back from customers saying how great the new computer is and also from people saying how much better the computer is running after Avanti has fixed it up!
