Awesome location, food and service were average. Location gives this place a killer opportunity, but they just fall a bit short on the delivery.

Nice atmosphere overlooking the Intracoastal. Quality food both times I have been there, although a bit pricey. If you like turkey burgers it’s one of the best I’ve had. Probably more value if you go at Happy Hour.

If you’ve been following my posts, I think you can tell Florida has my favorite restaurants.
Deck is always a go to. They are right on the water and on Atlantic Ave which a great road of shops, restaurants, bars and dessert spots.
Today we changed up our order a bit and everything was great, as always. Guac and popcorn shrimp to start– guac was perfect and chips aren’t disgustingly salty like so many other places and it comes with green salsa. The popcorn shrimp was also fabulous– perfectly crisped, tasty and not fishy. Also came with 2 sauces– 1 creamy and 1 more saucy and both were delicious. I don’t know what they were but I hate sauce and I used both. When you know, you know.
Then I split the southwestern chicken salad which is a huge portion and very tasty. It comes with chicken, avocado, corn, black beans, tortilla crisps and some other things I can’t recall with a flavored buttermilk ranch dressing.
I tried my moms Mediterranean sampler which has eggplant, tzaki, hummus, olives and Israeli salad with pretty good pita and then my sisters veggie burger which is beet based but VERY tasty, not a crazy dirt flavor like some have. The pickle that comes with the veggie burger also rocks– not sour at all and super juicy and it comes with fries in a mini fryer which is my favorite thing ever.
We also got a pitcher of sangria which isn’t the strongest but definitely tasty and for checking in on Unilocal we got $ 5 off $ 20 so… WIN
Our waiter rocked, everyone is super friendly, it’s kinda expensive but for the area and scene it’s well worth it

Me, my wife, and another couple, went to Deck 84 for the first time and we sat indoors because it was very humid that day. To start, the service was excellent. The manager was very helpful in getting us a table inside which was air conditioned. The view outside would have been great but we were happy. The menu was limited but everything we ordered was very good. After dinner, we went outside to have some drinks at the bar. Will definitely be back when we’re in town.

I love this place mostly because this is where I went on my first date with the love of my life. I cannot remember much about the food or the drinks. But I can definitely say this place has a great atmosphere! We sat right on the water and it was just a wonderful setting.
My only complaint was it took me a while to find the place! But I would definitely come back!

Granted it’s been a while since I’ve been there, with all the other places I can go in Delray. The one thing Deck 84 has is a tremendous view of the Intercoastal, which is great. The service was solid every time I’ve gone. The food is OK. I usually went for brunches, and definitely dug their Bloody Mary bar — that was cool. It’s a fun place to hang on an afternoon with the Intercoastal as your back drop.

Love this spot on the waterway. Great lively atmosphere with frequent live music. Food is great (I love the Brie Pear flatbread). Drinks are pricey but they have everything you’d want. My favorite overall place to get dinner or lunch in Delray.

Nice place/​locale, but insanely overpriced.
Had the burger, which was good, but just nothing special for $ 16…I don’t even pay $ 16 for most burgers in New York. The burger on its own is $ 14, and then to add a slice of cheese, $ 2…mind blowing for casual Florida.
Service was alright, but we were told 45 mins for a table and waited an hour+
Oh, almost forgot…$ 4 to park.

Hard not to give 5 stars. The food was extremely fresh and tasty and the waitress friendly and took care of our every need.
The hubs and I loved the mussels in a white wine San Marzan garlic broth. They were very small but the flavors great! The $ 10 lunch sliders w slaw was very satisfying and the blackened baja fish tacos were yummy w the salsa Verde. Okay, so we CANNOT forget the water view, the breeze and the music. Such an awesome atmosphere!

Lunch here was a delight on the inter-​coastal for the Delray Beach annual affair. We ordered 3 appis. The Mediterranean platter, which was very tasty: hummus, eggplant caponata, marinated olives and a feta cheese mix, sour cream & dill w/​toasted pita. A nice mix.
The crab cake appi was spectacular. It was made w/​a chipotle remoulade & an avocado-​corn salsa. Wow.
We topped everything off w/​a pear/​Brie flatbread with miso bacon brite and arugula… good+ but almonds on it would have made it superb.
NB: the appi portions are large. Large selection of of spirits.

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch here while on spring break vacation. We had a perfect view of the water and the service was excellent. The harvest salad I had was fresh and delicious. My son ordered the Baja fish tacos which were also fresh and very tasty.

Update — 2nd visit better than the last. Went here for lunch because of the location. Food was pretty good and great service.
Sadly a waste of a great location. Service is hit or miss, but generally friendly. The food and menu however? The menu is flat out boring, and not executed well even. It’s tough to find great seafood restaurants in S FL that don’t seem like chain food, and deck 84 is no exception. I suppose the good news is, it’s a lot better than the restaurant across the water from them. Between Boynton and Delray, neither have one great food restaurant on the water. But that’s the FL way. Can over charge and serve average food because of the view.

I am a fan of this place. everything I have eaten here is delicious. They have the best veggie burger. A little pricey but it is Downtown Delray Beach. The service is very good. They have a nice view of the water where you see people step out of their boats to dine here.

Excellent food, good service, on the water, what’s not to like?
I understand there is a LOT of competition on Atlantic, but I think this place stands with its peers.
Very friendly and attentive service.
Decent craft beer selection, with more than just a couple ipa’s on there.
Spinach artichoke dip was nice, not too heavy or gloppy, bang bang shrimp had two dipping sauces.
Wiley’s cedar plank salmon was very good and came with a delightful grain (couscous?) salad.
My blackened fish tacos were bananas! They nailed it. Great textural contrasts, bright soppy slaw, fresh jalapeños, tasty.
They have outdoor booths! I have never seen that before, and as a booth aficionado was impressed.
Really excellent food, much better than it needed to be. I thought to myself, «oh it’s a deck restaurant, boring fish with and warm beer for me»
No no my friends. It is more.
