Waited 45 minutes for food… nice waiter but kitchen took forever. Also forgot one of our entrees. Wanted it to succeed but not sure I’ll come back. Asked for water three times but never received.

In answer to Peter w., I was sitting across from you. I know from your picture. You ordered stuffed shells and kids ravioli for the two little children at your table. When the waiter, Lew(I know his name because I am a regular) brought them, all of a sudden you say the boy won’t eat the ravioli with sauce, and the girl throws a fit because there is melted cheese over the baked stuffed shells. What a surprise… ravioli had sauce and baked stuffed shells had cheese. I watched as lew made things right for two dishes that another restaurant might have had you pay for. You failed TO mention that in your hateful keep that in mind before you go on the internet to try and sabatoge a business. these people work hard and their food is awesome.

My wife and I convinced another couple to join us for dinner at Guido’s to have Chicken Scarpariello, which I had enjoyed there several times in the past. To our utter disappointment and embarrassment, 1) the serviced was outrageously slow, taking us well over an hour to receive some of our entrees, 2) the platters for our guests arrived at the table significantly later than ours, 3) our obviously inexperienced waitress was completely addled by the many impatient customers in the booths around us, ALL complaining about the slow kitchen service. One customer, in fact, raised his voiced so loud that he was disturbing others in the restaurant. The bedraggled hostess, kept apologizing, saying that the kitchen«was backed up». To put a further damper on the evening, our bill was incorrectly calculated, and the overcharge was not properly corrected even after we pointed out the errors to both our waitress and our hostess. All in all, dinner proved to be a total bust because of the extremely poor service. UnfortunateIy, I can’t recommend this place until they get their act together.

We went there last Tuesday with family. The service was the worst we had ever experienced. The waiter would hear one thing we had to say and go off and running. He brought me a regular coke instead of diet, ran off to change it before my parents could ask for their sprites. It took a long time to get the garlic knots, and we were never given bread plates so had to use the paper placemats, which the oil soaked through. Other diners got their food, while we sat waiting for nearly an hour. At one point, my husband wanted to get the attention of the waiter and he literally had to grab the guy by his shirt to get him to stop. We asked for the manager, who took his time coming over to us. The manager was extremely unprofessional. Our food finally came out… barely warm. My niece’ s pasta with garlic and oil was totally dried out. By this time, no one had an appetite anymore and tried to get boxes to pack up our meals. I say tried because at this time our waiter was totally ignoring us. We finally got boxed up, including the mini-cannolis, and got the check. The manager did take my husband’s meal off the check. We paid the bill, no tip, and will never frequent this place again.

My husband and I were waiting patiently in line at another pizza parlor down the street(Bambini) when another customer in the same line mentioned that their other favorite pizza place was Guido’s. Since we were new to the area, we figured let’s leave and head to Guido’s and give it a shot. We were not disappointed. It’s a bit on the pricy side but that is expected when you pay for quality. All of the staff were patient and informative. They share a plaza with 3G’s thus sometimes depending on the time of day it could be difficult to find a parking spot.

This pizzeria has been around a long time, although it’s new in that Guido owns it and scaled the place down in size by half. The menu is improved and they’ve added a cool line of gourmet pizzas. Their marinara is good but a little sugary for my tastes but the crust on the pizza was really good. They have a big menu with lots of other Italian dishes.

Don’t get a panini! Totally drenched in oil and garlic. Vegetable panini was just huge globs of mozzarella, some roasted red peppers, some eggplant, and tomatoes. Just pizza ingredients on garlic bread, drenched in oil. I went through 10 napkins eating it. The pizza in this restaurant looked decent and would have been a much better choice.
