I am writing this review for the Cross Rip, not the Corsair — I didn’t get to see those rooms. We came in a large group in the spring for a wedding. The staff was extremely friendly, and the location is prime for sure, right on the water. All of the rooms have a small side-facing balcony that gives a decent view of the water. The room was tiny though, and felt kind of old. The bathroom was updated, but the jacuzzi tub had a drain set up so that it could not be plugged. The breakfast included in the stay was limited at best, with the pre-packaged bagels and cream cheese being the highlight. Only hard-boiled eggs were available. Bottom line is that I wouldn’t stay here again based on value. Staff said that the rooms run about $ 300 per night during the summer, and it’s certainly not worth that. It is a great location, but for that money, I would look elsewhere!

If you’re looking for the Taj, this place is not for you. If you’re looking for a semi reasonable, water front hotel in the Cape, this is for you. Between the pools and beaches there is something for everyone. Pool and beach area are great, they have beach chairs in the room, beds are comfy and rooms are clean(some updates have been made but still a little outdated.) Couple of things: the hotel seemed to be extremely handicapped accessible(pro)and the booking process was a pain in the butt(con.) All in all, great couple of days.

I come here every year in the spring with a very large group which takes up many rooms(on a slow weekend). I’ve never stayed here in the summer, but I have to believe it stays busy based on everything about this place. The staff are amazing; they remember us year after year, and they are very accommodating. It’s a great central location if you want to travel all over the Cape. I’m not sure what their summer rates are, but for when we’re there, we get a good rate. I prefer to stay in the Corsair, because the rooms are larger. And if you haven’t stayed there recently, you’ll be in for a treat, because all the rooms are getting renovated. The upstairs rooms got decks a couple of years ago. This year, my room had a new tile floor at the entrance, a new stove, a new, full, refrigerator/freezer, a new microwave with a powerful vent, and a new sink and countertop. The bathroom had new tile, new fixtures, and the tub is now a whirlpool. They have several houses you can also rent with full kitchens, dining rooms, laundry rooms, etc. I’ve taken advantage of all their pools and hot tubs, which are well maintained. I’d use the beach if I were there during summer months. They have a nice games area above the indoor pool and a nice selection of games you can borrow and movies you can watch in your room. They provide a continental breakfast which is as good as — if not better than — many motel chains, as well as a wall of brochures for nearby restaurants and activities. They also provide Wi-Fi via BlueStreak. Ask when you check in, and you will get a card with a unique ID and password you can use for up to a week. I also get a Christmas card from them every year. What’s not to love about the place?

We stayed at the Corsair. Fantastic location. Right on the beach. Maybe it’s accepted for beach hotels on Cape Cod to be ugly and run down? I guess it’s ok, since other reviewers called this place their«home.» Maybe they live in a dump, because that is what this place is. We stayed in the«deluxe ocean view room» it is neither deluxe nor does it have an ocean view. Two stars because staff was friendly and location was good. Btw, most of my reviews are 4⁄5 stars, so I kind of feel bad writing a review like this, but seriously!!! not cheap either.

Our MA relative turned us on to the Corsair, and we really enjoyed our stay at this beach motel compound. The staff was 5 star friendly and helpful. And though it’s not an upscale place, they have many amenities that make it a great place to stay at the beach, especially for families. — Right on the beach — Indoor and outdoor pools — Entertainment room with ping pong, air hockey and more — well stocked kitchenettes in almost every room — many rooms have a sitting area you can separate from the sleeping area with an accordion wall(great if you have kids that go to bed before you). — good package deals(we got 2 bike rentals and a pizza with ours) They think of just about everything at the Corsair, but bring your own shampoo and conditioner. They just provide dial soap for baths/sink. Also BYO beach towels for pool/beach. They give you plenty of towels in the room but they’re a bit rough and not sized for the pool. Your room will have a coffee maker, but BYO coffee… or go to the office for fresh coffee in the morning(at least before high season when a basic breakfast is included in your stay). Provided bfast had an abundance of breads(packaged sweet rolls, bagels, english muffins, cereal), yogurt and hard boiled eggs. Nothing fancy. We supplemented with fruit from the grocery. The Corsair is convenient to popular restaurants and in addition to two hotels, they’ve got a few rental houses too.
