Typical college town hole in the wall… great food, personable service, cheap prices, flimsy paper plates. Give it a try! :) Veg head pizza in pic

Crooked crust is my all time favorite pizza restaurant! I LOVE this place! They have the best crust and best toppings of any pizza place around. If you’re going to eat pizza in Denton, this is the place to try. We love getting the Alfredo pizza with meatballs, mushrooms, olives, and ricotta cheese(YUM!). We also love it because they are open until 3 Am on Fri & Sat if we’re in the mood for a late night meal. Just thinking about it makes me want to stop everything and drive to Crooked Crust and order a delicious pizza! Mmmmmm

Crooked Crust is AWESOME. When I was a UNT student, I frequently found myself dining here because UNT’s cafeteria food is awful. How awful? Like my friend once found a feather attached to his rotisserie chicken awful. Thankfully, Crooked Crust was a short walk across campus to save me. I probably ate here 2 – 3 times a week with my bud and I never got sick of it. As a matter of fact, one of the best days during my time at UNT was when they started the new rewards card program. I was SO excited. I opened one up right away and found myself getting free pizzas in no time! Every time I went with my bud, we’d order the half pizza + 2 drinks combo. For the pizza toppings, we always got half BBQ chicken and half buffalo chicken. OHBOY I’m drooling just thinking about it… Both flavors are incredibly good and require no modifications. They make it perfect every time! The pizza slices are a good size so two slices each was enough to make us both satisfied. There were times where we ordered the whole pizza and ate 4 slices each, but that was always overkill. Even though that was our regular order, I have tried some of the other toppings and I remember liking all of them. Also, their appetizers and desserts are pretty good, but we never ordered them because we wanted to save our appetite for the pizza. Also, I think the staff here deserves a shout out. They are really nice and friendly, especially to returning customers. When we’d order the full pizza, they’d often throw in two free drinks for me and my bud since they knew we usually did the half pizza + 2 drinks combo. They also contributed to our school fundraisers regularly, gave us free samples, and friendly discounts. They’re great people.

Crooked Crust is amazing! I like the 2 pieces unlimited toppings with a drink special — it fills me up and I know I only need 6 bucks. I love that it’s close to UNT and the pizza is always fresh and yummy. They have some great combinations there and I’ve never ordered one that I don’t like, but if you don’t like your pizza they’ll always remake it which is really cool of them. I love the veggie pizza best but this place is definitely worth checking out!

They have good prices for pizza + drink combos, but if you don’t want the drink then it’s the same price??? Anyway been multiple times and tried the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza and the Meatball Parmesan hoagie. The pizza tasted exactly like you think it would, salty bacon contrasting to the Ranch sauce, with some chicken for good measure. I only got ¼ pizza and it was reasonably filling, but not quite enough for a whole meal. The meatball sub was incredibly delicious, nice seasoning on the meatballs and the marinara sauce was not too acidic. Definitely worth a trip if you are in the area, good pre-made pizzas or you can design your own(Kitchen Sink). The lighting is a bit dark inside though.

Ordered some veggie pizza from here the other day and split it with 3 other girls. It was so good! The ingredients tasted fresh and the pizza was amazing. 2 pieces were enough to fill me up for only 4 $.(16 $ for a whole pizza). I’ll definitely be back soon.

The best gluten free pizza crust in Denton AND the lowest price. It’s $ 8.50 for a 10″ GF pizza with unlimited toppings and a drink. The service is typically pretty slow but the workers are always very nice in my experience. From time to time you’ll have them get your order wrong but somehow no matter what they put on the pizza it still tastes good so it’s not always the worst thing. I’ve been coming to Crooked Crust for three or four years and it’s always been good but it seems like lately it’s been going down hill a bit — mainly from the service and the errors within the orders. Still, though, I would still recommend it overall!

No complaints here. Crooked Crust serves made to order pizza at a great price. All of the toppings are fresh and the best part– you can choose as many toppings you want without paying extra like at most pizza places. I got a whole pizza and split it for only $ 16. It’s nothing fancy, but it satisfies a pizza craving without breaking the bank. The fact that it’s walking distance from UNT makes it even sweeter. This is the place to go after class when you’re looking for a great meal at a great price.

We had lunch here this past Saturday around noonish. It being a Saturday we easily found free parking right in front along the street. I would imagine that during the week it isn’t quite as easy to find parking close by. The restaurant is small but has plenty of table seating as well as counter seating along the windows. There was a group of people already there along with a single person. Other than that it was us so finding seating wasn’t a problem. Closer to us leaving more people started to show up. This being our first time here we went with one of the specials — basically half a pizza and two drinks. With this special you are able to get two pieces specialized. So for my two pieces I got pepperoni and hamburger and my husband got hamburger and… something else. But with this special you can’t get individual pieces specialized. Make sense? We also got an order of breadsticks. Our breadsticks came out fairly quickly and were delicious. Freshly baked, soft and warm. They came with marinara sauce on the side. Very good! Our pizza was ready soon after. The pizza was pretty good. The pepperoni slices looked to be the cheapo kind that you can find at the grocery store but otherwise it had a good taste. One piece ended up being plenty for me so I gave my husband my second piece. He was happy with his pizza — said that that he really liked it. So in total we spent around $ 17.00 for four breadsticks, two drinks, and four slices of pizza. The restaurant is nice and the employees were friendly and helpful. Would we come back? Definitely. Would we recommend them? Definitely.

This is the best pizza place in Texas(in my opinion). I love the«Mean Green» pizza with a side of ranch, but the«Meat Me» is good as well. I always get ¼ of the mean green with a drink for $ 6. That’s two huge pieces of pizza and a drink for $ 6. Awesome deal for broke college students.

BRUH Fresh ingredients, cool specials, and late hours makes this the place to treat yo self to some pizza. I’m hungry now. By the way, I’m sure the staff deals with A LOT of crap, being right off campus(especially considering young college kids don’t tip that well in my experience) and having a heavy amount of drunk bar goers in and out. So pls consider that they are people too and customers can be the worst people. Sooooo… Give them a couple extra bucks in their tip jar!!! They work hard and that pizza is dope!!!

Right in the middle of Fry, and I don’t think I’ve ever visited this place during the day and sober. BUT drunk me loves it when it’s after last call and always leaves happy. The Meat Me is the way to go.

Y’all. Crooked Crust is hands down the best pizza place in Denton, definitely in Texas, most likely in the U.S.A, and quite possibly, the world. If we are just talking straight pizza quality, it’s on point. Only once have I ever bitten into a crooked crust pizza and thought«huh, that doesn’t exceed my every expectation» but that was once out of the couple thousand times I ate there during my college career. Every other time I’ve been beyond satisfied. But let’s not stop there. You’re probably thinking by this point«oh but like how much do I have to pay extra for toppings?» How does the number zero work for you? Unlimited toppings on any pizza. «Okay but I bet they overcharge on their drinks.» WRONG! People, we are talking 2 slices of quality, unlimited topping pizza, and a drink, for 6 dollars flat. No added tax. No secret fees. 6 bucks even. And on top of all of that. One of the coolest atmospheres in Denton, awesome music constantly playing, super friendly, heavily bearded employees. Honestly some of the coolest people you will ever order a pizza from. Granted, sometimes, the tables are dirty. But that’s just leftover flavor. Every time I go back to Denton, I eat at Crooked Crust. If you like pizza, if you like good cheap food, if you’ll never admit to being a hipster but you totally are one. Eat at Crooked Crust. Enjoy the saucy goodness.

I usually go to the Mellow Mushroom for my «Gluten Free» pizza fix, but this place is tastier… If you don’t mind standing in line and dealing with all of the crazy college kids running around, then look no further for everything you want for a good olé slice of pie… They offer over 38 different types of toppings and have some very interesting options for you to choose from. The other thing I like about this place is that you can order just one slice, 4 slices, half pie, or the whole deal. Having that alone combined with your choice of toppings(Game over). Did I mention that it is delicious???

I was not expecting much from this hole in the wall pizza place. I got the ¼ special and a red bull with a free cup thrown in the deal. I chose the kitchen sink special and made my own pizza. When the pizza came out it looked average but when I bit into it there was an extra layer of flavor I was not expecting. They add some spices to the crust that adds something to it. Two slices were plenty for me and I would definitely go back if I’m in the area again.

This place is pretty cool! Always got good music on and a convenient location. The only thing I don’t really like is that you cannot just get one slice of pizza you MUST get two and a drink. Not even just two slices without a drink. But it is pretty good pizza. Everyone who works here is super hipster. And they yell when your order is ready which adds character. They have a pizza called the kitchen sink where it’s like. Loaded pizza. also they have unlimited toppings which is pretty sweet!

When I want quality pizza, I don’t go to any chain restaurants, I go to crooked crust. It’s next to campus. Win. Tax is included into the price. Win. The topping are unlimited for no extra charge. WIN! I just wish they delivered. Tip: The jalapenos are not pickled, they are fresh — and they are spicy AF. :)

Three Words: Buffalo Chicken Pizza. The tangy buffalo chicken with hot, melted cheese and ranch dipping sauce on the side. What more could you want? They have a special for a half pizza and two drinks for only ten bucks! Yes, the music can be loud at times. Yes, there are a lot of students who come in and out(it’s located across the street from campus). But when you’re needing your pizza fix, Crooked Crust is where to go.
