Denver Professional Movers

The moving team at Denver Professional Movers was wonderful! They were incredibly hard working and considerate. If we have to move again, we’ll definitely be calling them!

This is our second time using Denver professional movers. Our complex move from a 6^th floor apartment with a small elevator, was fast. The movers were very timely and professional.

I used Denver Professional Movers for my move in November 2015 (Cory-​Merrill neighborhood to Montclair neighborhood in Denver). They came on time and were very efficient while they were there to make sure no time was wasted given they charge hourly. When I had moved into the rental house 8 years ago, it took Cowboy Movers over an hour to get my leather couch downstairs into the basement (1940’s bungalow — narrow stairs). They took the entire security door and inside door off — so I was prepared for an extra hour of work in the November move. However, Denver Professional Movers was able to get the couch back up the stairs and outside in 15 minutes — they only took the inside door off. I can’t say enough about them. I find their professionalism and speed alleviates the general anxiety of a house move.

We hired DPM to move our 2 bedroom into a 3 bedroom townhouse. We had everything packed and in boxes, and all furniture was disassembled. They arrived on time, and had the house packed up, moved, and UNPACKED in 3 hours! So impressive! Nothing was damaged, everything was EXTREMELY well wrapped for the move. With tip, we paid $ 500 and it was worth every single penny. Would definitely hire this company again. I only wish they had been able to put together our bed.

Great service, they helped me on the short notice, my total was actually lower than I thought. Oh and not to mention they sent ed me an extra guy at no extra charge, I guess it was Luke a bonus or a lottery that I won with them, cause that what made it quicker to and safed so time for me. Movers are friendly and efficient. As most reviewers, they couldn’t get all my stuff in the truck. they packed the truck just fine but they need bigger trucks. Upon my move it was raining all day and they protected my furniture. Would have gotten four stars had they gotten my sectional down the stairs. they said it wouldn’t fit. My buddy and I got ti down there in 2 minutes after removing the legs.

Great movers! Didn’t damage a thing and were very efficient. They had the wrapping and laundry boxes, plus dollies. Definitely recommend to anyone.

Foreman was Beck, movers were Alex and Phillip. Cannot say enough about both the cost of this move (under $ 400 for one bedroom for 3 hours) and the movers. All of it was beyond exceptional. Because of the great price I was a bit hesitant at first, because last time I moved I used Colorado Moving Company and they lied about their prices. But all of this was real! Cannot recommend these guys enough.

Beck and his team were very quick, efficient, and friendly. They finished my studio apartment in under three hours and their rates were the best of everywhere I quoted. They did arrive two hours earlier than expected so be prepared day of.

The boyfriend and I just complete a move this morning with this company. The 3 gentleman they sent to help with the move were very courteous, professional and quick. We needed everything wrapped to be put in storage and they made sure things were well wrapped up! Would recommend using them for sure!

3 movers and a truck moved my whole house in under 5 hours, very heavy items were no problem. They were fast, on time and very polite.
Worth every penny

Art and Richard showed up today to empty out a moving truck we drove up from out of state. They were on time, kind and listened to all concerns we had with moving our furniture. I was very impressed with the way they handled our bulky couch, and the way they worked it thru the front door, then twisted and stood it up right to haul up the stairs. Unfortunately for them they did such a good job I will request them to move us back out!!! They worked at a fast pace, did not look at their cellphones other than for business purposes.
I will hire them again and will recommend them to others.

This move was a breeze! Ziyo Akmal and Sergey were an awesome team that helped move us quickly and safely. They moved heavy items easily and also took care with the small stuff.
Great that they have the wardrobe boxes for clothes to use. Makes it even easier. I would use these guys again next time for sure. Also, they took the Unilocal voucher which is an added bonus!
They amazed me with their work in the stairway and tight corners!

Artem and his crew worked very quickly and with care. They got all of our things moved in how we asked. They even gave us some hanging wardrobe boxes to use for our clothes. Thanks guys!

We used Denver Professional Movers for our local move in February. It was horrible. I had told them on the phone the size of the house (4 bedroom) and that we would need the largest truck. They also assured me they could move our piano. I sent them pictures (it’s a really heavy antique upright) and they assured me it was okay. On the day of the move they showed up toward the end of the time window. There were four guys, and I must say they worked really hard. However, they were not very smart about it. They used brute strength and force, rather than planning and engineering to move things and fit things into the truck. They took all day to pack the truck which I think was only a 24′ truck and then said they couldn’t fit all of our stuff (and we don’t have an excessive amount of stuff — just the normal amount for a family of four). Keep in mind they charge by the hour and charge a trip fee. So they said they’d have to come back for the rest (adding additional time and trip charges — all because they didn’t show up with a big enough truck and then didn’t do a smart job packing it so that they could fit it all). By the time they showed up at the new house, took their lunch break and unpacked it, it was 9pm. So my husband ended up renting a Uhaul for the rest and loading and unloading it all himself. Part of the plan was that they would also reassemble the beds and furniture in the new house — but it was so late by the time the finished unloading, that they just had to go. An example of how unprofessional these guys were — they used pure strength to move the piano. I’ve seen professional piano movers before and they have all sorts of tricks to get pianos up stairs, etc. They ended up breaking off some of the decorative woodwork on the front of the piano. Plus, there were multiple things that I’d ask them to move (for example — «I want that desk in that room») to which they would respond that corners were too tight or doorways too small and it couldn’t be done. I had to stand there and tell them to turn things on their sides, or maneuver this way or that in order to get things where I wanted them. Professional movers should have the spatial intelligence to do this. Then, several days later I realized that they had removed glass shelves and doors from a cabinet and they weren’t in the house. I called and they couldn’t locate them. Luckily they reimbursed me for the new glass that had to be made, but it was a huge hassle. By the way, the parent company that they originally asked me to call to file a claim was in Los Angeles. Then the guy called me back and asked if we could just settle between the two of us without filing a claim. The check he sent me was from ABC Movers. So I think all these local professional moving companies are actually part of some bigger company. Overall, I spent about $ 1600 plus the additional Uhaul rental, and hours and hours of mine and my husband’s time to put furniture together, etc. If I had it to do over again, I’d verify that the moving company is sending an actual moving semi-​truck with trailer. The hourly quotes that I got from the big moving van lines were higher, but I bet would have been cheaper in the end for what we would have gotten.
In summary:
— Do not have them move your piano.
— They might be okay for small moves, but definitely not for big moves.
— Their hourly prices might be cheaper, but their lack of spatial intelligence makes them take a lot longer to do the job.

I recently had to switch apartments and had a ton of huge furniture to move. Being a girl I knew there was no way I had the upper arm strength to move everything myself.
I was recommended this moving company through my apartment complex. The experience was great. Two guys showed up on time with great attitudes to get the job done. We had a lot of laughs and cracked jokes the whole time.
I highly recommend this company to anyone who is moving. They take a really difficult job and make if fun for everyone and they are super chill.

We were supposed to move on the Sunday of the Memorial day weekend but our movers cancelled on the move day itself. So I only had only the rest of that day and Monday (a holiday) to get another mover and was really worried because when I had called around 2 weeks back, most of the moving companies were packed this weekend. Plus, I didn’t want to take any more chances on being cancelled on.
I found Denver Professional on Unilocal and the sheer number of positive reviews put my mind slightly at ease as I called them. From the moment they picked up the phone, I knew they were right for the job. Sam, whom I spoke to on the phone was really cordial and when I told him about our situation, he immediately let me know that they had an opening for Monday morning *phew*. He was prompt in sending me a quote (while we were on phone) with full details so that I could make my decision without having to call back again.
I decided to book with them pronto as I didn’t want to lose the opening, even though I was still in talks with the initial company to reschedule the same day. Sam wasn’t fazed when I told him I might have to cancel in case that happen. He treated me all the same and was clear and concise on all the charges I might incur if I did cancel.
I really appreciated that. Once the booking was confirmed over the phone. I immediately received emails with details of the confirmation. Having had a stressful day with the cancellation and with packing (still, I know!), a smooth booking with Denver Prof. was a welcome change. I decided to be straightforward and informed the initial company that we will go forward with the new company and informed Denver Prof. that we won’t be cancelling.
We were moving from one bedroom apartment to a 2 bedroom condo and I hadn’t finished packing clothes yet. Thankfully, when the moving truck arrived they had wardrobe boxes where I could hang my unpacked clothes. Sam had mentioned it too but I hadn’t realized they would be as big as they were. About the size of a box that would hold a washer. They had 4 of them for us.
Akhmat, Mukhtar and Aslan were really great. They called us 30 mins prior to arrival and they kept a cheerful mood all day around and it really helped both, my husband and myself, to forget about the stressful day we had the day before and also helped eased the process of moving. They were all really careful with all of our stuff packing and sealing them with either plastic, tape or blankets to prevent damage. They even dismantled furniture and re-​assembled them at the new location.
They have a Unilocal deal that’s $ 20 for $ 50 value that saved us $ 30. Both Sam and moving team mentioned it to me before they invoiced us.
All of our stuff reached the new place without hitch. If I ever have to move again, I will go with Denver Professional.

The movers were on time and worked very hard to complete my move, constantly running up and down the stairs. I had some issues with my ripped couch but have since straightened it out and have not held the moving company liable. They responded back quickly with a lengthy email so I appreciate the quick contact.
