Gravina’s Windows & Siding

The windows are nice, but their customer service and follow through is something to be desired.

They call every day to deliver them my final payment. I paid them in full even though I have the right not to pay them in full because they didn’t deliver my product completely. I will not go back nor recommended this company again.

BUYER BEWARE!!!
Salesman promised that windows would be installed in 4 – 6 weeks on 11÷6÷2014. It is 1÷19÷15 and the windows still have not been scheduled or installed. I sent an email on ¹¹⁄₁₇ with a question about my order and I never received a response. I called the office on 1÷12÷15 and I was told by a lady who answered the phone that someone would call me back and no one ever did. I finally received a call today (1÷19÷15) from Larry Gravina who told me that he was unwilling to work with my schedule to install the windows, and he threatened to take me to court and put a lien on my house when I told him that I would write a negative review about his customer service and his business.
I am surprised that they are still in business treating customers like that. I would not recommend this business, and I will not order doors from them in the future like I had planned. I am going forward with a BBB complaint, and I urge you to stay away from them.
They also pay people to write reviews so I would be leery about the good reviews written here!
ETA* Ask Mr. Gravina whether or not he RESPONDED to my email? Did he call me back when I called on the 12^th? NO! If he had, he would have learned that the truck issue became a non-​issue a few days after I sent that email. Money is not an issue for us at this time. And, his response to mine and other negative reviews just solidifies and confirms how little he knows about quality customer relations.
Look around the internet and you will quickly find many many negative reviews about Gravina’s Windows and Siding, all with the SAME THEME: Bad customer service, inability to install in a timely fashion to hold up their end of the contract, and inability to install a quality product and stand behind their work. But apparently this is all my fault, the weather is to blame, his internet server is to blame, his brother is to blame (which he claims is why he didn’t call me back or answer my email), and everyone else is to blame except him. hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
AGAIN BUYER BEWARE!!! I wouldn’t even give him 1 star if that were an option.

We had Gravinas replace all our windows. They were exceptionally friendly, had prices in line if not slightly lower than others, and the windows (great lakes?) are far superior to two windows we had from Champion. Have recommended and will continue to refer Gravinas.

A former customer-​had Gravinas replace a bathroom window. Went very smoothly, installed quickly, courteous service. Polite installers.

We stopped in the store late May and met with Larry about replacing all our windows. He was nice to work with, very laid back so we decided to go with them.
His son Nick came out a couple weeks later to do the exact measurements, he is very argumentative and seems to always want to be right when you are asking questions. I have some friends who used Gravinas and they said the same thing.
I was a little worried about it but when the crew showed up they were great to work with, they took all the time I wanted to answer questions and show me how they were being installed. My lead installers name was Gary, I don’t remember the other two’s names. Sorry guys but thanks!
The job took about three days and they did a decent job cleaning up when they were done. The job was done the 2^nd week of June. I have been in the construction industry for 30 years and I would use these guys again.

WORST customer service I’ve ever encountered! Specifically LARRY — one of the owners who treated me with the most disrespectful attitude I’ve ever had in my life.
Windows were ordered on ³⁄₂₄ — and the job was not completed until ⁶⁄₁₆ — because of their mistakes (they ordered the wrong window for our basement and the wrong color siding).
They have very poor follow up and have terrible inter-​company organization. They never knew who was out on what job.
They also NEVER called to schedule an installation — we always had to follow up with them.
But above and beyond everything else — LARRY was the RUDEST person I’ve ever talked to in my life. The fact that he feels comfortable treating his customers with such little respect and condescending tone. I am appalled!
I will NEVER use them again and hope that you do the same.
