History

Established in 2003.

As a kid growing up in Denver, Blart Bent never liked taking out the trash. The smell and sometimes dripping bags grossed him out. At night the alley dumpster was a dark, scary and smelly place. Blart always dreaded that long walk to the dumpster…

One evening after dinner, while straining to lift a heavy trash bag into the dumpster, some bigger kids saw Blart struggling and began heckling him. With a mocking, ‘Let me help you with that, Blart’, two of the bullies lifted Blart directly into the dumpster!

The bullies ran off and Blart was left wallowing in a sea of junk. Panic set in. Blart was hyperventllating. He slowly recessed into the depths of his psyche to escape the junk which was encompassing him. Time and space faded away and in a rebirth of sorts, JUNKMAN was born!

Now Junkman embraces junk of all varieties. This superhero of trash sees the potential in junk. Tirelessly, Junkman declutters citizens’ lives while recycling as much junk as possible from each load! HURRAY!

These guys were great, smooth process all around. Scheduling the pickup over the phone was easy, the guys showed up on time, and they were very courteous and professional. They did a much better job getting our couch out of the room than the movers who scraped up our door getting it in. Very pleased and will definitely call again for any future removals.

I chose Junkman Junk Removal and Recycling because of the excellent star rating and the comments! I called for an appt. and received a call back from Alex within a very short time. The appt. was 2 d. later. Boyd and Zach B. called, as they promised, before their arrival. They were on time, friendly, professional and took away our «junk» within 10 min. The price is reasonable and the service is spectacular! Highly recommend them.

The Junkman has excellent customer service, they went above and beyond for my family and I. I had made the mistake of calling a competitor. When I called Junkman about my problem, Alex the owner made it possible to help fix it right away. Very easy to do business with. Needed a mattress picked up, called these guys and they gave me a quote over the phone. My replacement mattress delivery was delayed a couple of times, so I had to call them back to move my appointment around. No big deal. They accommodated. I didn’t even need to be home, payment was over the phone and I left the mattress outside. I received a confirmation call just before the guys came over to grab it so I knew to expect them if I were home.
Folks who picked up my mattress were friendly and quick. Took them all of 1 or 2 minutes and they were on their way.
Would definitely use these guys again if the need were to arise in the future.

We were tasked with the chore of cleaning out my parents home after 60 years of living there. After numerous trips to Goodwill, boxes shipped to family, and full trash cans, we decided it was time for help. On the scheduled day, Boyd and Jesse, of Junkman Enterprises, inc., called to let us know they were on the way, arrived promptly and cleared out more than we had in two months. They were professional, courteous, and even accommodated our request for another truckload the same day. We were extremely impressed with their service and recommend Boyd and Jesse to anyone needing junk removed.

Needed removal of items from a condo renovation. I made contact with Alex and he was great at answering my questions and we agreed to talk again the day before I needed them. He called, exactly like he said he would, and we talked about the options available. He called the next day to update me on when the guys would arrive and then heard from them as they were on their way. My job was a little complicated, as they had to exit and enter through a parking garage and had a ramp to navigate. Justin and Will were AWESOME! They were polite, professional and personable and they really knew what they were doing. They even got a little help halfway through moving our items from a couple of other guys.
They were quick and clean … they even swept up some stuff for us… I would absolutely use them again!

Last time I called them I never got a reply. Much different than my first experience. I was so impressed with them he first time that they had a long way to fall from that standard. By not following up at all, they went from fantastic to terrible. Not sure what happened, but had to call another similar company to get the junk removed. That experience wasn’t so great either, making the fact that Junk Man didn’t call me even worse

I really wish that I had known about Junkman sooner — I used them for the first time this week after reading reviews on Unilocal.I do a lot of renovations (I own a very old home) and over the years of doing one project at a time, I usually end up storing construction debris in my garage until I get enough for a small dumpster.
I called this week and they came out the very next day — I got an over the phone estimate based on my description of my junk (in this case, it was tile and sheetrock from a bathroom I was redoing) and the estimate was right on when they came the very next day to get my debris. You can’t put this stuff in the normal trash — I guess you could hide a few tiles in your trash once a week, but who wants to do that?
The men who came out (I’m so sorry I can’t remember their names) were incredibly courteous and efficient — they called 20 minutes early and said they were ready if I was. Yes! come early!!!
An absolute breath of fresh air as far as service goes — I will surely use them again, not only because it was such an economical solution (cost was nothing compared to a dumpster) but because the men who came out to help me were so very courtesous and professional. Thanks so much!
