Someone from Lucy’s sent the message below to my private inbox. I don’t think they are interested in winning our business back, it’s obvious I hit a sore spot. Not sure how this person knows my heritage but my guess is because they don’t get many customers. For the record: I am Filipino, I have lived in the Philippines and yes my mother’s cooking is far better than this horrible restaurant. The street stands in the PI are better than this restaurant.
Instead of a song, dance, or hateful email… here’s an idea Lucy… CUSTOMER SERVICE and QUALITY OF FOOD goes much farther. If I could give Lucy’s negative stars, I would. Again, save your money and skip this one.
And good luck keeping your place open, Lucy.

I’m sorry that you had a bad experience at Lucy’s. But I can assure you that our Lumpia is 100% home made. Maybe is not like the way your mom cook or your grand mother. But every Island in the philippines have their own way of cooking. It just happen that I learn my cooking from my parents when they have their own restaurant in the Philippines. And as far as our caribbean cuisine, I’m sorry to tell you that I fired that cook and we’re no longer have a caribbean dish. And if our pancit is boring. Will I don’t know what to tell you but maybe next time I’ll tell them to sing or make a lot of noise first to entertain the customers. But thank you for your comments. Good luck to you.
