Great fried chicken and sides served family style. Excellent wait staff and plenty of interesting things to see and do if there is a wait such as antique autos and arcade games.

My family has gone here for years. My grandpa has played on the music stage for years as well. We don’t like that the new owners made into more of a bar feeling in the concert hall. We liked it more family oriented. The service is always great! Food is good. I just hope it stays old fashioned and the new owners don’t make it new age…

My parents took me here when I was about 5 – 7 years old. I live in Los Angeles, so for the past 3 years while visiting to go to a Broncos game, I’ve brought my friends here with me. It’s now become our yearly tradition to come grab the fried chicken for dinner. Wonderful staff, great food, and great ambiance. Keep up the good work!

If you live in Denver, this is one of those places you simply have to go to at least once. We went on a weekday so had zero wait time and very fast service. It’s like stepping back in time 50 years. back at grandmas house. except grandma never made fried chicken like WFF can(It’s really awesome chicken)! Let’s not forget the corn fritters of which you simply can’t stop eating. It’s a fabulous place for children with the amazing playground, tree house and petting zoo. In the summer there are beautiful gardens as well. It’s just refreshing to dine at a place that is calming, without all the tv’s, and reminds you of the simpler days… all while eating great food.

Christmas Eve dinner with the family… service was great. We had reservations and didn’t wait at all. Drinks were delivered quickly and the sides came right after. We were all commenting about how there were probably a hundred people waiting to be seated and we were the only people in the entire dining room. Then we heard a woman screaming about 98% chance that it would work … Don’t put my name on that… very odd. Turns out it was the manager screaming at the man trying to fix the boiler because they had no hot water. Still, we understood because that’s the breaks and stuff happens right? But the fried chicken, which EVERYONE told me to order since it was MY first time here was very dry and salty. My son’s chicken tenders were almost inedible and the French fries were soft and tasted like the oil needed to be changed about a week ago. There was no sour cream in the entire building for the baked potatoes. How does that happen? Now, 3 hours later… I decided to write a review because I can’t sleep. The gut bomb has exploded for ALL of us. I will not be back. I was so excited to FINALLY get to visit and it was a massive let down.

Celebrating birthdays… until… Actually this was the WORSTFOODEVER! Change of ownership was quite evident. Got there at 6pm, didn’t get seated until almost 8. Food came out near 9pm and it was INEDIBLE! The manager, if you can call her that, had no customer service skills whatsoever! She even said the food was bad and only took off $ 60 off our $ 117 bill and left a check for $ 47 for food we couldn’t even eat. We ended up walking out with 5 hungry kids and 3 angry adults… without paying. This is not the WFF that we all used to love. NEVERGOINGBACK! So disappointed that this Denver landmark is ruined for me and my family.

We waited to be seated for 1.5 hours when we were told it would be within 30 minutes. We have a 2 and 3 yr old, so this really put a strain on things. I’m still shocked that we waited it out. After being seated, the service was extremely terrible. We waited 15 minutes in between seeing our server, so we never got any of the side dish refills, or drink refills for that matter. They also informed us that they ran out of milk the day before… how is that possible. It’s going to be a long time before we come back, which is sad. To management: Please find someone who knows something about operations management and customer service.

We visited on November 7th. Best fried chicken I’ve had since 2002. Service was very good considering how busy it was on a Saturday evening. We added 8 kids to the large, family filled back room, door#3 I think. John was the best! He took great care of our party and went over and above to make our meal and visit to Denver a little better. I appreciate his attitude and sense of urgency; many 16 – 30 year olds could learn from him. The rest of the staff we interacted with were pleasant with us and worked efficiently. Thanks John and the rest of the staff; we had a great time!

We came, we saw. We had the fried chicken. White Fence Farm is exactly what I expected it to be. The fried chicken is good. The sides are plentiful, but we didn’t eat the bean salad(not our thing). The cole slaw is similar to KFC style with very finely chopped cabbage. The corn fritters were a hit, but I only found one that had corn in it. Perhaps corn prices are up? I put some cottage cheese(the fourth side) on my baked potato. Service was great, and the atmosphere is nice. Our meal was pricey(around $ 60 for three of us), but the place is worth a visit because the setting is so nice. It really is a farm. The restaurant is huge, and well-organized. I’d like to see more/different/higher quality sides, but I suspect their current«charming» model is working just fine for them. I’d visit White Fence Farm again, but it isn’t the kind of joint that you visit just for the food. Honestly, $ 20 per plate(with beverage) is better in other restaurants, but those places don’t have the atmosphere or experience of White Fence Farm.

Great spot for a family style meal. I grew up eating fried chicken and mashed potatoes every Sunday and this place reminds me of home. I don’t fry food so we come here 1 – 2 times per year for our fried chicken fix. I also like their liver and onions. Another meal from my childhood. Excellent place to bring your children. Plan an extra hour just to play on the playground, feed the animals, explore the farm and hit the indoor slide. Try to come when the weather is nice outside. Save room for fudge from the little fudge shoppe and candy store if you don’t binge on the corn fritters during dinner.

I remember White Fence Farm being such an amazing experience as a kid and still a fairly decent experience into my late teens and twenties… I suppose I’ve aged a bit because now that I’m in my 30s… I lump this place into the same category as Casa Bonita. The food for the price leaves a whole lot to be desired. I think the draw is the attraction like establishments sprinkled throughout the grounds. If kitschy restaurants are what you fancy then by all means pay White Fence Farm a visit but if you’re expecting something a little more substantial, you’d be just as well suited visiting another more franchise like establishment.

I had never been to the White Fence Farm. I am a native Coloradan, but had never had the experience of going there until this past weekend. My boyfriend and his family have lived in the Lakewood area for most of their lives and the White Fence Farm was always a place they went for family get together’s or for special occasions. I had the chance to go with my boyfriend and his grandmother on Saturday and had a great time. His grandmother has been going to the White Fence Farm for over 60 years and according to her, nothing has changed, it is still a great place to go. She had heard rumors that the food was different and not as good due to a change in ownership. People told her the prices had increased and that the overall atmosphere was not the same. She and my boyfriend were pleasantly surprised to see that nothing had changed and the food was as good as ever! The hostess was very nice when she seated us and brought two pillows for my boyfriends grandmother to sit on. They definitely cater to an older clientele and it shows in how they treat them. It is the kind of place where families have been coming for generations and they know that treating our elders right is the key to repeat business. The food was great! It reminded me of my time spent in Oklahoma as a kid and being on my uncle’s farm and eating my grandmother’s home cooking. This was the kind of food that was served on Sunday after going to church. Good traditional American dishes that anyone who has grown up on a farm or in the Mid-West can appreciate. It brought back a lot of fond memories for me. We did the«Family Style» meal which included all-you-can-eat side salads, corn fritters and fried chicken. The food was all amazing and we had seconds as well as thirds! The chicken was moist, juicy and fried just right. The cottage cheese and the cole slaw were like crack, I just kept going back for more. The corn fritters are just fried yumminess with powdered sugar, a little sweat and a little savory. Good, plain, simple food that hits you in your heart and brings back the past. Our waitress, Cindy was very nice. She made sure our drinks were always full and that we never had an empty side on the table. She made my boyfriends grandmother feel very welcome and she spent time listening to her stories about coming in the past and made sure she was taken care of. She was very personable. My nephew who is eight is going to love the White Fence Farm when he comes out to visit next summer. There are so many things for kids to do, the petting zoo, the indoor slide, the waterside walk and the grounds in general. I have a feeling that this is going to be the start of a family tradition that we will carry on for years to come. I am so glad I finally had the chance to go to the White Fence Farm and this was definitely not the last time. I will be back again. Thanks for the fun experience!

Been here several times over the course of my 30+ years, and have never been disappointed. The chicken is good, the hush puppies are good, and the staff is great. The whole experience of White Fence Farm is unique. I like it.

Thursday 6PM. Good ‘ol fashion country fried chicken restaurant with all you can veggie sides(cole slaw, mash potatoes with gravy, beets fritters, and red beans). This place reminds me of «Chicken restaurant at Knots Berry Farm». Indeed the fried chicken dinner was outstanding, and the service prompt, courteous and attentive. They brought out more sides veggie dishes several times too. This is not a fancy food restaurant, more toward family oriented dinning with plaground and pond on property. However the food is fresh, cooked when ordered, delicious and filling. Plenty of left over chicken to bring home in a plastic bag.

We went here on July 30th with a party of 6 adults &1 child. I made reservations and given a number so we can listen for it. For those needing visual help they have a way to accommodate that. They also have Braille menus available. While waiting for our dinner reservations there is plenty to occupy our time(old fashioned candy store, toy store, play area, duck pond, chicken/hen show) All 6 adults ordered the«Family Style Farm Chicken» which $ 15.95 it comes with family style sides(homemade cottage-cheese, homemade fritters, homemade cole slaw, homemade beans, homemade beets). Food is great, they are very organized when seating guests. Towards the end of the meal our waitress, Becky gave the child a wooden token to redeem for a good bag. The prizes for kids are separated into two genders & bags are properly labeled. PROS — plenty of FREE parking — plenty of things to do — costumer service CONS — hours of operation

Always good good a fun place to eat. They are doing some remodeling so can’t wait to see the changes. My one wish for this place would be that they would start serving breakfast. Then you just couldn’t beat it.

I’ve been going to White Fence Farm since my kids were little — over 20 years. The food is still«down home» good and they use Red Bird chicken — which is a huge plus. The grounds are still beautiful and well maintained but the new owners have added lots of retail area. It’s kind of like a Cracker Barrel on steroids. The live music outside in the gazebo was really nice and I’m sure the inside live music was good too but they were packing up when I got there. They’re going to be opening a satellite location in Green Valley which would be good for the food but not the atmosphere. All in all, it’s a really fun day with good food and great corn fritters.

Have you ever seen Mama’s Family? Well, inside this place totally reminded of the tv show. Pink and flowery wall paper up the yin yang and classic kitchen tables and chairs. It’s actually a huge place and fun to go to. Anyways…the food. I got the turkey which came with stuffing and cranberry sauce… oh and gravy. My friend got the fried chicken. Both were around $ 16. The confusing part, which I loved the most, is that the sides come family style and you don’t have a choice. You get beets(YUM), corn fitters(YUM), kidney bean salad(YUM), cole slaw(YUM) and cottage cheese… ok! You can get as much as you want as long as you finish what you have. You then get to pick your starch, so I picked mashed potatoes which were very yummy and if you have room, these are never ending also. Unfortunately it was raining when I went there so I didn’t get to explore thegrounds where you can see some animals and such, but they do have a candy and gift shop as well.

This is a staple in our family, Christmas Eve dinner is always here and we visit 6 – 10 times during the year. We were so glad that the new owners didn’t make any negative or drastic changes. On to the food. Getting so many salads, and unlimited, is perfect for the picky eater, something for everyone. Bottomless fritters(that will start a fight for the last one). The dinners are always consistently good(I can’t remember thinking they are having an off night). Now I have only had the chicken, but other people in our groups have said the other menu options are just as good, and I believe them. The atmosphere is always warm and inviting. The live music is great to listen to while waiting for a table, and you will wait, but it is so worth it! The stores and farm are a great way to walk off the dinner(which we always eat to much of). The horse drawn carriage ride is a must as well. We will always enjoy our visits here and upon leaving, I start looking forward to the next visit immediately.

I simply do not know what to make of this place. This was by far the strangest experience I had at a restaurant. I came here the other night to celebrate my brother-in-law’s anniversary. Driving up to the restaurant, my initial thoughts were that this place was very elegant and nice. When I walked in my opinions changed. The place was massive and I did not realize it was actually a farm. I believe there are places where kids can pet and feed the animals(It was a rainy night and I did not get a chance to explore). It’s a very family-oriented place; the all American place to go filled with mismatched American memorabilia. Honestly, it feels as if you are stuck in time or went to visit your grandma’s house with all of her little nick-nacks. The restaurant portion of the place is tucked throughout several rooms. The way they call reservations are a bit strange as well. They write your party name and project it on a t.v. monitor with various numbers. I did not understand it and luckily, I just went with the crowd. The restaurant is pretty outdated, but it has a nice homey feel. The waiter and servers are also very VERY friendly and accommodating. With such a large party we had, they were very patient. I enjoyed the service a lot, but I cannot say the same for the food. They had brought out bottomless sides which is a good and bad thing. The corn fritters are amazing; so delicious that you cannot stop eating them. Also, they are probably not the healthiest food choice. The other sides did not make sense to me: pickled beets, kidney-bean salad, and coleslaw. These sides are not what I am accustomed to and the flavors together do not sit very well for me. It may in fact be a very traditional American meal that I was not raised with. Later, they brought out the mashed potatoes and the infamous fried chicken. Both were okay. Nothing to amazing to rave about. Overall, if you have kids this place is fun and great, but if you don’t, try it once for the unique experience.
