Established in 2000.

In San Francisco we started the business in 2000, I have been working in Denver since fall 2010.

Genevieve is an incredible painter! I requested an ombré wall and she was flexible on my color preferences and very enjoyable to work with. The end result was more than I could ever hope for! And for well beyond what she charges. She not only has mastered larger canvases, she is exceptional at accent pieces. I requested a parrot on the corner of a door post and it is as if a real one is perched there. I will be hiring her from here on out for professional and unique paint jobs. Wow.

Magpie Painting did an AMAZING job for me! I had her paint my kitchen cabinets and it made a world of difference! She helped me pick a color, made me samples, and spent the time to make sure everything was perfect! She even offered to come back anytime to fix up any chips! I would definitely use her again and refer to anyone looking for a painter!

She really deserves 5 stars. I had a room with a wall in the middle of it that had no purpose at all. Too small for a sculpture and too busy for art, I didn’t know what to do with it. She created a beautiful mural that makes the room. And the cost was great.
She also showed up on time, finished on time and was a pleasure to have in my home.

Genevieve donated a painted children’s step stool for my daughter’s school fundraiser. She created a beautiful design consisting of owls and woodland creatures that enchanted my children and appealed to my husband and I as well. We wanted it for our home! The artistic quality of her decorative painting on the stool was exceptional. The whimsical creatures were painted with lovely detail and colors. What was really neat was that she had made it functional as well. The glaze she put on it will not wear away like the cheap painted stepstool we have which now looks awful in our bathroom. Unfortunately, someone else got the stool at the auction! I will absolutely commission Genevieve for other projects in the future.
