Flooded basement? Need water damage restoration? We are a locally-​owned and operated company with 19 years of experience. Project X will handle all of your property damage restoration needs 24 hours a day/​365 days a year. We provide free estimates Monday through Friday between 8:00 and 5:00. Our services include water damage restoration, mold remediation, fire damage restoration, bio-​hazard clean-​up, trauma clean up, flooring installation, carpet cleaning, remodeling, drywall, demolition, and structural drying.

History

Established in 2011.

Project X Restoration was founded here in Denver, Colorado by Daniel Ortiz in 2011. The name Project X came from the idea of unexpected projects. No one plans on having a water damage, fire damage or mold remediation. Most property owners don’t set aside a budget for the unexpected projects, therefore it’s a Project X. I cannot thank Danny and his team enough. They were QUICK, professional, and so easy to work with. We had water coming out of our ceiling and his team was out here the same day to get dryers and dehumidifiers going. The plumbers took forever and Project X was patient and ready to go once they were done. I cannot thank you guys enough. Don’t even bother calling anyone else. Best team in town!

We had a home flood in the midst of all the other home floods. They came out and assessed the damage, and apologized that all of their equipment was out at other sites. The owner came by that night and dropped off a dehumidifier and fan. They also acknowledged we were on a very tight timeline (home due to close in less than a week) and managed to get a painting crew in quickly. First rate work.

We are so upset. We called based on Unilocal and Google reviews. Turns out some of the reviews are from employees? Project started but never completed. It has been over two weeks. We are getting nothing but the run around. We will be filing a complaint with BBB immediately. Don’t believe all of the positive reviews. Look at the reviewers and then call the company. They work there. What a scam! The absolute worst service. Expectations were not met. Every excuse in the book for the delays. Meanwhile the house is a mess and there is no firm end in sight. No one has any information when you talk to them, even the Owner! Stay away if you have expectations of a timely clean up, it has been way too long and now we have no choice but to wait.

I had an unfortunate event of a pipe breaking and a flooded basement. We immediately contacted the Project X team their action was immediate! David Ortiz came out outlined their plan and provided detail explanation of what was happening and why. He lead the team to meet all the timelines explained and missed nothing… a true customer oriented person and team.
They were at my home quickly took extreme care of my home by covering flooring while moving equipment in and followed up daily until the area was completely set! Since I travel for work I had a piece of mind trusting my home with this team.
Shannell was a pleasure to work with accurate invoicing and assisting through the insurance paperwork process… which can be painful :)
I will be a return customer should I have an unfortunate event and need the services again
