Absolutely nothing to write home about. It’s a place you go to once in awhile if its been forever since you were last there. I don’t like when places don’t give sides like french fries for a burger, and its some annoying extra charge to add on.

The food here is mediocre and the dining area is much too dark for my liking.

Had not been for awhile, due to my gluten free diet! So, happy to know they have a full gluten free menu! It was wonderful!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Stueben’s is my favorite restaurant in Colorado and one of my favorite restaurants ever(which is impressive coming from Chicago). Whenever I have friends or family visiting I bring them here because I know the food and service will be great every time. They are always extremely catering to my food allergies(gluten, dairy and eggs) and even have allergen free menus. The food is always fresh and cooked to order, the cocktails are perfect and the wait staff really goes out of there way to make your dining experience memorable. The food is extremely high quality without insane prices and a comfortable, casual atmosphere to match. I have never had anything I disliked here, but recently I tried the mussels and they were incredible and a huge portion size. You really can’t go wrong with anything here though.

Painfully inconsistent. I went a week ago and brunch was very good, but this morning it was disappointing. I, again, ordered the classic benny(eggs benedict). The server asked how I wanted the eggs poached. It seemed an odd question, because the only way is soft, or a little runny. The server agreed. I’ve never been asked how I wanted the eggs prepared on an eggs benedict. So it was surprising when the eggs arrived with solid yokes. Then I noticed there was minimal hollandaise sauce, which was delicious, but just too little of it. The coup de grâce, though, were the hashbrowns. They were cooked too long, having developed a hard brown shell. But it was the massive dose of salt that made them barely edible. One last sour note. The week before, the server pushed the monkey bread, something new they were trying out. We gave it a shot.(The table next to us made the same mistake, but pawned theirs off on another unsuspecting table.) The server really wanted to know what we thought, so we told him the truth: it was dry and cold in the middle. But no comp. We took it home, but eventually threw it away. The service was excellent. When it comes to the food, however, cross your fingers you get the good Steuben’s.

Visited on a Friday afternoon right before happy hour at 2. Parking lot is small with compact spots but there’s plenty of parking available off the street too. Going in, it wasn’t as busy as I expected. I was seated right away. The hostess and waitress were very nice and the service was great. I ordered a large mac & cheese after hearing so many rave reviews about it. It was good but it wasn’t the best. My friend asked for vegetarian suggestions and ordered both the waitress’ recommendations: brussels sprouts and falafel. She couldn’t decide which one she liked best! Kudos to our waitress. Pretty cheap drink specials during happy hour. I’ll definitely be back to drink and eat more comfort food off the menu. Cheers!

Went here for dinner a couple nights ago and it was great. We were looking for some good comfort food in the cold weather and this place did the trick! For a Monday night the place seemed very busy. The Order: Gravy Cheese Fries — These were good, not great. I enjoyed them but the rest of the table didn’t. I think everyone wanted the fries to be crispy and these were soft and limp. I’m not sure I’d order them again. Tomato Soup — I ordered a cup. It was perfect. It’s exactly the way you want your tomato soup to be, not too thick, not too runny. Herb Roasted Chicken — Man, this was very good. Not a piece of chicken was left from this dish. It probably was the best thing we ate at dinner. The scalloped potatoes were also very good. 100% you should order this. Fried Chicken — This was also really good. Was it the best fried chicken I’ve ever had, no. Would I order it again, yes. Lobster Roll — I destroyed this sandwich. I absolutely loved it. I’m pretty sure you’ll like it too. Order it. Side of Biscuit — yes, do it. Side of Bread n Butter Pickles — YES, DOIT. Butterscotch Pudding — I can’t begin to tell you guys how good this was. It was finished in a minute. We should’ve ordered another one. It was that good. ORDERTWO. Coconut Cake — This was also good, but I don’t think anyone cared about it after tasting the pudding. I’ll be back the next time I’m in Denver.

A solid choice for brunch with comfort food. Waking up Saturday morning, two of my guy friends and I were famished and after I exclaimed I would die if Atomic cowboy(our first choice) had a long wait, My friend suggested this place and at 11 there was no wait at all! The heavens were smiling down. I got the chorizo Benny and it was legit. A perfect portion that went well with my coffee. Got to try my friends waffles and also was pleased. I love this part of town right by my office. I want to come back in the summer to enjoy the patio!

It’s been a long hiatus since I’ve been to Steuben’s, but an impromptu brunch on Saturday brought a much-needed return. Nothing has changed. This place is still fantastic. Even better is that there wasn’t a b.s. two hour Snooze wait. I’ve only been for dinner, so a brunch was a new experience, and it didn’t disappoint. My two friends, who I believe haven’t been here before, were equally impressed. My friend went with my usual Chicken and Waffles approach, which he dug a lot. I tried a Chorizo and Avocado Eggs Benedict… The picture is as good as it tastes. Glad to see this place is keeping strong.

Steuben’s…oh how I once loved you. Me and my girlfriend were regulars at this place until recently. I came here with my family and they are fairly picky bunch, so I had some convincing to do before we decided to make the trip. Once we got there, I ordered the Tri-tip steak and I was pretty disappointed. It tasted like it was cooked half ass, then thrown under a heat lamp. I kept asking my family how they liked theirs to hopefully get some positive reviews. They said they liked it, but in a «I’m your mom and I don’t want to hurt your feelings» type of way. Even my girlfriend said her Salmon was too salty and undersized. It was like every truth I once knew was now shattered. Are we at Steuben’s? Did we somehow end up at the wrong place? No, the menu says Steuben’s, what the hell is going on? This isn’t the place I fell in love with. We used to love this place, but now I’m a little disappointed with this past experience. I can’t decide if I should give steubs another shot, for my heart has been broken. The pain is well… too much. If you’re reading this review, just go. It was delicious the first 10 times I had it. My ego is just bruised and it may never recover.

Delicious drinks, yummy apps, and comfort food. Tables turn over pretty quickly, and there is a private parking lot.(Though, it’s usually so busy, I have to find street parking). Tips: 1) Ask about«off menu» drinks that feature your favorite spirit. I prefer vodka, and tried both drinks featured on the cocktail menu(moscow mule and raspberry lime rickey). Both were good, but the«trying to be turquoise»(or something like that) was fantastic. 2) get the brussels. DOIT. deviled eggs are also fantastic. 3) desserts are big enough to share with the entire table.

Delicious and simple food. I finally made it over to Steuben’s and was impressed by the food. It isn’t fancy or adventurous but it is excellent food. I had the feta and watermelon salad which I could eat every day if I was close enough to this place. I also took a biscuit on the side because I couldn’t help myself. The quality of the ingredients and the simplicity of their approach makes this place what it is.

Really good soul food! Everyone in our group left absolutely stuffed. The soups here are awesome — I ordered the french onion and it was on point! The cheese was so melty and gooey, it might have been one of the best bowls of soup I’ve had. The others in my group had the tortilla soup and the green chili stew and both finished their bowls to the last drop! The iceberg salad was also awesome — served with a pepperoncini which I thought was different and added great flavor. Excellent cocktail and beer menu… overall a great, intimate restaurant! Tip #1: They have a really cute heated patio that’s solar powered… we weren’t cold at all despite it being December! Tip #2: They’re located right next to a bike rental location — very convenient!

Everything at Steuben’s is great! It’s in a great neighborhood and has a really nice outdoor area that’s great for Colorado weather. Try the Mac N Cheese, Brussel Sprouts, and basically anything on their brunch menu. They also have a food truck that roams around Colorado that offers the same great food.

They have over 1500 reviews for a reason! Looks like your neighborhood joint but the food is on the spot. Not too crazy or complicated but what they do have on their menu hits the spot. We had a gluten free crowd and the waitress made recommendations on dishes they could alter for us as well as meals that didn’t have any wheat containing ingredients(chilaquiles!!!). Whatever you do, try their chocolate peanut butter cheesecake! It is served on a gluten free brownie(too die for!) and garnished with candied cashews and a passion fruit glaze. Very very very good.

I guess this was the late night spot to be. It was packed when we got there. Everyone was in good spirits. The staff is nice but the food was kind of disappointing. Got their gravy cheese fries. The cheese wasn’t melted and it almost looked fake. Gravy tasted weird but they were generous with their servings. Chicago dog was bomb– but it’s hard to ruin a Chicago dog. I got their seafood etoufee. It was decent but lacked in spice. I will usually eat left overs but this stuff went straight in the trash

I thought the restaurant was an old diner, and disappointed to find that it opened more recently in 2006. I enjoyed the vintage looking décor, but the food was gross. I ordered a BLT that came with potato chips, and a side of Mac and cheese. It was just greasy and pretty flavorless, pretty disappointing. I wouldn’t waste my money there again.

I rarely rate places five stars, but our recent brunch experience at Steuben’s was basically as good as it gets. It was pretty busy since it was a beautiful Saturday, but we were seated comfortable on the patio after a couple of minutes. The staff kindly valet parked my scooter for me after I explained I’d rather sit in a regular chair and didn’t want it to be in anyone’s way. This is such a mega bonus for me, as it’s usually super awkward trying to find a place to put it by myself and sometimes the wait staff just doesn’t know how to handle it. The water was super cold and the table and silverware was super clean(something random I have started to notice at places around here) But the food, oh my god. I had the Bacon Bloody Mary, which I honestly think might be the best I’ve ever had, and I have tried a LOT of bloody Mary’s all over the country. It was the perfect balance of spice, and wasn’t «chunky,» which I am not a fan of. We also got the deviled eggs, which were gone in about 3 minutes, and I had the lox and bagel, and the boyfriend got the Chilequiles. The bagel and salmon was absolutely gorgeous, and reasonably priced. Sometimes salmon can be a little lackluster or have some gray pieces but this literally looked like art, and they informed me they make the lox in house from Alaskan salmon. Coming from New England, I was a little worried I would not be able to find good Salmon, but Steuben’s rose to the challenge. I can honestly say this was the best brunch we have since we have been in Uptown, and I know we will be back. This is a favorite for sure!!!

Having seen Steuben’s highlighted on Eater’s Denver Hot 38 list my visit on a Sunday afternoon was shrouded in hype, and while my experience was a good one, the dishes didn’t quite live up to my sky-high expectations. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? One thing I will say about Steuben’s is that the service and atmosphere were top notch. Sure, this was a Summer afternoon so the outdoor seating was wonderful, but the indoor spread was fantastic as well. Fast and friendly service paired a great brunch menu that blended classics with favorites that I’d seen online. What more could you ask for? Star Granted. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? Value was for sure the highlight of my visit. Given the popularity of Steuben’s, I was fully expecting $ 15+ dishes across the board, and I was absolutely floored when my Cubano sandwich was only $ 10, my Dad’s burger only $ 12, and my large portion of mac n cheese only $ 4. Four dollars? Brilliant. Value across the board. Star Granted. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? Was it good? It was good. Was it among the best meals I’ve had? It wasn’t, and I’m about to tell you why. We’ll start with my mac n cheese, which, while good, was simply a bit plain. The cheese was great and the pasta perfectly cooked, but it simply didn’t have that wow factor that’s commonplace these days with mac n cheese dishes. Bacon? Green chilis? buffalo chicken maybe? The dish simply could have used something more. Now, my Cubano sandwich was better, but still not among the best I’ve had. The ham was excellent, but the pork was pretty dry, and while Cuban sandwiches are commonly pressed similar to a panini, my flaky roll was simply a bit too big for the sandwich. My Dad said his green chili cheeseburger was good, but lacked the zing that you’d expect from more or less anything with green chili in the name. Good dishes across the board, but nothing incremental over A-OK in my book. Single Star Granted. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? The menu at Steuben’s is great, and the service, atmosphere, and especially the value is fantastic, but there are simply better dining options in Denver that I’d recommend over Steuben’s given my one experience. No Star Granted.

Why 4 stars? Because it was great for our late-night occasion. — — — Post-driving back from Aspen Pre-red eye flight back to Tampa We did quite a bit of research on the long drive from Aspen, and Steuben’s seemed to be our best bet. It’s probably the coolest diner you’ll ever visit. And their late hours could not have been more clutch for us, considering that many of the nearby businesses were already closed, late on a Sunday night. Because we are sheep, my fiancé and I ordered the lobster roll, and the fried chicken — two of the most Unilocaled about items. I know lobster rolls in Denver in December probably aren’t ideal, but it’s physically painful for me to NOT order the lobster roll when it’s on a menu. It was probably as good as it gets when you’re 2,000+ miles away from New England. The, then girlfriend, now fiancé enjoyed her chicken and biscuit much to the same tune. I love the style of Steuben’s. It feels like a diner in 1967. My word-association with Steuben’s is Miller Lite. I think about those throwback cans and old school commercials from a simpler time, and I think about Steuben’s. We’d definitely visit again!
