Established in 2013.

Sweet Butter Books was founded in 2013 by Zane Harris. Initially, Sweet Butter Books focused on serving web developers and other members of the start-​up community. Now, the accountants, bookkeepers, and CPAs at SBB serve a variety of businesses ranging from small law firms to multi-​million dollar consulting companies. We are able to assist clients with all of their accounting needs including quarterly and annual income taxes, sales tax filings and deposits, bookkeeping, payroll, and invoicing, as well as small business startup for new ventures!

Zane H.

Manager

Zane is the CEO at Sweet Butter Books. Prior to forming SBB, Zane served as the senior accountant at a multi-​million dollar software consulting company. Zane has a law degree from the University of Florida and a masters degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

I was in distress over my QuickBooks issues and tax deadlines & called Zane at SBBs just hoping for a call back yesterday. Zane patiently listened to my rambling description of problems and Tom, their CPA in the NW suburbs was at my door the same morning! My problems were all solved by Noon and I am headed to the Mountains this weekend! Sweet! These accountants are professional, and they care about their customers. If you want personalized service at a good price, see Zane with Sweet Butter Books. I had 2 state returns and a lot of questions. Zane was great at communicating and addressing all of my concerns in a timely manner. Zane and her team are phenomenal. My taxes were a complete and utter mess, and there is no way I would’ve been able to sort them out myself. I’m not a tax dude and the notion of filing them myself (especially with my situation) was terrifying.
