Tea for Ewe

I am loving Tea for Ewe more and more. Whenever I get confused on my knitting, they help me. I went today to go fix my knitting and met wonderful people making blankets for cancer patients. The camaraderie of people that go to knit, crochet, needle-​point and drink tea makes me love humanity.

What a great spot! I love tea, she loves to knit, this store seems made for us. Love the selection of yarn and the classes available. We would be here all the time if we lived on this side of town!

An ADORABLE store with very friendly staff. They don’t have the biggest selection of yarns, but they have plenty of pretty stuff that I don’t see at a lot of other yarn stores. Including a nice selection of the square needles!
Awesome selection of tea mugs (ceramic and travel), tea infusers, tea pots, etc. Lots of loose leaf teas. Also a nice selection of knitting accessories.
There is a little seating area, if you’re so inclined to have a cup of tea and knit for a bit! (Free street parking! bonus star!)

Sweet atmosphere, kind person behind the counter, and pretty yarn… but I’m a serious tea drinker, and the iced tea (even though already cold, brewed and chilled earlier) was REALLY watered down – most definitely not worth $ 4, even if you think one cup of tea should ever be that expensive!!! I actually didn’t finish it.

Gorgeous little shop. I personally could care less about both yarn and tea, but my wife fell in love. One whole wall is covered in spools of yarn and I have to admit they have some beautiful colors and interesting textures. The other wall has shelves of tea. As I said, my wife was in love. I’m giving it 5 stars because not only did she have a good time, but they had a couch I could sit down on while my wife was shopping. I always appreciate that.

I think this place is more like a 4, but I think it’s absolutely absurd for someone to give an establishment 3 stars just because they weren’t seeking the (very obvious) wares within, so I’m trying to get a better average going.
As far as local yarn shops go, the inventory is a bit wanting in terms of volume, but the quality of what they have is outstanding. I found several unique fibers that I haven’t seen anywhere such as yarn made from recycled jeans and «milky whey» a yarn composed of milk protein and soy which runs through the fingers like chinchilla silk.
Their wall of yarn is arranged by color which was a departure from what I’m accustomed to in LYSs, but was very aesthetically pleasing.
I loved the varied teas offered and the clever accessories for tea lovers. If you’re in the market for a gift for either a tea person or a yarn person (BOOYAH if your gift recipient is BOTH) this is absolutely the place to go.
The staff was friendly and not pushy, I didn’t feel judged the moment I entered (as a twenty something knitter some yarn places give off a «really? you?» smug skepticism) which is always a plus. For their size I was impressed with the array of notions available for both knitting and crocheting.
Overall I think it’s an excellent addition to the fiber scene and I can’t wait to go back. I’m hoping that with more time and business their inventory will blossom and offer even more unique and lovely fibers.

If you are seeking tea or yarn, I would say: highly recommended.
Friendly. Yes. Owner was great.
Cute. Yes.
Welcoming décor. Yes. Sunflowers and patio.
My problem is: they sell two things I will never buy — yarn and tea.
I have no way to judge the products.
This is not a «boy’s» store. Maybe if they sold cold beer. $ 2 PBRs would get me to 4+ stars.

I wandered in to this little shop’s «soft» opening this morning. Very sleek and clean with a vast array of teas and tea accessories. I’m not sure that Tennyson needs another tea shop however the addition of beautiful yarns (hence the Tea for «Ewe») is a definite plus for the neighborhood. Robbie, the owner told me that she plans on adding knitting classes for all experience levels. I believe that she also plans ona adding soaps and gift items. Lovely patio out front.
