Meet the Business Owner
Dana D.
Business Owner
I started practicing Pilates after sustaining a spinal injury in a car accident. I tried many forms of therapy, but Pilates was the only one that seemed to help in a long-term way. After about five years of studying Pilates as a student, I realized I would need to practice it forever. This inspired me to share with others what had helped me so much.
I have studied thousands of hours of Pilates from multiple teachers, physical therapists, and movement educators. For the past five years, I’ve worked in the field in PT clinics and at top local studios, and I’ve developed my professional skills while I’ve continued to practice Pilates for my own injuries. Because I came to Pilates as the result of being injured, I deeply understand how difficult it can be to start a movement rehabilitation process, and I will always be sensitive to your particular needs.
I completed a local 500-hour teacher training in 2008, and since then I have completed hundreds of hours of continuing education.
