History

Established in 1999.

Ng Translators was formed as the recent wave of Russian and Ukrainian immigrants began. Realizing the diversity these cultures provided, it was obvious that the Russian and Ukrainian community needed a voice, that would allow them to interact with many of the businesses and services provided by the LOCAL community. Streamlining the process to assimilation and helping both the Russian and Ukrainian speaker.

Nadia a Russian-​Ukrainian immigrant remembers her transition as she and her family immigrated from Ukraine to the United States. She recalls her challenges of fitting in.

Her family having moved to the Greater Boston Area — Manchester, NH. Nadia claimed her position in the community when a fire broke out, threatening the local residents.

Unable to communicate, local police reached out to a Russian Speaker (then in high school) to assist them in reaching out to the families who did not speak English. The end result was a family was saved…
