Staff friendly. Recommended steak and cheese. 9 bucks for a sub. I go to Boston and get fresh superior quality for under 8 bucks. This place is mediocore at best. Subway is better. 2nd time here and last. Pretty gross food, I guess the townies haven’t experienced high quality Merrimack Valley grub. Never again!

We used to love this place but the service has really changed! I stood at the counter for 10 minutes waiting to put in my order while the staff chatted about someone not prepping lettuce. Then they took phone orders before me. I actually called them to put in my order standing at the counter. The subs were not worth the aggravation.

Went to USA subs a couple of Sundays ago. I was last there about a year ago and looked forward to the BOMB. The sub was as good as I remembered. I was surprised as to the cleanliness of the place(Or lack their of). I saw that the vents in the prep area was dusty, the bathroom doors were filthy and generally not clean. Compared to the last time I was there when it was spotless. Will make me a bit Leary to go anytime soon now that I am in the area again.

I’ve eaten here over the past 20 years whenever I was living in NH. They make the best subs around in my humble opinion. I esepcailly like the chicken bomb or steak bomb, depending on my taste at the time. They have a large variety of traditional and some specialty sandwiches to choose from as well as soups, salads, French fries, etc. Great place, if in Derry, give it a try.

I don’t understand any of these complaints, I use to drive up here when nothing was around, and it was a great place back then, Moved to derry in 99, it is about the only place I will eat on a steady basis, if you want the Crusty Hot bread for a Cold Cut sub, they do that, they do about anything you ask, but know what, ASKPEOPLE, just know that if your thinking of going for the first time, No they don’t have much in extras, but French fries, but, they are a sub shop and one of the best, their mayonnaise is to die for, which makes their Tuna Delish, their Meatball sub is pretty darn good, and the 5.99 large 14 inch Ham and Cheese has become my addiction, I am in there almost every afternoon grabbing one, sure the rest seem a little pricey but seriously, try looking around, also some of the complaints, SOGGY??? ask for Lite then, want extra, ask, they are more then willing to cater to any desire, or at least they have for me, 17 years and I cant remember once being Not satisfied EXCEPT when someone used the Regular bread instead of the Hot Sub Bread for the Steak and Cheese, wow, once in 17 years, yeah,

I’ve had more than 100 subs over 15 years from USA Subs and they were almost always very good. Good wheat rolls. Hot subs have always been well-cooked and tasty. Cold subs are usually fully filled with meat and veggies and they have a lot of choices. The food has always been fresh. Price has always been a little bit more than national chains but the food was better as well. I get subs«to go» as the store is small and can get crowded with customers.

The Best subs and salads in the area. USA Subs has a large varity of sandwiches to choose from as well as salads, soups, chips and fries. They will take care of any special requests you have. You can make ans sub into a salad or design your own version of sub or salad. Great staff, friendly and professional. Great food for a good price. Always fresh and homemade. If you have a problem with a sub like some reviews have said that they have had. USA Subs will fix it or give you a refund. This is what they do, take care of their customers. They do not know that there is an issue unless you speak up.

I’ve never felt so ripped off by a food place or been so angry about the quality of my food. Got a Chicken Parm sub and a Steak Bomb. Steak Bomb was bland as could be and the bread was soaked and soggy with grease. But the Chicken takes the cake. I don’t know what the heck it was. If I had to describe it, I would say some sort of foam, like a memory foam mattress, drenched in water until it became a soggy mass and then coated in some sort of soggy, flavorless breading. It was absolutely disgusting. I took 2 bites and couldn’t stomach anymore. It’s worse quality than a McDonald’s chicken nugget and it was over $ 9! Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. What’s with all the hype over this place? Clearly the locals have never eaten at a decent sub shop.

There are plenty of sub shops in Derry, and this is the only one I go to. They are 100% consistent each time I order, they are very friendly, fast and efficient. I typically get the same order(roast beef or italian), but they are spot on with all of their food. We have used them for big orders during Football season and we’ve never had a complaint. They also have call ahead for pickup, which not all places offer this service.

OMG I love, love usa subs… Their ham and cheese is sooo good $ 5.99 for 14 inch is so cheap. Also I’m addicted to their steak & cheese. I come down from Salem for lunch everyday. Love it!

Hate leaving a bad review but I wasn’t impressed with an Italian sub I got today. Really cheap with the meat portions. Pretty disappointed so won’t be ordering that again. But the people are nice there, they pay attention to what you order(specifics I mean) and work quickly… so I’ll go again… just won’t get that particular sub.

We decided on subs for our New Years Eve meal. We were going to be in the Derry area so checked Unilocal, this place got 4 stars. Anything above 3, we typically find to be decent, so we settled on ordering from USA subs. Called to place an order on the way(we were about 20 minutes out) and the phone was busy for a solid 15 minutes. Then it rang, and rang, and rang, and rang… we decided since we were almost there, we’d swing by to make sure they weren’t closed.(An earlier call revealed they were open until 7, it was now 6:30.) Got there, and there were about 5 people working behind the counter. We were greeted promptly, and they got started on our 4-person order immediately. We had our order in less than 10 minutes. If we were basing this review on customer service alone, it would be getting 5 stars. Super friendly and efficient staff, but we all know it’s about the food. I ordered an Italian sub. It was very soggy — it was drenched in oil and vinegar. It was pretty much inedible. Kids got a chicken caesar sub and a meatball. One said the chicken caesar was«okay.» The one with the meatball said it tasted like«plain hamburger on a bun with flavorless sauce. No seasoning.» Trying a bite confirmed this. My husband got a steak bomb, one of their«famous» ones. If at all possible, it had even less flavor than the meatball. Should have listened to the review that questioned locals’ taste in good food. What a waste of $ 27.00. Very disappointing. Next year, we’ll stick to mediocre Chinese food.

Seems to have stood the test of time. Lots of sub shops come in go in this highly volatile business but this one is here to stay. quality is always consistent and good.

Was visiting the gfs in NH and decided to order out… Got a Steak & Cheese sub it was GREAT… Little too much bread to steak ratio but the steak that was there was DELISH! The soup was sadly not delish… For those that know me know Im a sides girl and this place had NONE, so I had to get something else other than just the sub(its the fat girl side of me)… It was cold & by no means Cheesy… It was Broccoli & Cheese and just not good at all… But the sub was good… Just avoid the soup!

We got the steak & cheese and chicken Parm sub … The loaded steak bomb was good(wish I didn’t get the black olives), the bread was fresh but it didn’t impress. Average to decent. Chicken Parmesan was a chicken nugget sub, Frozen chicken and very salty. Not good. The service was good. Food was prepared quickly and the team was professional. Nothing about USA was exceptional … JAF just another franchise. Based on our visit, it was average at best. MAYBE a step above Subway. They didn’t do anything that made me want to return.
