Beirut Grill

This place opened three blocks from my house a few months back, and I hadn’t tried it until tonight (2÷13÷14). I got a Chicken Shawarma Plate, which came with rice, pickle and pita. I added hummus and two Cokes and it was $ 18. I got a generous portion of moist, delicious chicken off the spit which apparently was mostly white meat, it was some of the best Chicken Shawarma I’ve ever had. It came with a large portion of rice that was delicious but had a sweet/​savory taste that was difficult to pinpoint. We decoded it was kind of like a savory pumpkin/​ginger taste. We had never tasted that combination before and I’m no stranger to Middle Eastern restaurants in this area of Detroit/​Dearborn. The hummus was delicious and they had good garlic too. It also came with fresh pita bread. The guys working were friendly and the place was spotless. The restaurant smells AMAZING inside. If you are in the area check this place out. I doubt you’ll be disappointed.
