History

Established in 1972.

1972 — Robert H. Maxey founded Bob Maxey Lincoln-​Mercury, Inc. and opened at Houston & Whittier in Detroit.

1982 — Bob Maxey Lincoln-​Mercury moved to it’s current location at Mack & Cadieux in Detroit.

2000 — 2003 — Bob Maxey Lincoln-​Mercury had a second store at Gratiot & Twelve Mile in Roseville.

2004 — Bob Maxey Ford, Inc. was opened on Jefferson Avenue in Detroit.

2012 — Bob Maxey Ford of Howell, Inc. was opened on E. Grand River Avenue in Howell.
