«How does Comcast think that raising someones bill in the middle of a 2 yr contract is fair to the customers that they say they value so much. My bill went up for 3 items. My adaptor up 33%, my broadcast fee up 38% and my regional sports fee up 200%. These are outrageous percentage increase amounts even though they only translate into a 5% increase in my total bill. I feel like they are gouging me on these 3 increased items because they can’t raise the $ 69 base bundle package price that they market so aggressively. But they still found a way to raise my bill didn’t they. Needless to say I am sad to admit that that I too was fooled with the 2 year contract gimmick price deal. It’s probably in the fine print of the contract somewhere so I’m sure it’s my fault for not reading every word of it, but I don’t think it is right for them to do business that way. I don’t get stung like this when I deal with any other large companies. Who else would ever try and get away with such large price increases half way through a fixed term contract. I guess signing a contract at a certain monthly price means nothing to Comcast and neither does treating their customers with any integrity once they have «reeled them in».

Great TV, horrible service!!! Tried replacing a box, didn’t work. Tech support tried to fix it, didn’t work. Replaced it 3 times still didn’t work even with tech support help. They scheduled an appointment for someone to be at my house 9:00 Friday, never showed. Scheduled another appointment for Sunday and I guess we’ll see, but I’m not holding my breath.
If you have any options besides Comcast, take them!!! Worst customer service from people you can hardly understand!

All of our Comcast services have failed to work for a good portion of the past few months. Currently our cable hasn’t worked for three days straight. We have called numerous times and have had several agents come to the house with no solution to the problem. I just got off the phone (after 1.5hrs) with a Comcast agent who confirmed that we have called them 61 times over the last three months. I asked her if that is typical of their customers and she responded «well it’s personal preference.» If you don’t prefer to call your internet/​cable company 61 times, then please don’t chose Comcast.

Comcast customer service is terrible! I’ve been without internet for 2 weeks! Comcast was a no show for two scheduled appointments. Although Comcast has consistently inconvenienced me they now want to reschedule the service appointment to Christmas Eve!!! No consideration for the customer’s inconvenience! Hello, ATT…

For years people had told me Comcast is the worst, and for years I had backed them up. All together I have spent about 6 hours on the same problem. My parents, I have had Comcast prevouisly with no problems. I had moved into a two story apartment. I had called at 11 am and informed the representive I had work at 2:30. We talked for 30 minutes and all seemed well then around 1:00 she said she had to check when the next installation could be done she said she had one day for 2 months. So I agreed and then she informed me she needed a supervisor i was on hold from 1 – 2:25 I was walking into work on hold. Then we finally got it set up. She gave me a 6 hour time frame from 11 – 7 for the guy to come. When the Comcast guy came, he wasn’t even in a labeled Comcast vehicle, the only reason i wasn’t super upset is because he came within the first two hours. If I could give 0 stars I would. He came over checked the down stairs signal all was good he went upstairs couldn’t find a signal. He informed me the cable that runs on the outside had been cut during renovation and the only way to get the cable in my apartment was to drill into the siding. My landlord said no as expected. I’m not sure what landlord would be alright with property damage. After that, he left I still had to pay for the installation i had called back and been hung up on multiple times then I called later and got transferred to different people and hung up on for the ninth time that night. So I looked around my apartment and saw that there were wire led through the upstairs window so I refuse to pay for the second instalation. I will update when this all goes through.

I pay a ton of money for the X1 platform in two of my houses. I just want to scream. I spend hours on the phone with reps for not only my malfunctioning internet but cable.
They are the worst. They can’t send someone out for a week and it’s their fault they gave me bad remotes THIS TIME.
Last time it was a bad internet box. The rep who can to fix it showed up a day early two hours before his scheduled time!!! When I received the automated voice message saying you have a service rep coming out today between 12 – 4 I couldn’t believe it but instead of fighting the system I rearranged meetings to be home at that time. Low and behold my valet to my condo I own calls me, «Mrs. Mayer Comcast is here should I let them in to your house?» What?! It’s two plus hours before he should be there.
It’s a monopoly here in Detroit. Where are you Charter? Please PLEASE give them some kind of competition.

Comcast SUCKS big time. Only reason I signed up with them is because they had a good deal and that was back in August of 2014. At first it was good then I noticed charges on my bill I did not occur. After talking with customer service over and over they refused to fix my bill still. Now I am dealing with another headache with them about the package deal i got. The deal was for a year I was told which fit my budget so i went with it. Now 7 months down the line I noticed my bill was higher. I called and they said the deal I signed up for was for only 6 months… BULLCRAP. I was told 12 months. Again they refused to budge on it after I talked with a customer service rep. and a manager. Comcast doesn’t give 2 cents about you. They are the biggest crooks in the business. I am switching from Comcast soon as i find a better company. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT go with comcast they don’t care.

Comcast has the worst customer service no one who works there has a clue about anything their customer service line may as well just go dead like thee service they constantly run ads about dish tv going out in bad weather but what is a bad picture for a couple minutes on dish tv is a whole day out for Comcast with the bonus of having your internet out as well there «techs» are a bunch of clueless apes as well

Worse costumer service, they r thieves charge extra for no good reason and tell you that they will give u credit back in 24 hours, that’s what they told me 4 times alrdy for the past few weeks, they just playing the waiting game for the 30 days return would pass they you won’t have a choice but keep it or pay…
DO NOT GO WITH COMCAST, ANYONE ELSE BUT THEM. going to get the equipment and return it, wow maybe bit more expensive but they won’t try to steal

DON ’ T DO IT I have went round and round with them for over a month about charges on my bill that I did not incur and have ben charged for renting a modem from them for over a year when despite this it was returned, now that I want a credit on my bill they play the waiting on hold game just to test this I called requesting new service for cable and well lol I was on hold for over 45 minutes FOR A NEW CUSTOMER!!! HA if that is any reflection of future service on the cable bill and the service I know on the Internet bill just try wow or at&t

WARNING!!! do not sign their contract!!!
When I discussed their contract with the sales person they assured me that it was only something I needed to sign to get service started. I read the contract and at the bottom there was a separate link of conditions that was not a working link that you had to access on line. That was where all the shade terms were located!!! BEWARE!!! They have really shady business practices and terrible customer service. What happened to our company was completely awful! From the time of installation to even after I returned their equipment… Everything was terrible for real. The installer told me he was coming back the next day because service wasn’t working properly, he never came back… I called and no one could help me. We had 5 boxes set up which seemed unnecessary… The internet came in and out constantly form the first day on. I called several times and no one was ever able to resolve the issue. They even sent out a tech who changed a splitter but the problem persisted so I took their equipment back. They told me they didn’t even recognize the equipment!!! When I asked them was there anything else we needed to do they said «no»… I called Comcast and asked what else needed to be done and they said «nothing». Then they continued billing me every month. When I called about the bill, 3 times no one helped me… Then finally one person told me to email my receipt to them for returning the equipment so I did… No response over one month later so I called yet again!!! This time I was informed of an early termination contract I had to sign in order to stop being billed. This contract says I owe an amount I don’t agree on… but I have to sign it in order to stop being billed for a service I am not using. These are very predatory practices. They also didn’t keep any record of my calls!!! I started service in January, returned the equipment in April and was still being billed into November despite my efforts to contact them! So every time you call them keep a log. OR better yet find another company… seriously… I am only writing this so other people don’t get screwed over by this company! They either need to change their terrible service and improve or they will hopefully go out of business because what they are doing to people is extremely bad and wrong.

I am extremely upset with Comcast as a business. For the past year I have had billing issues. Originally I called to cancel our services because it was too expensive, the representative we spoke with said he could help to lower our bill. I was very pleased with his response & accepted the new rate I was given. However, when receiving our next bill it was not the price that I was told, it was much higher. So again, I called to cancel our service & the representative apologized & stated she did not want to see us leave Comcast, so she pleased me by reducing our bill & saying it would be guaranteed for 6 months. However, that did not happened when we received our next bill. Again, this has happened over & over & over again. Each time the representative is apologetic, makes me feel like I’ve been heard & that they understand. This is why I am extremely dissatisfied with Comcast. For over 1 year, speaking with over 8 different representatives, my issue remains the same. Comcast guarantees me a monthly rate I’m comfortable with & say’s its in affect for 6 months. Then it expires two months into it. I don’t have the time to continue this exhausting circle of a joke, I’ve wasted my time & energy. I wish Comcast would stand behind their quotes or representatives that give the quotes. At the end of the day, you’ve lost a customer. I can’t wait to tell everyone to drop Comcast!

Just tried streaming TV on Comcast’s Xfinity. It starts out with some voice saying the show is airing with limited commercial interruptions. In actuality, there were more ads for each normal break than on tv and on
. Also, the audio wasn’t synced with the video. When I went to leave feedback on their convenient «feedback» button, it would start playing the video again in a different window and the ads would start all again. I would click out of that window. Then about 7 minutes later a window would pop up, stop the first video and tell me I had two shows streaming which isn’t allowed. Of course, I had already clicked out of that already. This happened three times. Annoying.
The video quality is good. Sound quality is good. (They just aren’t synchronized.)
I’ve gone back to Hulu Plus. It’s worth the extra $ 8/​month.

The absolute worst customer service experience you’ll ever find. Signed up 5 months ago to phone, internet, TV. Has been a complete train wreck and have spent no less than 40 hours on the phone, most of it on hold — they have been worthless and failed to resolve all problems. countless issues, missed service appts, etc. Then I found out recently that they arbitrarily changed our phone number and gave our original number to another account!!! WTF! You can’t make this stuff up. HELP!!!

Absolutely the worst costumer service ever. Not even going to wast anymore time or energy with them.

Stop! Just stop the Comcast monster. Use dial up, go to plays, send telegrams, send smoke signals, do whatever it takes. Just stop feeding it, so it dies. Then hopefully some reasonable options will surface.

I need high speed internet and cable. Yet, the ONLY company to offer me cable lines in my area is Comcast.
They have been a horror to me and my family for every year we have been customers. I don’t know one person that has anything positive to say about them. That is ridiculous since they are the biggest providers of cable in this area.
My home has been «rewired» three times and as of this week I was told it needs to be done again. The techs are, for the most part, friendly and will talk your ear off their entire visit. They will also track dirt and filth all over the areas they need to look at. But first they actually have to show up. I can’t even tell you how many times we have been credited $ 25 for them not showing up. Fuck the stupid credit — I want service!
This last visit they made to my home, pole guys and indoor techs, they told me the exact thing I have heard from the lackies before them,“The old techs have the splitters on backwards or there is noise on the line.” How does a trained tech put on splitters backwards and how does this happen so frequently? And wtf does my house need to be rewired for a fourth time? If Comcast would stop running their cable through old lines and begin putting down new ones, the job could be done right the first time.
I went a full year with Comcast paying my bill. Of course, I had no working cable. It would randomly go out and not come back on for days. Corporate was calling me and apologizing, which was a nice start. But more than anything, working service would have been appreciated.
A few weeks ago, I get a call from Comcast asking me if I would like to start utilizing the higher internet speed package I was being charged for. I told them that of course I wanted the service I am paying for. They sent a signal to my box and it fried my modem. I couldn’t get help until the next morning and I was told that my current modem couldn’t support the higher internet speed. I had to ask, why did they offer me something my equipment wasn’t set up for and wtf were they charging me for the service if I didn’t have the equipment for it?
I can’t believe I haven’t even gotten to the customer service yet…
I call Comcast and go through their joke of an automated system, trying to reach tech support only to reach regular customer service every single time. I get someone live on the phone and depending upon the person they just might drop the call forcing me to call back and waste another twenty minutes of my time. And when I reach someone that doesn’t disconnect the call they do the same things that NEVER work. Unplug my modem for thirty seconds, they say… You just need a fresh signal, they say… I do these things before even calling now and they still tell me to do them anyway. After they realize nothing is happening they come to the conclusion, «Oh, you need technical support.» Why wasn’t I transferred there when I pressed «1» for technical support?
Comcast has a very flawed system. Can we get a class suit going? I know I’ve wasted so much time waiting for techs that don’t arrive, sitting on the phone for hours with customer service and time without the service I am paying for that they should be paying me. I wouldn’t recommend this company to an enemy.

Comcast is the worst service ever. The box they give you is terrible. The os on the cable box is slow an very outdated. The channels are all out of wack. Its not cohesive at all. Direct tv is leaps and bounds better an I will be switch asap

My equipment wasn’t working when I self-​installed (and I’m in the IT/​Web design industry, I’m not foreign to following directions and setting crap up) it. When I FINALLY get to speaking with a customer service rep after wasting 10 mins of my phone time, they only thing they told me to do was to unplug/​replug my modem… wow awesome. Thank you for the help.
So they decide the equipment i was given was bad. ok, then where’s my new equipment? Comcast decides they need to send a technican out to give me new equipment and fix it. Then guess what? I’m NOT PAYING for a technican when COMCAST gives me screwed up equipment to begin with. I spoke with the supervisor on ¹¹⁄₀₅ who promised me it would not be charged on my account.
I look and guess what, I HAVE A CHARGE. FUCK YOU COMCAST. UNPROFESSIONAL IDIOTS.
I wasted my energy, my time, my minutes calling today TRYING so hard to keep my composure, WAITING ON HOLD to talk to a human being instead of your BULLSHIT automated system to discuss removing this ridiculous charge AND CANCELLING MY SERVICE.

I am am so upset…3 weeks of no service for my children to keep up with school work. Detroit already had a low score in making sure the children have affordable and accessible out lets for internet and I switch… yes I switch to COMCAST INTERNET Essentials. MY home has the equipment, but now after not having a signal my children suffers. Because of your company and your lack of tech support knowing how to get my home online. This is WEEK 4 Now and still no signal… Maybe i should do a Unilocal review on this program… yup I am.
This is totally ridiculous and I mean stupid is bad but ignorance is stronger. COMCAST is getting all this federal monies to help urban communities to access internet at an affordable cost, but we can’t even get proper service to get the internet accurately and effectively. I could have continued spending my money with sprint on my sprint card and my 10year old fifth grader would not be falling behind in his classes because of COMACST. Yeah the libraries close early now that the sun sets early.
