Atlantic View Hotel

These owners have a great thing going, Free Wifi, super clean and updated rooms, and a better-​than-​most continental breakfast (which for some reason is extremely important to my husband). With free cookies after 8, and wine and cheese mid-​afternoon, you can’t go wrong!
The hotel is right on the beach, plus they have a private access upstairs deck from which you can watch the sunrise, or tan. There’s a small pool, and beach chairs are included. It would be handy if they get a small stash of beach umbrellas to off-​set the price of renting them for $ 12 on the beach– but that small suggestion isn’t worth knocking a star off my rating.
They also were especially nice to us with a great surprise for us on our anniversary! Highly recommend this place :-)

Star rating because it’s one of the better hotels I’ve ever stayed in at any beach, it’s right ON the beach, and it’s clean.
To give you a idea on what clean means to me; I typically bring Clorox wipes on vacation to sanitize gross things in the room like remotes, light switches, toilet seats, etc. I didn’t even feel like I had to use them in this room. Other positives: The staff here is very friendly, they have free cookies at 8pm, the walk to the beach takes seconds, the pool is nice, and it’s walking distance to several restaurants.
I was concerned that it might be a «party»
Hotel when I saw a bunch of «bros» on the rooftop patio hanging out, but the place has been relatively quiet all weekend so if they are partying it up, we haven’t heard any of it. I’ve seen a lot of couples walking around that look to be around the age of my parents (50−60s) which is a positive for me because I know (most of the time) they aren’t typical the demographic having raging parties in the room next to us all night.

First time staying here, but this place is great. We had a room facing the beach and it was outstanding. It is a very quiet hotel and a great getaway for a couple or family. It has a surprisingly good breakfast with pastries, eggs, juice and bagels. (Tip: If you want to take breakfast back to your room, use the Ice tray) If you are looking to party, this isn’t the place. We loved it and will stay there again. I only gave it four stars because I couldn’t smoke my cigar on the balcony. Other than that, it’s awesome!

This hotel is quiet and right on the beach. We stayed on the deck level oceanside which has the advantage of not having anyone above and quick access to a large rooftop deck. Close by, you have Sunrise for breakfast (opens at 6am) and Woody’s for sandwiches. We went on off season and the price was reasonable for what you get. I will come back if given the opportunity.

Decent hotel with great ocean views and staff that is very friendly and accommodating. I recommend staying on the ocean side on the 3^rd floor for the best views. The breakfast was also more than expected (continental, plus serviceable mini-​quiches).

This place is comparable to a Comfort Inn but I’m not complaining! It is located on a quiet street right next to the beach but it is less than a hop, skip and a jump away from the Starboard and other local Dewey institutions.
They also serve freshly baked chocolate chip cookies every afternoon!
