Kaiser Permanente Diamond Bar Medical Offices

Kaiser has never failed me. Most of their nurses and doctors are awesome! They would get 5 stars but the receptionist at this particular DB location, Selma, has given me nothing but trouble from the start.
First time I had a problem with her is when she was supposed to check me in for my appointment. She gave me my wristband and I was waiting there, watching everyone get called in even though they had come after me. Finally after 40 minutes (I know I shouldn’t have waited this long) I went back to the counter to see what the holdup was. They discovered Selma had forgotten to check me in. They were all laughing about it but I was irritated. That’s one of the central duties of her job and she couldn’t even do that?
Another time I went, while she was checking me in she realized she forgot to put the wristband on the previous patient and was going on and on about it. Then when she put my wristband on, she realized she had given me the wrong one. I try to cut her some slack but every time I come in I happen to get her, and she’s slow and rambling about her life and seems to forget something every time!
Still, the rest of their staff is great. And I love that they have an optometry department now so I don’t have to travel all the way to Baldwin Park.

I came here this afternoon for an eye exam and new glasses. Very professional and friendly staff, plus I didn’t wait longer than 15 minutes in the lobby AND the optometrist came 5 minutes after the nurse.
They provided excellent care, I left very impressed and would highly recommend this facility to family and friends.

Its so new and pretty, picked up a prescription and it was really quick. It’s a far drive for me but I don’t mind.

What a fantastic experience I just had at Kaiser in DB! I had a hard time getting an appointment here because there was no availability at the time I wanted so I had to wait about a week and a half, but after today the it was all worth it. My appointment was at 10am. I arrived 20 mins early in case I needed to fill out any papers. I checked in with the receptionist who was very kind helping me and directed me to the area that I needed to go to. There was absolutely no wait. (please make an appointment to avoid any wait time) I was called in by Dora C. (nurse) and from beginning to end was VERY SWEET and PROFESSIONAL. She could tell i was a bit timid and worried about being at the doctor’s and comfort me and told me not to be scared and that she would be with me the whole time. She was so awesome for doing that and made me feel very comfortable. She understood what I was in for, so by the time Dr. Wu came in to see me he knew every single reason why I was in. He was very compassionate and helped answer all my questions and took the time to treat me. Both Dora and Dr. Wu were with me the entire time and made this grueling appointment that I have procrastinating a quick and great experience. Thank you so much! I will definitely be back to this facility for any other future appointments and plan to bring my entire family as well.

I’ve been coming here for a couple years now and every time it’s a great visit! The front desk staff are very nice and nurses are friendly! They all keep it professional and this location’s service is very efficient. I’m in and out quickly and I haven’t had any problems. Clean facility inside and out. Love this place!

I usually go to the Baldwin Park Kaiser, so when I found out that a Diamond Bar Kaiser opened, decided to call in for my eye check up here instead since it’s closer to me. Called in to make an appointment and they were able to take me in the next afternoon with no problem.
It’s located amidst a bunch of other buildings/​offices; the surrounding looks very business-​ey. Parking is definitely not a problem. Came in through the main entrance and was greeted by the receptionist in the front. I asked her where the optometry office was located and she directed me towards the back. She told me that’s the newer wing they added on.
The optometry office looked really nice and it definitely looked new. When I finally picked out my glasses, the optician said that it’ll take about 2 weeks then I get a call 2 days later saying that my glasses were ready! I’m definitely impressed!
Going to schedule my appointments here from now on!

It was my first time using kaiser and I was very impressed with their way of doing business. Everything was very easy to do from setting an appointment, checking in at the office, and getting my medication at the kaiser pharmacy down the hall. Everything was convenient and easy. I was able to use the self check in at the kiosk when I arrived. The service was fast and the doctor and nurses were friendly. I definitely recommend using kaiser. They are great!
This office is really clean too. I love it!

Worst health care ever. Mean doctors! Had several bad event at doctors. Actually yelling at me. What part of professional services is that?

, when to emergency care then nurse after I told her I have a burn on my chin she proceeded to laugh her guts out at me and my injury. What kind of professionalism is that? And you help take this down like you do when people tell the truth

This review is for a lab visit to the Diamond Bar Kaiser facility. My usual facility is another Kaiser, but came in to Diamond Bar to do blood tests today because this office is closest to my house. Parking was super easy, service is extremely quick, and this Kaiser facility is the cleanest, nicest, and newest one I’ve been to. I came in this morning to get some bloodwork done, and experienced a less than 5 minute wait time. The technician was extremely skilled. No pain at all with the needle, which I thought was pretty amazing. Also, I got all my test results back the same day, which was also incredible. Maybe today was extra quick, but I was certainly very pleased with my experiences at this facility. I would *highly* recommend using this facility any day. I normally am not compelled to go onto Unilocal to review a medical facility, but I was just so impressed today.

Great services. Always look forward to seeing Dr Chen and the staff. Always good and friendly. Stephanie the nurse is nice. And the lab was in and out even though they had an issue with the ticket system. Always a recommend.

I stopped by early in the morning to get my free flu shot no appointment needed. That’s such a big convenience of not worrying if you have a appointment or not. The staff that they had giving the shot are real experienced, because you barely could feel the pinch of the needle. I didn’t have to wait that long they called the numbers quickly.

Incredibly rude service today from Kaiser labs and appointment folks. Something that was of concern to me seem belittled by the appointment staff. And because my Dr is located somewhere else in the Kaiser hierarchy they were unwilling to call for my labs to be reordered. Guess I don’t belong. Will remember that during open enrollment next month.

thing about this place is the parking! I always find a good spot right away and do not need to spend forever looking for a spot. the only negative is the ladies that check you in can sometimes have a weird attitude and ive been helped by all of them and they all have it-​strange-​but since I use the kiosks now I dont have that problem:).I also love that because its not packed I don’t have to spend much time in the check in area, at the pharmacy or even to see my doctor. love this kaiser!

I had hard time to make an appointment with kaiser. They don’t to wanna make an appointment with me then transfer me to another clinic. they also gave me a hartd time. they said it takes 2 weeks call me back to make an appointment. I felt so wired. call diamond bar clinic again. I told her my story then she said ‘I don’t know, you’b better talk to supervisor’ what’s a supervisor # «I don’t know.» what’s a kaiser fontana #? «I don’t know.» She lied. They know all kaiser #.
she just said to tell supervisor but never advice me how to talk to supervisor.
after hang up the phone call, nothing resolved.

Love it here, it’s not as crazy as BP with parking, and it’s so much easier to get to than BP as well.
We switched our Pediatrician to this location simply because of the location and convenience. All local streets, and the pharmacy is hardly every super busy.
We love our pediatrician here as well, she’s the doc for my sisters’ kids, so it’s a no-​brainer.
Check-​in is easy and the staff has ALWAYS been totally friendly.
hard to get same-​day appts, but that’s just a testament to how popular and well-​liked this location is.

The people here are nice but they totally lie to you about billing. I had two doctor’s visits and a few blood tests. It was supposed to be a co-​pay of $ 30/​visit and $ 10 for the lab under my insurance but my bill ended up being $ 610! Also one of the receptionists said one of my doctor’s visits would be free because I was just getting diagnostic testing done and because they’ve had so many patients complaint about this issue. Well, she was wrong but I can see why the patients complain.
Kaiser has the worst customer service ever. If you call about bills, you will be either on hold forever or they will drop your call saying that their call lines are busy. I was on hold for like 20 minutes and then when I finally got through to someone and asked about billing, they said they would look into it. Then they hung up on me. Worst of all, they don’t even have the courtesy to call you back when they drop your call and clearly have your phone number. This is annoying.
Moral of the story is to double check before you visit the doctor to make sure everything is covered because they do not know what they are talking about at the doctor’s office. They also recommend all these diagnostic tests that you probably don’t really need.

Pretty good medical center. I’ve had some bad experiences with the pharmacy department – generally just a rude cashier or two. However, I’ve never had an issue with any of the other departments. The pediatrics department here is incredibly good at what they do – I’d highly recommend them for all the shots a child would need. (Much kinder to let a professional do I there than at a walmart or target!

Never had a problem here. Calm environment. Staff is helpful and kind. So thankful this facility is close by my home.

I usually have a huge aversion to medical offices (like most people) but this Kaiser building has changed my opinion.
This facility is clean, the staff is nice, AND hardly any wait time. I don’t know what it is with private practices, but it seems every single time I schedule an appointment for 1PM it’s as if I have scheduled an appointment for 2PM! This has happened to me multiple times, not just at one particular private practice. Here at Kaiser, when you schedule and appointment for 1PM, you will be seen at 1PM.
Not only is this facility punctual, you also get a bottle of water while you wait! And the crowning glory, everyone is so NICE! I have been seen by a couple of doctors already and all of them are professional and kind. When you can joke around with your doctor it makes you worry less about whatever illness you may have.

Easy to get in and out of.
The staff are all very helpful and caring.
