My experience with Elite group property inspections was amazing due to our inspector, Chris Davis. I couldn’t have asked for a more professional, experienced, courteous, and genuinely kind individual.
Chris was very personable, attentive, takes his time to listen to your questions and answer them thoroughly. He arrived before the inspection time to set up. He did not rush through the process. He is extremely knowledgable and gives good advice on everything that we had questions or concerns about. I could tell through the inspection that he takes pride in doing his job. Chris goes above and beyond to make sure that you feel at ease with this stressful process of home buying. We felt like with this home, which is our future, is in good hands because of our inspector, Chris.
I felt like I can whole heartedly trust his opinions and advice on how to improve the home. I could tell that he is an honest professional that gives you good advice on what he knows. He also shares his knowledge about other areas that could be useful to home buyers. After the inspection process was complete, he gave a thorough report of his inspection. Immediately, the next morning in less than 24 hours, we received a detailed report with pictures.
The whole process of setting up the appointment was extremely easy, and I was so lucky to have had Mr. Chris Davis be our inspector. Will definitely use Chris for the next purchase, and would highly recommend him to family and friends, and anyone looking for a senior inspector who is knowledgeable, honest and kind.

They did a great job. We had Don come out to our house and he was very thorough and shared the issues with our house. The pictures and report was very detailed and professional. I didn’t really know what to expect but Elite Group did a great job. I went with them because my real estate recommended them and we were very pleased.

Brad was super thorough polite punctual and professional. He answered all our questions, and after his inspection we definitely had peace of mind knowing every little detail about the house we’re about to buy.

This is late review that back to August. I was really upset about their inspector. I hired the elite group to inspect the property that we would to buy based on so many positive reviews. However, the inspector did not even find there was gas leaking under the gas stove due to improperly installed the gas hose by the seller and he did not even see there was a paint popup on the dining room ceiling that was resulted from upper stair shower room water leaking. We had to hire someone to tear down upper stair shower room wall to fix the leaking which costed us $ 5000. I do not want to mention the inspector’s name and I believe it is Elite Group ‘s responsibility to hire someone qualified. The home inspect order number is 70 361 on 8-​28-​2015. DO NOT TAKE ANY CHANGES to use them again!!!

Excellent service from Eric Ward of the Elite Group at 2 different properties. They have a very professional attitude and their inspection reports are very detailed and thorough.
Eric first spent 4 hours inspecting a 2300 sqft home and 4 car garage, noting serious problems with the roof and chimney (confirmed by later independent inspectors) and finding a serious plumbing problem. Due to these findings, I’m pretty comfortable stating that he saved me $ 60k in required repairs. I ended up walking away from this property due to MANY outstanding issues found by multiple inspectors.
I hired Eric again to inspect my second property. Eric spent about 3 hours inspecting this newer 1900 sqft home. After the inspection, Eric talked thru his inspection findings while letting me ask a lot of questions. He had no problem walking back to areas of concern and showing me the details of issues noted. I ended up calling Eric back 3 days later to discuss one specific issue. He picked up the phone and answered my question, pointing me towards the fix required.
Do not hesitate to call these guys for your inspection needs!

I am very pleased to mention that Nate Smith with The Elite Group did a very thorough job of inspecting the home in Irvine that we are purchasing. Indeed, I have met and worked with many inspectors and must add that I am very impressed with Nate’s effort and energy to do a great job and did take his time to check every nook and cranny. He found that one of the outlet was shot which affected a few other electrical outlets near by. Something very minor yet it takes lots of work to go through every outlet in the 2 story house. He checked every kitchen equipment making sure that it works properly. Can’t say enough of how difficult in today’s environment to find a great worker. He definitely deserves my appreciation for a job well done.
Please relay my thanks to Nate and would definitely request for him if I require another home inspection.

As a realtor selling in OC, my client relationships are my bread and butter. Meaning, whoever I refer to my clients turns out to be a reflection on me. If I can’t recommend solid vendors to my clients, if something goes south, guess who they come back and point the finger to? Thats right, the realtor.
Thats why I will always use The Elite Group Property Inspections. Buying a house is an incredibly stressful process to buyers, and they need someone they can trust… And I need someone who is going to take care of my clients.
The Elite Group does a great job of preparing the client for the inspection and going through each finding of the inspection. And, again, since purchasing a home can be a stressful experience, The Elite Group has always done a great job of not making mountains out of mole hills and really calming the nerve of everyone involved. Every realtor knows that one bad inspection can kill a deal, which is why The Elite Groups attention to detail and customer service in the process has made the difference in all of my transactions.
Aside from the basics, if you’re looking for an inspection company who isn’t going to pass the buck or disappear after the inspection, this is your group. Mike Speirs, specifically, has gone above and beyond to make sure my client has had a great transaction from start to finish, and we closed 6 weeks ago. He has given me his personal cell phone and will work on a dispute or issue until all hours of the night until its settled. Although we all hope for a transaction with no bumps, its comforting to know that if/​when situations come up, they take charge in making them right. In an industry driven by customer service, I am so happy to see this level of service for such a well run company.
Honestly, this is the company you want on your side when buying a house.

What an amazing company this is with awesome inspectors! I had the pleasure of having Scott do the inspection for me, he was on time and ready to go! I was purchasing a home in corona and needed a inspector out that day. after contacting other companies they told me i would have to wait 3 – 5 business days. Elite showed up the same day! Purchasing my first home I was so nervous about the entire situation! Scott let me follow him around the house while doing the inspection and went over issues with me about the property! He was very upfront and honest about everything after the inspection and I was surprised to find out he sent the report to me the same day! Detailed pictures of every issue with the property! I felt so confident buying this house after the inspection! Five stars for elite for me!

I was recently in need of a last minute inspection that needed to be done in a timely manner. I thankfully came across The Elite Group, I gave them a call and was instantly impressed with their helpfulness and professionalism. I didn’t think it was possible but they sent an inspector to my house that same day. Our inspector was friendly, knowledgeable, and more importantly extremely thorough. After the inspection was over, he went over all details with me and answered all my questions with professionalism. A few short hours later I was emailed a full report. I honestly thought this process was going to be a nightmare, I’m lucky to have found The Elite Group, they saved the day. Thank you so much! This was quality service from start to finish. This was my third time ordering a home inspection so the process was not new to me. The other two companies I called were not available the next day, so I resorted to Unilocal to find another trusted inspector.
The report that was provided to me was a joke. There were little to no notes and had only a few pictures. When I moved in, I noticed water stain in the garage ceiling which was not reported. I also noticed a long crack around the exterior which was also not reported. There is no cold water in one of the bathrooms which was never mentioned in the report.
I keep getting solicitor phone calls from the company afterwards asking to purchase additional services.
I will never use them again.

Great Service and very nice people, we were running out of time and our other inspector got sick on the day of the inspection. So he referred us to Elite Group, they made it happen the same day we requested an inspection!!! They saved the day! The inspector Aaron was on time, conducted the inspection and answered all our questions. Thank you guys!

Dear Tim M./The Elite Group,
Your counter claim isn’t true. 1. In the report, your inspector clearly stated «no moisture found» (original words) around the loose toilet and only recommended to replace wax-​ring. 2. Mold/​rotten wood is visible from the crawlspace, in the report, there are many photos taken in the crawlspace except around the toilet area. They aren’t stain, there was water leaking for every flush. 3. If you keep saying inspectors can’t see thru tiles, that will make your company looked very unprofessional — what devices other than human eyes you use for inspection? 4. I’m not posting blames to you, I could technical call the credit card company to charge back, but I haven’t. I posted here to let other people know what to be aware of when they use your service. Realtors do like your company for quick sales but home owners will pay and LIVE in the house. My advice to you, Be professional, no one is perfect. Learn from mistake, move on, hope you can detect such visible water damage in the next inspection.

I’m a realtor that’s been using the Elite group for the past year and I’ve used inspectors from Mike Spierce, Scott Osko, Steve Coulter, Mike Adams, and Steve Osko. My most recent inspector that I used was Brad Issler and he did not disappoint! He arrived on time and thoroughly went through the home checking everything from electrical outlets to plumbing, to HVAC, etc. He made sure everything was pointed. The best part about Brad is that when an issue comes up, he presents the issue but doesn’t alarm the buyer in such a way that scares them off. Everything and anything could be fixed. So while being able to deliver the message and the issue at hand, the word choices that he uses is what makes him such a professional. I would definitely recommend using Brad Issler again for inspections in the future!

2 for my own home purchase inspections and they were used to inspect my house for sale.
Donald was my inspector all 3 times. Excellent work, very thorough, and friendly. I would recommend him.
2012 inspection price was $ 355 and this last inspection I did last week was $ 380. Prices did go up but I would still use them.

Elite Group was fantastic in its home inspection service with a very professional inspector who was thorough and detailed.
My agent request to schedule a home inspection on a Tuesday and Elite sent Dave, the home inspector by Thursday morning. He was right on time and carefully looked through every floor and all the way up to the attic.
Being a first time home buyer, I had a lot of questions. Dave was patient and thorough with his answers. He even walked me through some of the areas, including the attic so I can see the item in question for myself. The final report was easy to read and Dave walked through each line item and clarified any questions we had before he took off. I felt very comfortable asking him «dumb questions» and he answered all of them satisfactorily. Even though he was not willing to walk through the house again to go through each item at the end, I felt that he was thorough enough with the photos he took and the description he had.
I was very satisfied with the end result and will use the company again. In fact, we decided to not purchase the particular house after the inspection and will be hiring Elite Group again for another house that we are looking at.
