Dr. Gilmore is a graduate of the University of Tennessee Dental School. He is a member of the Tn. Dental Association, American Dental Association, 8th District Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, Tn. Academy of General Dentistry, American Society of Dental Anesthesiology. He has obtained his Fellowship, Mastership, and Lifelong Service awards from the Academy of General Dentistry. He is serving as the Legislative Chairman for the Tn. Academy of General Dentistry. He is a former Dickson County Commissioner for the 3rd. District. He and his wife of 32 years Caroline have 3 children.
