They don’t skimp on any ingredients in the Bacon bloody Mary’s. Don’t leave without trying one. or three… Pizza and other food items were excellent as well. Fun atmosphere– but it’s tough to find a seat, like most ski spots. :)

Yum this is one of the best Bloody Mary’s I’ve ever had, almost worth the trip up here just for that! Rediculous good! The staff if very friendly but unfortunately not very attracted to me, which would be preferred. But nice good when you don’t get the other. They will defiantly be getting my recommendations and return service, probably again today!

Great Bacon Bloody Mary’s! Delicious… The bartenders are friendly, the service was fast, and for $ 10, the price was just right. Especially for a ski resort bar. I’d pay the same anywhere. Great place for a break while waiting for my ski’s to be waxed! Highly recommend.

The upgrades are nice, but the food is awful. It’s your typical bar food, so I wasn’t expecting much. I’m better off ordering something from their cafeteria. The bathrooms are always dirty.

Best bacon Bloody Mary I’ve had so far! Nice and spicy and they pick the right veggie pairings.

The Legend is laid back. As is the Alley. Maybe not quite so laid back as it used to be but laid back enough that if your looking for someone to kiss your ass and make you feel special during the three deep at the bar rush this place might not be for you… that being said. For the money… your not going to find better food than this in the controlled consumption zone. Leave the fur coat in the Lexus, relax, grab a bloody(plain vodka) and just enjoy. The Green Chile Pozole, Calzones and Pizza are actually pretty respectable.

I stopped in here because I was famished after my half-day lesson. Unfortunately, I found the wait staff to be quite intimidating and rude. I felt mistreated more than once during my dining experience here. The more I think about it, the more infuriating it becomes, since I even left a generous tip. Being nice goes a long way people. I walked in close to 1:00PM. Since it was still fairly busy, I stood at the table directly behind the bar to order a beer and some food. The waitress made it seem like taking my order and that of the other people around me was such an inconvenience. I wish I could give this place two stars, since the food is actually good. But my experience overall as a guest, cannot be overlooked. Once my meal came, I started to feel weak and queazy. After all, I am recovering from the flu. So I decided to sit down at a table that was empty, since I’ve been in my ski boots all morning long. Well the waiter or possibly even manager at the time, said I couldn’t sit there because I didn’t have other people ordering. I just ordered $ 20 worth of food and beer just for myself! All I wanted to do was to sit inside for a few minutes, so I didn’t pass out while I ate my meal. There were plenty of groups around me that didn’t even order food! They were just drinking water and talking. Well another group noticed what had happened, and they kindly offered me there table once they were done. And again, a different waitress approached me and said I couldn’t sit even though I told her my friends were coming and we were going to order food. So instead, I invited three other strangers to join me, which they gladly did. I understand you can’t have people loitering. But by the late afternoon, there weren’t tons of people clamoring for tables, so why kick out those that will continue to patronize your institution?

Not really impressed. Was excited to see the upgrades and ski a bay w the new bar etc. been sitting here for an hour now. Just got my second beer and my food still isn’t here. Pretty bummed because being a local i would love to come back and hang here. But waiting for my food for an hour doesn’t leave me wanting to return. Welp hope it’s better next time.

Considering there are not many options at A-Basin for apres, this place really steps up their game(especially after the not very pleasant experience at 9280 Taphouse at Keystone the day before, but that’s another story). I came down famished after a day at the slopes and settled for the Macaroni and cheese with bacon and onions and WOW! I haven’t eaten this for a while since its nothing I really crave, but it was definitely worth the $ 9 that it cost and the serving size was huge! Service was great, courteous and attentive, unfortunately I dont remember our waitress’s name. The atmosphere was cozy and the place had a cool design. Definitely a pleasant surprise at A-Basin considering it’s a smaller resort as opposed to its neighbors.

Arapahoe Basin has really stepped up their game here. It has just re-opened and offers reasonable prices, and good portion sizes. For a small ski area this is a quality restaurant. They also offer some unique menu items such as a jackelope(jack rabbit and antelope) bratwurst, an inspired burger, salmon sandwiches, pizzas and calzones, and others, and it’s all quite tasty. They also have a lot of good Colorado microbrews on tap at the new horseshoe bar. I was impressed. I would even stop by here if i wasn’t boarding and just passing by on loveland pass. It is very scenic and newly renovated with many nice upgrades. Well done.
