We were passing through Dixon so I made reservations ahead of time. Just one night so how bad could this be? This place is a dump! When I saw the bulletproof glass at the check in counter with the dirty, poor English speaking gentleman I should have bailed, but I already made reservations. Yep, bullet proof glass with a little tray to slip your ID and $$ underneath. Funny, didn’t bother any other reviewers I guess. Upon entering the room, I open the closet door and a cockroach dashes away. A fresh curly hair on the rim on the toilet too. In the shower, a small spot of blood. Not a crime scene mind you, but just a ½ teaspoon or so. Good thing I wasn’t planning on taking a shower. Outside, guests that looked like methheads were smoking away and eyeing me as prey. I did not feel comfortable having my teenage son unload our luggage by himself so I covered him while he unloaded. Propped the chair against the door while we slept. On top of this, only 1 tiny piece of soap for the both of us. Dirty linens and parking sucks. Noisy too. I’d give zero stars if I could.

You get what you pay for. My friends and I were visiting to attend Picnic Day and needed a place to stay overnight. TIP: The motel is about a 10 minute drive from the UC Davis campus. I wasn’t able to check in so I called ahead of time and they let me give them the name of the person checking in for me. You’re usually good to check in anytime after 1pm. After they got the keys, we went to party in Davis. At around 2−3am, we came back to get some rest. Two of my guy friends slept in one of the queen beds and me, a guy, and another girl shared the other bed. The AC is really strong, cause I was freezing! But that will be perfect for those hot summer nights. Next morning, the guys showered and then we checked out at 11am. It looks a bit shady on the outside and it’s nothing fancy on the inside, but for $ 65($ 13 per person, booked through ), it got the job done!

I was very iffy on trying this motel as I hadn’t really heard about it before. But this motel is great! On the street but hardly any noise from the traffic. Bed is roomy and comfy! Great tv channels as well! Bathroom is huge with a shower but no tub. Towels are so so and the toilet paper is a bit rough. They supply shampoo and soap which is rare! Price is $ 50 flat, $ 5 charge per night for a pet. I have a service dog so did not need to pay. Smoking and non smoking rooms. Bathroom has a pantry in it, and room has a small fridge and microwave. Not far from a walmart! No laundry room. All in all a great place to stay!
