Typical upsale Jiffy Lube. This time the product they put in my engine did more harm than good, not to mention they topped off my radiator with the wrong antifreeze causing my engine to give out. My car is now useless and I was forced to buy a new one. Thanks you useless idiots!

Needed an emissions test (FAST) and a bulb or fuse replaced for turn signals…
They did the test, drained one light that had accumulated water, replaced the bulb, and said if it fills again, bring it in!

I recently purchased a new truck and have loved it so far. The other day though my serpentine belt frayed and whipped a coolant hose leaving a small tear. Well, I’m doing 50 on the hwy when I notice I’m steaming coolant out the front and pull over to see coolant pouring out the underside of my radiator. I could see the exact problem and thought I might be able to fix it myself by replacing the hose.
I got online to find the hose and turns out is a specialty hose and I couldn’t find it in any of the schematics online so I turned to Intel to help and Chad, the manager was awesome. I explained to him what happened on the phone and he said they could help and could probably have me in and out before they closed that afternoon. I got in around 4:30 and they got to work.
They ordered the belt and got started on that, but soon found out they’d have to order the specialty hose in for me from California and it would be 2 – 3 days. That just wasn’t going to work for me so Chad started smiling and dialing and found a few potential hoses that had the right curve we needed, but that we could cut to fit. After the second part was delivered we had a match that would work and they cut the hose, fixed me up, sprayed the coolant off my truck and sent me on my way just before closing at 7 pm.
I can tell you right now that the dealer would have left me high and dry for several days waiting on a part and that just wouldn’t cut it. I give Chad and crew mad props for getting creative and making it work for me. Prices were fair too.
I can tell you that I’ll keep Intel in mind for all my truck needs now and will probably be back for sure in the future.

Typically we have a shop we take to for regular maintenance and service.
Unfortunately, my husband was in a rush that day to get our car’s oil change done, so he went to the nearest location from his office.
The price seemed very reasonable. First negative thing was that they did not accept American Express.
Few days later, our car battery died. As we opened the hood of the car, we noticed the oil cap was not installed. We looked all over in the hood and we noticed the oil cap was nowhere to be found. My husband commutes from Orem to Draper daily, from the long commute and lots of constructions on the way there are some rough roads. And from that it seems like the oil splashed all over in the hood.
Quickly, I called the shop to talk to the manager, Chad. I informed him of our issue. The response that I received from him was atrocious. I strongly believe anyone who holds a management position should take some sort of customer service training. This man desperately needed to take customer service 101.
He was not empathetic to the situation, nor was he apologetic.
He said he would order the oil cap. That isn’t rectifying our issue fully.
It terrifies me to think what would have happened if our car battery hadn’t died.
It makes me cringe to think the damage that could of caused our car, simply because someone was being careless and did not fully do their job.
As the manager, I would think it would be his job to rectify the issue in a satisfying fashion for the customer.
Apology would have been a great start.

I needed to renew the registration on my car the other day — actually, I needed to renew it last month, but that’s not the point — but I needed to get an emissions test first. I looked up the On the Spot locations in Draper (they do the inspections AND the renewal, saving me a trip to the DMV), and Intel Tire and Auto came up. I actually ignored it and thought I’d just go up to Jiffy Lube, since it was my lunch break and I wanted it done quickly. But then I passed Intel on the way, and I ended up doing a couple of u-​turns so I could go back and support a local business.
I didn’t regret it. It’s a new, clean building. The shop was busy (I worry if an auto shop has no customers at all), but they made time to do the emissions test for me right then. I was there less than 30 minutes, which was awesome.
The guy who helped me was very friendly, and he said they do everything from oil changes to auto repairs. The only thing they don’t do is body work. I’m happy to have a place where I can go get my car serviced that is close to my office. I’ll definitely go back.
