Swig

This is a review for both the online «bulk cookie order» as well as the store location. I placed an online bulk cookie order through the company’s website four days prior to my chosen pick up day. I ordered three dozen cookies and chose the Draper location as my pick up. One day before I was supposed to pick up my order I received an email confirmation saying that my «order is complete.» I felt confident that when I went to go pick up my order the next day that all would be prepared. This was not the case.
I arrived at the Draper location around 12:45 (they don’t offer a specified pick up time on their website), which allowed them plenty of time to still gather an order together since they open at 7:30 AM (according to their website). I walked up to the pick up counter, and after waiting for a solid 5 minutes, I had several of the workers look my direction, but none felt compelled to assist me. Finally, I was approached and was met with numerous questions about my order, my name, what type of cookies, correct order date, etc. After another 5 minutes of pointless questioning and searching for my order in possible overlooked places, they came up with no record of my order.
The girl that helped me then told me they would get it together right away, then began to fill drink orders while no one then rushed to fulfill this order. After ANOTHER 5 minutes they began to put my order together and gave it to me. While all of this was going on, I had plenty of time to observe the quality of service for both the drive through window and the in store purchases, and I couldn’t believe the disorganization. None of the girls seemed to have a consistent job, they frequently changed their positions from the drive through service, cashier, and cookie froster. I’ve never seen such a chaotic staff.
In the end, the cookies are delicious, but the quality of service to get them is completely ridiculous. I decided to write this review only to warn any one thinking of placing an online order to call the day of to make sure that the order is actually put together and waiting to be picked up. Fortunately, I had a somewhat small order, but if you had a considerable size I imagine it would take quite a while to fill it, especially if they didn’t have enough pre-​frosted cookies in their refrigerators. I hope this helps someone out their who is contemplating ordering in bulk!

Cookies are ridiculous! Cute place with an small town feel.

What a disappointment! So much hype, and only oatmeal chocolate chip cookies live up to it. The drinks are ordinary, and the staff tells you what you want — regardless of what you want. The chocolate chip cookies are tasteless. The sugar cookies lack frosting; as in you can see the cookie through the frosting because there is so little.
The drive through is handy. Not much else to say.

Perfectly. Mixed. Diet. Strawberry. Cola.
Sugar. Cookie. Heaven.
When I take a swig of a diet cola laced with the fruity goodness of strawberry… I want that swig to be perfectly mixed… EVERY DAMN TIME. And by gosh… Swig delivers… well played… well played Swiggers!

I don’t care who you are, this place is good! Sugar cookies are the way to go (steer clear of other cookies), and the raspberry dream is the best drink. The store can get dirty and the service isn’t always fast, but it’s worth putting up with it for this cookie and drink. I know they don’t have great reviews, but give it a try. Follow my advice and you will not be disappointed!!!

Tried swig for the first time in hurricane so when I found this draper one is as so excited. My husband got ninja turtle and I got tigers blood. Both were very flat and the cashier messed up our order. We went back a second time just thinking that it was a one time mess. We brought our friends out of the six drinks we ordered (cherry limeade, drizzle, fruit loop, Malibu, big al and raspberry dream) only two were good. The rest were flat or tasted like normal soda and no syrups. Cashier still struggled. Sad to say I won’t be going back

Really nice experience here. The drinks were creative and tasty, and the service was friendly and fast.
I came on a Saturday afternoon and the drive thru line was crazy– we could hardly get into a parking space. Once we got inside the store, the long-​ish line moved quickly, and the employees made our drinks very quickly as well. I had the Dizzle, which was a sprite/​coconut/​pineapple/​peach mix, and it was really good. Additionally, I heard the guy at the counter give a couple of military people in uniform their sodas for free, which I really appreciated.
Of note, there is a lack of seating inside, but we planned to pick up drinks to go so we didn’t mind.

Ignore all the crazy people above complaining about «cold» cookies. This place is delicious! Service is amazing, no complaints here.

Horrible customer service! My wife and I thought we would drive out to the Draper Swig before they closed on Saturday night. She loves the St George Swig and the service there is excellent! But we showed up at 10:25 tonight the drive through was closed, no big deal we will just go inside. I was the fourth person in line and it became clear really fast that no one had been helped. The kids were all yelling at each other to see who could go home and were more worried about counting there tips. FYI no one in line got helped for at least 5 min. There must have been 10 kids on shift all highschool age. We stood there the lady in front of me had to pick up the dust pan and broom that she knocked over that was 3 feet in front of the cash register. I finally ordered and waited. when my order was ready the drinks were the wrong size and the ice cream wasn’t the size I ordered. FYI it now about 10:50. Finally get the order straight 2 drinks ice cream and a cookie. You wouldn’t think it would be that hard to get right. But then again there more worried about who’s off, who’s tips are who and B. S, with each other. One star is to much. I think you need an adult to supervise the young generation of kids working there. Sad to see such a company with a great reputation in St George so bad in Draper.

This was a good family friendly place to go to get customized drinks. I was mostly impressed by the service though. The person at the counter was very helpful and friendly. We ordered two of their sugar cookies to share with our three kids. She made recommendations on what to order, the Dirty Dr. Pepper, which I will order next time. My only complaint was the lobby area. The setup was odd, but I suppose better than a gas station. And it seemed a bit icky. But, I could tell they were all working hard. We will go again.

Good drinks and love the sugar cookies. The drive thru line can get long so it’s best to just run in.

I’m starting to give up on this swig location. We went after seeing the avengers a couple days ago. And I also owe one reviewer a apology. This last time we visited, they were cranking out some hard core rap and it was not edited version. I thought that last reviewer was meaning hip hop but after this last visit I know she meant rap. That doesn’t bug me so much but it definitely wasnt professional and it was not the clean version so I could see it making others especially other parents uncomfortable. We were going through the drive through and I asked my husband, do they not listen to the same stuff on inside? Maybe the manager is away and all the cats are at play. Back to what I really want to review. Is the quality of my soda… It’s not as good as when I get it at stg. :(I figured I’m going to stop wasting my money there and just buy the stuff to make it at home. It’s always gross and never consistent. Someone needs to be taken off drink duty lol or atleast swig it before they give it you lol.

I really do like this place. The main reason I’m doing this review is that, like most places this has extremely low ratings for stupid reasons. Almost everyone who does Unilocal reviews will give a place one star for a single mildly bad experience. Everyone needs to lighten up and give places more than one chance.

Swig is the best place EVER! I’m out of town right now and am having withdrawals from not getting my Mountain Dew with Watermelon and Vanilla Cream. The service is swift and the employees are courteous. The cookies are dense and very sweet, my favorite is the chocolate chip with pink frosting. Another super good cookie is the peanut butter with chocolate frosting. The manager here is always very helpful if any problems arise. Swig is the best place to get a snack in Utah!

Worst Swig! I love swig and go to the Provo one frequently. I went to this swig location three times while staying in Draper. Anyway the first time I took my cousins there and felt like it was almost inappropriate since they were blasting rap music and two employees where dancing and humping the counter. (Yes you read that right!) The second time I got the wrong cookies and the the boy at the counter seemed put off to take my order so I could tell he wasn’t listening, when I said I got other kind of cookie I was questioned about what I really ordered. The last time I almost got hit in the drive-​thru because a girl was reversing, anyway this resulted in me getting the wrong drink size and the girl at the counter didn’t want to remake it. I gave this swig three chances. I will not be back. Especially with the raised prices, I will go elsewhere.

Not impressed.
I had heard about this place from some of my friends. I decided to give it a since I had a sweet tooth and was looking for something to snack on.
I pulled in and decided to walk in since I had never been here and I wanted some time to look at the menu. I ended up ordering one sugar cookie and one chocolate cookie (I forgot the name of it) and a soda. The soda was good and I loved their ice!
The worker handed me my cookies and they were cold. I understand that they probably refrigerate them to keep them «fresh» but these were so cold. I tried to take a bite but the cookies were so hard and so cold. I was disappointed. I ended up getting a small taste of each cookie and then I threw them both away. Not worth it.
Don’t waste your time or money unless you enjoy cold cookies.

Been going to swig since it opened in St. George. My Dirty Dr. Paper had Diet Dr. Pepper when I didn’t ask for diet. The drink was gross and didn’t taste like I had much any coconut syrup in it.

I REALLLLLY wanted to give this place 5 stars but there was two things that lost stars for me.
–1 for their seating area. It’s so awkward because the furniture consists of random stools here and there and plastic lawn/​beach chairs that were dirty and too low to the ground. And then there’s one couch just chillin there facing the counter. Just not a comfortable sitting area and lobby.
–1 their drive thru gets busy. Like way busy. So last time I was there, I was in the lobby and they had to ask the people in front of me what they had ordered about three times. They were pretty unorganized.
Other than those two things, I love their drinks and cookies. They’re at great prices, in my opinion. And pretty addictive! Their sugar cookies are my favorite! I’ve tried a handful of drinks but always go back to my favorite — Mtn. Dew with strawberry flavor and mango purée. If you’re a noob or if you’re wanting to try something new, they have a menu of popular drink combinations that can help you out at the register.

I saw on their online menu that they had bubble tea, and so I decided I would drive across town to pick up one of my favorite drinks of all time. What I did not see online was any hours listed — poor marketing. But they did have a link to Unilocal so I checked out the hours there — great they were still open until 9:30. After driving across town I got there at 9pm, only to have them turn off their off their sign and lock the doors just as I pull in, closed for the night. At least two other cars that pulled in behind me got the same cold shoulder. Im not sure if the hours posted are incorrect or if the three young girls working there just had hot dates to get to, but either way I am without my bubble tea and not very happy. Zero bubble tea equals zero stars in my book.
